    Trash TV & Territory Truths: Watching Morton Downey Jr.

    After a brief hiatus, the Outlaws are back and firing on all cylinders! This week, the guys dive deep into the vault to watch and dissect the utterly chaotic, infamous 1988 episode of the Morton Downey Jr. Show featuring professional wrestling. Before jumping into the watch-along, Albert unleashes a parade of classic wrestling character impressions during a "strike-induced" missing Sleaze List segment. Plus, Dags shares some major news about his retro tape archiving projects. The Blame Game: Dags, Albert, and Brando kick off the show by playfully trying to take accountability for the weeks they missed recording. The Missing Sleaze List: Albert announces he is officially "on strike" due to a lack of payment (specifically demanding some "Dallas dust"). The Guest Impostors: In lieu of the Sleaze List, Albert puts on an absolute masterclass in classic wrestling impressions, bringing "David from California," Michael, Kevin, Kerry Von Erich, and a thoroughly unhinged Macho Man Randy Savage into the studio for a hilarious debate on house show work rates. Dags officially announces the launch of his new YouTube channel dedicated to preserving classic wrestling footage. He breaks down his current workload, including migrating 1991 GWF tape content and a massive new upload of 1983 Southwest Championship Wrestling. The crew pulls up a chair to watch the explosive, loud, and completely out-of-control Morton Downey Jr. pro wrestling special. The Panel: The infamous 1988 lineup features anti-industry whistleblowers Jim Wilson and Thunderbolt Patterson squaring off against company-line defenders Dr. D. David Schultz, Captain Lou Albano, and Monster Factory owner Pretty Boy Larry Sharp, alongside independent promoter Dennis Coraluzo.
