    Send a text In this episode I had the privilege of hearing Brianne's incredible story of overcoming the shame of her business collapsing. We chatted about being in a state of freeze after deep trauma and how difficult that can be to thaw. This is one of my favourite conversations on the pod so far. It's so important to share these shadows and scars with others so we can help each other expand. Brianne Roberge is a writer, podcast host, and speaker whose work began with a simple question, “what if I could be the voice that I was searching for, for all these years?”.  She had spent her entire life chasing perfection- in identity, career, and “doing life the right way”- until she hit her 30s and a quiet realization set in of holy fuck… this isn’t the life I’m meant to live. What looked good on the outside was built on a need for validation, fear of judgment, people-pleasing, and deep internal fragmentation… until everything unraveled and forced her to face the truth. She was allowing everyone else to dictate who she was and how she lived- and if she continued, there wouldn’t be any part of her left. Now a minimalist and world traveler, Brianne rejects the idea that success or happiness should look the same for everyone. A self-proclaimed de-influencer, she encourages others to question the stories they’ve been handed, embrace the messy growth of mid-life transitions, and to shed the masks they’ve carried for decades.  Brianne speaks with raw honesty about healing trauma, taking responsibility for one’s life, and making bold, uncomfortable moves to create a life that’s actually worth living.     The Weekend That Changed My Life
