    Green shoots

    Which is more than Johnny Kenny has managed to do in the last two games. It's a mixed bag this week. There's some discussion about the shambles at Tannadice with a bit of input from Davie Farrell, which you'll note was recorded just after the final whistle. We then move on to Sunday's game against Aberdeen and we genuinely look for and actually find some positives we can take from the performance. None of us are convinced by the new manager, but at least, for the first time, we could see what he is trying to do. The issue that we don't have the personnel available is a problem so there's some chat about the upcoming window. There's a jaw-dropping story from a trip to Carlisle that is worth hearing, incidentally.     "Hysterical p*sh" Part 2

    We got some feedback after last week's episode that we had been overly harsh in our view of the new manager.  It's fair to say that the events of the last seven days, unfortunately, have vindicated us to an extent. Incidentally, none of us takes any pleasure from that.  As we watched events unfold on the pitch, we decided that some input from an ex-pro and coach would be worthwhile, so Davie Farrell joins us to pass judgment on Nancy's "game plans" and it's no spoiler to say he's baffled at what he's seen in those first three games. We end the pod with a very personal RGC Award, and as always, thanks to everyone for their continued support, we appreciate every single one of you who listens.     What a riddy

    We did say when we started the pod, we wouldn't try to be knee-jerk reactionaries. Well, that shitshow on Sunday, against the backdrop of the events of the last 10 months, has put paid to any idea of us being optimistic about what lies ahead. There's a very brief review of the Dundee game, followed by a dissection of Sunday's horror show. We genuinely want Nancy to be a success, but there was a lot to worry about, and we discussed our concerns at some length. We look forward to the Roma game, and it's fair to say our man in the east isn't brimming with confidence about the outcome. Our attention then turns to the cup final and again optimism is in short supply. F*ck me, this episode sounds like right laugh, doesn't it?     Celebrations all round

    There's a fair amount of cheeriness this week.  Three great away wins have improved the mood, prompting the host to seek forgiveness from our man in the west.  We talk about that great victory in Rotterdam before moving on to Sunday's game in Edinburgh. All three lads were in attendance to see Celtic win comfortably at Easter Road although Jim and Paul (in particular) may have overindulged before and after the game.  It wouldn't be the RGC Podcast if there wasn't some moaning and the delay in announcing the new manager gives us the opportunity to go in two-footed on the board. Finally, we agree on the RGC of the week as the repeated bed soiling from the lads from Gorgie since we anointed their manager as an RGC has us all living in fear of "the RGC Curse" .     We beg your pardon

    We never promised you a rose garden... A year ago today, we released the first RGC pod, and we promised an upbeat pod, free of moaning and bed wetting. That's worked out well hasn't it? This week's pod is a bit bloody miserable with a side of righteous anger. The combination of an uninspiring win on Saturday, which followed a shambles of an AGM and a collective meeting, means there isn't much positivity around. Just a reminder that we are just three fans giving our opinions on Celtic, and we're not attempting to become influencers or try to monetise the pod, so it's possible you won't agree with our opinions, but be assured these opinions come from a good place. Incidentally, the invite for Ross Desmond to come on and discuss his views on the support is a genuine one. Thank you for all your support in the last year.     The Boy With The Two Pints

    The title isn't a song by a Belle & Sebastian tribute band but a reference to the story behind this week's RGC. As it's international week we took the opportunity to record a pre-AGM podcast and the message is that if you are a shareholder make sure your voice is heard either by going to AGM, Proxying your vote or getting your vote registered. It all helps to send a message to the board even if the block votes will ensure the status quo (for now) It also appears that the new manager will be announced this week and we enter the "Wilfball" era and we'd love to say the pod contributors are excited about what lies ahead. We think you know us well enough to know that's not how it pans out.     Buddie, can you spare a ticket?

    The giddiness from last week was a one-off thanks to an absolutely shambolic performance on Thursday. We don't spend much time on that for obvious reasons. The Killie game gets the usual "one half each" analysis before we move on to some new manager chat, and also raise some questions about our medical and sports science departments. Always remember that the board suggest we strive to be "world class" in everything we do. Guess what conclusion we reach about this aspect of the operation? We then have a chat about the ticket allocation for the final, and it yields this week's episode title. We finish with a bit of a trailer for another special episode next week and some gig chat (Well, when we say "chat" we mean "moaning") Incidentally, the plan for the special episode is to include a Collective update and a bit of insight into what the AGM is likely to look like.     Read The Röhl Of Honour

    It's fair to say it's a more upbeat podcast that in previous weeks. Sunday's game is obviously the main talking point, and we throw our weight behind the outrage at the refereeing performance in the Semi. We then move on briefly to the game on Thursday and have a bit of a chat about the names in the frame for the permanent manager at the moment. Quick chat about the Killie game and we acknowledge that the fixture is taking place on Remembrance Sunday in "traditional" RGC Podcast fashion. The host nominates his RGC for this week, but is almost usurped by an excellent suggestion backed up by a great gag, but democracy prevails. Thanks as always for downloading and listening.
