    67. Growth Mindset for Success

The best tool for staying on top of a hard tasks, like with Sustainability, to make a big impact is a Growth Mindset. Basically, it is a mental framework for approaching life that helps reduce the impact of "failure" and "difficulty" by remembering and understanding that failure is inevitable but also a learning opportunity. Challenges are growth prompts that help you get better. And when working on the Progress over Perfection view on Sustainability employing a Growth Mindset means you're already prepared when you run into tougher fixes or scenarios that simply can't be sustainable this time. I also cover the avalanche of "internet experts" making you feel incompetitant, insufficient, or like you're screwing it up... IGNORE THEM. That adrenalin and cortisol does not help you learn about sustainability, it does not make you better, and it has no place in your Growth Mindset. I give you full permission to ignore the fear mongering, guilt-pushing, and whatever else is stressing you on social, as long as you are Doing the Best You Can With the Tools You Have.
