What frustrates me about these types of podcasts—especially when hosted by liberal journalists—is the complete lack of serious inquiry into accountability. Of course, the host mentions that major pharmaceutical companies haven’t faced jail time, but it’s brushed off without real scrutiny.
Even the central figure in the story seems to suggest, “Sure, I should be held accountable—but not for too long.”
Everyone is portrayed as a victim, and the narrative always seems to steer away from real responsibility. I wish these podcasts would move beyond passive storytelling and spark real conversations about solutions and accountability—instead of reinforcing the idea that no one is truly to blame.
