    Next month, I will have lived in California longer than I lived in New York City—and I wasn’t prepared for the grief that particular piece of math would bring up.     The Horrifying Book that Explained Humanity

    I read a horrifying book that began unraveling my understanding of identity, reality, and humanity itself. Using The Last House on Needless Street as a portal, I explore the stories our minds construct, the identity crisis I experienced when I lost my voice, and the possibility that growth isn’t about replacing our former selves...but including them.     I'm Not NOT Throwing Out Goals

Goals can give us a direction, but they don’t always account for the changing capacity, seasons, and beautiful unpredictability of an actual human life. And habits? For some of us, they can become one more opportunity to believe we’re getting it wrong.     Fledgling Season

    Fledgling Season A baby crow on the ground. A worried little boy. A lesson that showed up twice in the same week. In this episode, I'm reflecting on the stories we tell ourselves when we don't have the full picture, the perspectives we miss when we're certain we're right, and the surprising freedom that comes from asking, What else might be true here? A chance encounter with what appeared to be an injured bird led me to a deeper realization about a situation I'd been wrestling with all week—and reminded me that awareness changes experience.
