Welcome to THE GAIL KING STORY. My name is Graeme Crowley. Join me as we follow the evidence in the disappearance of Gail Leandra King who was last seen in Minlaton, South Australia in July 1997. 27 long years ago. She abandoned 2 children aged 3 years and 5 years who grew up without their mother. Gail has not been heard from since that time by family, friends or police. Gail's remains have never been found and no one has been charged over her disappearance, despite South Australian Police stating they have only ever had one suspect for the offence. A $200000 reward for information has not coaxed anyone to come forward. There are many twists and turns to Gail's story. Women who in the most part were never spoken to by police and were located and interviewed by investigator Kelli. Graeme plays a recording of an interview between investigator Kelli and a woman who had a relationship with Marvyn Upton within 3 months of Gail going missing.     Ep 03 Who is Marvyn

    SHOW NOTES In this episode Graeme profiles Marvyn Upton, Gail’s fiancée. Very little has been said or known about Marvyn. Police and others suspect him of involvement in Gail’s disappearance so it was considered prudent to inquire into Marvyn. There is strong circumstantial evidence to show Gail King met with foul play. Kelli has located a number of former workmates of Gail and a former neighbour of Gail all of whom have comments to make. We shall continue to dig deep in forthcoming episodes to see if we can identify who was responsible for Gail’s disappearance.
