Power Over Pink Breast Cancer Survivor stories and health tips

Power Over Pink

Sharing our survivor stories from Breast cancer gives us a voice in a voiceless system and helps equip others diagnosed how to fight the Battle Ahead. As we share we help others know how to fight, how to find hope, and how to advocate for themselves along the way.  It helps you know that you can fight and do hard things too! As a survivor I found the health system left me feeling unheard, unseen, and dismissed.  I turned to the internet to find the answers I didn't get from my health team. I found very little outside from medical facilities. This led me on the journey to give back and provide what I was searching for.  What better way to know how to fight than to hear from others warriors who fought and won! It will look different for each person facing Breast Cancer, but you will not be alone. Connect with me on all other social media platforms as well.

Send us a text Jennifer is a Light in this world! She faced DCIS ER+ PR- Her2 - Breast cancer. Her story encourages us to listen to our bodies and always be your own advocate! She is a pastors wife, mom of 3 wonderful kids, teacher, friend, sister, and so much more! She has not let cancer define her and instead she is now using her journey to help others. She and her friend Dr. Lasharon faced Breast cancer together and decided they have a call to help others going through this horrible battle. You don't have to go it alone! They started Table Talk, a now national breast cancer support group. It started just before the Pandemic and then survived from turning to Zoom meetings. This has allowed the group to continue to grow over the years and now has members from all over who would not be able to attend if face to face. The group meets once a month and you can do it from the comforts of your home or in a park or where ever you'd like! If you'd like to join Table Talk and be encouraged along your journey then I will post the link below.
