Breakdowns from the Midwest Graveyard: Creation Denied

Creation Denied is a metalcore band from Northern Illinois delivering a relentless blend of crushing breakdowns, aggressive riffs, and emotionally charged intensity. Drawing influence from genre-defining acts such as Sepultura, The Acacia Strain, and classic-era As I Lay Dying, Creation Denied fuses old-school heaviness with modern production to create a sound that is both brutal and refined. Founded by Anthony “Tater” Szatech (lead guitar, backing vocals), the band features Matt Pickett on bass, Austin Shelton on rhythm guitar, Shawn Dotson on lead vocals, and Caleb Jennings on drums. Caleb also handles recording, writing, melodic vocals, mixing, and mastering, giving the band full creative control over their sound and vision. As a fully independent and self-produced metalcore act, Creation Denied represents the modern underground grind — authentic, disciplined, and unapologetically heavy. The band is currently promoting their latest single, “CASKET,” releasing everywhere on Halloween, a track that showcases their signature balance of brutality, atmosphere, and emotional depth. Perfect for fans of metalcore, deathcore, heavy metal, and underground music, Creation Denied continues to build momentum through powerful releases, tight musicianship, and a commitment to staying true to their craft. 📲 Contact & Band Information Band Name: Creation Denied Genre: Metalcore Location: Northern Illinois, USA 🔗 Socials & Streaming Spotify / Apple Music / All Streaming Platforms: Search Creation Denied Facebook: Creation Denied Instagram: @creationdenied

Haunted by Purpose: The Evolution of HYBRED 757

Welcome back to the Underground Nation Podcast, hosted by your host-with-the-ghost Bounce Ball Boogie — diving deep beneath the surface to showcase the rawest hidden talent in music, film, and hip-hop culture. In this episode, we enter the dark and cinematic world of HYBRED 757 — a one-of-a-kind rapper, filmmaker, combat veteran, and horror-driven storyteller whose life has been shaped by trauma, war, adrenaline, and relentless creativity. Born in Rota, Spain, and raised across the United States, HYBRED 757 never had the chance to put down roots. Constantly moving from school to school while growing up with pale skin and red hair, he quickly learned what it meant to feel like an outsider. That red-haired spirit inspired the stage name “HybRED,” which later evolved into HYBRED 757 to represent his new home in Virginia. Military life runs deep in his bloodline. HYBRED served in the U.S. Army, deploying to Iraq multiple times and experiencing the harsh realities of war firsthand. Those memories — the pain, survival instincts, and loss — would eventually fuel the core of his writing style. After a career-ending knee injury and an unexpected discharge, he returned home battling PTSD, identity shifts, fatherhood challenges, and the search for adrenaline outside the battlefield. He found it in street racing, physical fitness, filmmaking, and eventually horrorcore hip-hop. But HYBRED 757 doesn’t simply rap — he builds universes. Through his characters Lil Rory (his younger inner self) and Sinnister Rabbit (a twisted creation born from trauma), HYBRED merges reality with fiction to expose dark truths through humor, violence, and psychological horror. His music reflects everything he endured: abusive stepfathers, broken relationships, mental wars, reintegration after deployment, and the haunting weight of memories that never fully fade. You may have seen his post-apocalyptic vehicles and costumes at Wasteland Weekend or watched him in film projects like A-Haunting or the indie short Fastlanders — a five-year grind made with zero budget, pure passion, and a desire to push boundaries. Now, he’s channeling that same fire into an evolving sound that refuses to copy the mainstream. In this powerful and unfiltered interview, HYBRED 757 talks: 🎙️ Major topics in this episode How trauma became fuel for his art Why fictional characters allow real stories to be told The hardest and most healing moments from his military past What it takes to raise a family while building a career in the underground His transition from filmmaking to horrorcore The mental war after the physical one ends Faith, identity, and life after combat Why authenticity beats clout chasing — always HYBRED 757 is here to reshape the underground landscape with music that feels like a movie: dark, emotional, intelligent, and unapologetically real. Fans of ICP, Twiztid, Geto Boys, Brother Lynch Hung, Doomsday Productions, and metal-infused rap will feel right at home. If you’re ready for a raw look into the mind of a man who’s survived both battlefields and internal demons… buckle up. This is HYBRED 757. This is the Underworld Mindset.
