How We See Jesus Rightly - Sermon - Aug. 2026

How can we see Jesus rightly? Why is it important to? Why does this need to be daily, and not just a one time thing? Is there hope for me to see Jesus clearly, even when times are hard or if I mess up? Pastor Ty talks about how we see Jesus for who he truly is, in all of his glory, and why we do not need to be worried or put the pressure on ourselves to do so. Pastor Ty goes through many passages of the Bible to show us how we see Jesus, why it's something to celebrate, and then walks us through how we see Jesus rightly in our daily lives and as we read the Holy Scriptures. He also talks about how our lives will be changed as we see Jesus rightly. Watch live worship moments from our worship and ministry nights, as well as our podcast, here on YouTube. Spiritual Warfare | with guest Pastor Jon Thompson

Spiritual warfare is an overarching theme across the entirety of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, so it's important we know about it! The term "Spiritual Warfare" is a familiar phrase amongst Christians (especially among the more charismatic communities within the Church) but what really is spiritual warfare? What is our struggle against? What do we do with it? How do we recognize it? What does it mean for our daily, faithful, Christian walks? On this episode, Pastor Ty and Pastor Jon Thompson sit down and have an eye opening conversation. Pastor Jon Thompson (Doctorate of Missiology, Fuller Theological Seminary and MTS, Tyndale Seminary) is the Senior Pastor of Sanctus Church, author of multiple books including "Deliverance", and expert speaker across the world on topics such as spiritual warfare, deliverance, church leadership, and the spiritual gifts. He has over 25 years of experience and more than 700 direct cases in deliverance. What is Worship?

What truly is worship? Ty talks about how it's so much more than just music. He talks about exclusivity to the Lord, purity, worship and praise music, worship leaders, and more. When we know what worship truly is and what is required of us, then we open ourselves up to being able to know the Lord more intimately, see Him more clearly, and love Him more passionately. How to Hear God's Voice / How to Guide My Prayers

How to talk with God, how to hear God’s voice, how to guide our prayers... These are very common struggles amongst Christians. Ty talks about how he has seen so many people become frustrated with their prayer life, wondering if God does speak to them, can speak to them, or will speak to them. Left unattended, this issue can cause believers to spiral out of control. On this episode, Ty chats about topics such as: what is actually happening when we pray, the role of the Bible in our prayer life, and spiritual practices that can significantly help our prayer life.
