Versus: Ep. 22: Dracula: A Love Tale vs. Frankenstein (2025)

Hold onto your butts folks, as this week J&J battle two confusing, unsatisfactory and in some moments wildly bizarre films. Luc Besson's Dracula: A Love Tale and Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein.   Attempts will be made to decipher baffling decisions and ponder upon why said decisions were made and by whom? We're looking at you, Besson. Questions to be answered...                                                                                            Who helps Dracula around the castle?  Is the sun a problem?  Is Dracula even a Vampire?  What if Victor Frankenstein was an unlikable dick from day one? What if Victor and Elizabeth's love story was replaced with antagonism and mixed messages? What if the monster was "sexy" ? Is this some of the worst CGI we've ever seen ? Who are these characters Christoph Waltz is playing? And,  Did that just happen? There will be cursing. Also SPOILERS. All the spoilers. We spoil everything , so be warned. Frankenstein is on Netflix and Dracula can be rented on Youtube. We cannot respond to comments here.
