The Motorsport REView - 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Review

Following the disappointment of the new Spanish Grand Prix circuit, Formula 1 returns to the city of Baku for one of the calendars most loved street circuits - the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Known for featuring a little chaos, and combining the narrowest castle section with one of the longest straights on the entire calendar. The circuit is a challenge for the drivers and the engineers alike. Talking of engineers, Perry is joined by Ben Hebbourn from the McLaren Hypercar team. Together they discuss Russell's defence against the Red Bull's, Antonelli's recovery, and the messy safety car restart that ended 3 races. Ben and Cassandra are working on some great projects - currently focused around tours of Lapland, but soon around all manner of motorsports and paddocks! So please also check out those ventures at the links below and give him your support!https://lifeinthepitlane.comhttps://Lapplandlivsstil.comhttps://Lapplandlivsstil.se If you enjoy what we do then please let us know - all of our social media links are below. The Motorsport REView - Max vs 100 Review

Here at the Motorsport REView, we like events and series that are a little bit different. Especially when that event will put a 4 time F1 Champion up against 100 amateurs in go karts and stream the whole thing live! "Max vs 100" was not technically a new idea, as Perry might mention occasionally... However what was new here was the production quality of this event. Perry is joined by Noopur to discuss everything from the event, including the entertainment of it all, whether Max Verstappen should have been given any penalties, and whether this now makes Max a Disney princess! We also discuss the announcement of the 2027 F1 calendar, with sprint races up to 10 events, a sprint announced at Monaco, and the fact that both the Indy 500 and Le Mans 24 hours will not clash with F1 races... The Motorsport REView - 2026 MotoGP British Grand Prix Review

In the motorbike racing domain, MotoGP is the premier class and shares a lot of similarities with Formula 1. 5 of the top manufacturers compete over 22 weekends, with the top riders all vying for the grand prize of being MotoGP Champion. Liberty Media even acquired the rights last year, and in 2027 the series will use Pirelli tyres just like Formula 1. It is no wonder that rumours are rife that some time in the not too distant future, we may see the 2 top classes share a venue for what would be the ultimate motorsport event. MotoGP fans Nicola and Luis join Perry, who hasn't watched a MotoGP event since The Motorsport REView covered the 2025 Thai Grand Prix - one of the earliest episodes recorded. So what has changed in that time, and what does the future have in store? Marc Marquez dominated the Championship in 2025, but 2026 is looking far more competitive with a number of top riders on a number of different machines and across various teams all in contention. The Motorsport REView - 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix Review

F1's final race before the summer break is the Hungarian Grand Prix. Described as Monaco without the walls due to it's tight and technical layout, the Hungaroring sits just outside the capital city of Budapest. Unlike the previous 2 races, the circuit design means that the energy hungry 2026 F1 power units will have plenty of regeneration and we can talk about the racing instead! Joining Perry to review the Grand Prix is social media superstar Brendon Blake - no doubt that you will have seen his content pop up online already, and quite often involving Oscar Pupastri too! Together we look into the long awaited Aston Martin AMR26B debut, could it provide the step forward the team and fans were hoping? Papaya rules are also back on the menu as the McLaren pair fought for the race win, plus the strategic battle that took place in the melee behind them.
