Meet 3 Women Changing Lives in Monmouth County

Three women. Three organizations. One county that runs on them more than most people realize. In this episode I sit down with Jeanette from 3 Little Birds Fund, Randi from 180 Turning Lives Around, and Michele from Wag On Inn Rescue all serving families and pets right here in Monmouth County, New Jersey.Randi explains how 180 Turning Lives Around has served survivors of domestic and sexual violence since 1976. It's the only organization in Monmouth County offering these services 24 hours a day, and it operates the county's only emergency shelter along with free counseling and the Family Justice Center in Freehold.Michele shares the story of Wag On Inn Rescue, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) that's been saving dogs, cats, and small animals since 1998. There's no kennel, every animal lives in a foster home across Monmouth and northern Ocean counties until they're placed. And Jeanette walks us through 3 Little Birds Fund, on helping families who are wanting to provide essential therapies for their children but may not have the financial means to do so. We talk about how each of them started, what people get wrong about who needs help, and the most useful thing a Monmouth County neighbor can do today.🔗 Links to all three organizations: http://www.3littlebirds.org/ https://wag-on-inn.com/https://180nj.org/📍 Questions about buying or selling in Monmouth County? www.nicolerabbat.comIf you care about what's happening in this county, subscribe!

Fit, Fierce & In Business: Three Women on Wellness in Monmouth County

Short Description:Nicole sits down with Lauren from Buff Beauties/Buff Brides to Be and Katie from Perpirology for an honest conversation about what it really means to be fit — body and mind. These three Monmouth County female entrepreneurs open up about running businesses, serving their communities, and why taking care of yourself first isn't selfish, it's essential. What does it actually mean to be fit? Not the Instagram version — the real version. In this episode, Nicole is joined by two women she genuinely admires: Lauren from Buff Beauties and Katie from Perpirology, both of whom are building businesses rooted in helping people feel better in their own bodies. Nicole works out six days a week — running, hot yoga, strength training — not because she has to, but because she's learned that how she shows up for her clients depends entirely on how she shows up for herself first. This episode is a natural extension of that belief, brought to life through conversation with two women who've built careers around it. The three cover what fitness really looks like day-to-day, why the mind-body connection matters more than most people admit, and what it's like navigating entrepreneurship as women in Monmouth County. It's candid, warm, and genuinely useful — whether you're already deep into a wellness routine or just starting to think about one. About the Guests:Lauren is the founder of Buff Beauties, bringing strength-focused training to women in Monmouth County. Katie is the founder of Perpirology, helping clients through personalized wellness practices. Both are small business owners deeply rooted in their local community. If this episode resonated with you, share it with a woman in your life who needs to hear it.
