Women’s Hair Loss Breakthroughs: Red Light, FUE Brows/Beard, JAK Inhibitors & Vortiporfin (Dr. Melissa Toyos)

Women’s Hair Loss Breakthroughs: Red Light, FUE Brows/Beard, JAK Inhibitors & Vortiporfin (Dr. Melissa Toyos)Kellie Rhymes, a women’s hair loss support and authenticity coach, interviews Dr. Melissa Toyos, a board-certified ophthalmologist and partner at Toyos Clinic (Memphis, Nashville, New York City) who now focuses on hair restoration research and procedures. Toyos shares how treating NFL cheerleaders’ lash and hair-extension damage led her into hair science, noting major overlap with ophthalmology (anti-inflammatories, immunomodulators, prostaglandins like Latisse). They discuss how she selects among topicals, oral meds, lasers, PRP/injectables, and surgery based on patient lifestyle, plus why most care is cash pay, the role of genetic testing to predict responsiveness (minoxidil, finasteride, prostaglandins), and the need for thorough medical workups. She explains red-light device quality factors, technical precision in FUE for eyebrows/beards, and emerging innovations including JAK inhibitors and vortiporfin to reduce scarring and potentially regrow donor or scarred-area hair, with typical timelines and follow-up milestones.Links:Follow Dr. Melissa’s Blog on www.toyosclinic.com, Instagram at drmelissatoyos TikTok @drmelissatoyos.The Bougie Baldie TV Show Bald Confidence is officially out! Kellie launches season two of the Bougie Baldie Podcast and interviews Johanna Dalman, founder of Alopecia Angel and host of the Alopecia Angel Podcast. Johanna recounts being diagnosed with alopecia areata after a stylist found a bald spot, seeing multiple doctors across Europe and the U.S., and declining pharmaceuticals due to fertility concerns and side effects. After four years of research and holistic healing, she regained her hair, resolved related symptoms, and later had a healthy pregnancy at 40. She explains her individualized Hair and Heal program, including a 12-page evaluation, functional medicine testing offered worldwide, and tailored protocols for various hair-loss types, noting many clients see shedding stop quickly and growth within weeks. Kellie Rhymes hosts the Bougie Baldie Podcast and interviews Dena Stanley, a 50-year-old alopecia advocate and founder of Royal Hair Loss Studio in North Arlington, Texas. Dreams to Discoveries: Morris Brown on Hair Loss Solutions and More

Kellie welcomes Morris Brown to the Bougie Baldie Podcast to discuss his background in television, corporate training, and authorship, and how a traumatic brain injury from a rear-end car accident led to unusual side effects and a surge of invention ideas. Morris describes vivid lucid dreams, sensing the “personality” of food and the cook, and waking early with solutions that he develops using AI tools. He shares multiple inventions in progress, including a sugar replacement in liquid and flour forms that tastes like maple syrup, has zero glycemic effect, and is intended to mimic the effects of eating vegetables, plus other concepts such as a new propulsion approach and proposed solutions for tendonitis, Alzheimer’s, fibromyalgia, and hot flashes. The main focus is two hair-related inventions: Ravita Crown, a supplement intended to change hair texture via DNA reprogramming at the follicle level in about three months for people who already have hair, and Reset Protocol, designed to address multiple causes and types of alopecia with a goal of a full head of hair in six months; Morris notes simulated trials showing high success rates and says human trials and FDA-related steps require significant investor funding. He discusses a licensing strategy to work with existing hair industry companies. Kellie also highlights Morris’s 13 books, including Smart Fetus and the children’s series Hanging With the Girls, inspired by his time taking his daughters to parks in Los Angeles; the books use real park photos and he plans cartoons for each book. The episode closes with where to find Morris’s books, a call for investors, and Kellie’s reminders about her support resources and her Bougie Baldie streaming TV show on the Zondra TV network, plus sponsorship opportunities.Linkshttps://ihangwiththegirls.com/  / morris-brown-234b8b11  https://ktla.com/business/press-relea...Books - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGNXL48S?...
