Jenn Cohen: Why Intuition Is Your First Sense, Not Your Sixth

What if the thing guiding your best decisions isn't a skill you need to develop, but a sense you were born with and gradually taught to ignore? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Jenn Cohen, Intuitive Consultant and Channel. After 27 years in the entertainment industry, working across DreamWorks, IMAX, Warner Brothers and Turner, Jenn followed her own intuition out of corporate life and into work she describes as tuning into the highest frequency available to each client. She calls intuition our first sense, not our sixth. It's the sense we arrived with. And often the first one we're taught to override. What Jenn does in her sessions isn't coaching in the traditional sense. She tunes into a client's higher self and mirrors back what's already known but being bypassed, usually because it feels too big, too fearful, or too disruptive to act on. The moment of recognition, she says, is unmistakable. Clients hear it come out of her mouth and know immediately. Not because she's told them something new, but because she's said out loud what they've been quietly thinking and talking themselves out of. The shifts she describes aren't always dramatic on the outside. But they're profound at the core. People start trusting themselves. The heaviness lifts. And from that place, everything else, work, relationships, decisions, begins to move differently. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why intuition is our first sense, not our sixth, and how we're systematically trained away from it from childhood ➤ What it actually looks like to work at the frequency level, and why Jenn isn't listening to the story so much as what wants to come through ➤ The U-turn back to self, and why every time we want to point outward, that redirection is where the real shift lives ➤ What the dread on a Monday morning is actually telling you, and why it's worth listening before it gets louder This episode is for anyone who's been sensing something needs to change but keeps talking themselves out of it. Coral Bell: Identity Alchemy and the Art of Becoming Yourself Again

What if the thing keeping you stuck isn't the problem you think you have, but the way you're looking at it? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Coral Bell, Identity Alchemist and founder of Identity Alchemy. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience across energy work, somatic exploration, and intuitive pattern recognition, Coral works beneath the surface of the presenting problem to uncover what's really going on, and then helps people shift it. Her entry point is something many women recognise the moment they hear it. Over years of caregiving, people-pleasing, and putting everyone else first, we quietly lose ourselves. Not dramatically. Just gradually. Until someone asks what you want, and you realise you genuinely don't know. Coral's work is about getting that back, not by starting over, but by changing the lens through which you see yourself and your life. What I found most compelling about this conversation is how Coral works. There's no rigid programme, no step one, step two, step three. She brings in whatever each client needs, from EFT and somatic work to Reiki and intuitive pattern recognition, and she meets people where they are. One of her clients went from being unable to leave the house alone after COVID to driving herself, travelling abroad, getting married, and earning two promotions, all within about six to eight months. In this episode, we explore: ➤ What Identity Alchemy actually means, and why reclaiming your identity isn't about starting again or losing what you've already built ➤ Why so many women struggle to answer the question "what do you want?", and how years of putting others first quietly erodes your sense of self ➤ The role of the body in lasting change, and why somatic work creates shifts that talking alone often can't reach ➤ Why you don't need another answer, you need to see the problem differently, and what that actually looks like in practice This episode is for any woman who senses that something needs to change, even if she can't quite put her finger on what. Megan Weisheipl: The Selfish Hour That Changes Everything

What if the thing standing between you and the life you actually want isn't your strategy, your systems, or your schedule, but the thoughts you've never stopped to question? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Megan Weisheipl, Mindset Coach, Speaker, and Author of The Selfish Hour. Megan helps ambitious women who feel stuck stop getting in their own way, by teaching them to understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours so they can lead themselves with courage and intention. Megan's entry point into this work is disarmingly simple: she calls it being selfish. Not in the way that word usually lands, but in the way she has redefined it. Selfish, to Megan, means caring so much about the people in your life that you're willing to fill your own cup first. For two years, she woke up an hour earlier than her family every single morning to journal, meditate, and work on her own mind. That practice became the foundation of everything she now teaches. What struck me most is how her approach gets to the root of something so many high-achieving women share: we're so good at doing the next thing, and the thing after that, that we never pause long enough to ask whether our thoughts are actually working for us. You can't change what you're not aware of, and Megan's work is built entirely around that truth. In this episode, we explore: ➤ Why awareness is the starting point for everything, and how slowing down enough to notice your own thought patterns creates the conditions for real change ➤ The concept of the Selfish Hour, and why giving yourself that intentional time isn't indulgent, it's the most generous thing you can do for the people around you ➤ What actually creates lasting transformation, including the moment one of Megan's clients said she didn't like herself at the start but genuinely loved the woman she'd become by the end This episode is for any woman who's been doing all the right things and still feels like something's off. The answer might not be more doing. Mary Michele Nidiffer: Stop Asking How You Look and Start Asking How You Feel

What if the reason you can't make an outfit is that your wardrobe was built for a past version of you? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Mary Michele Nidiffer, The Visibility Stylist™, creator of the StyleFinder ID® System, and founder of The Art of Becoming Visible. Mary Michele helps women entrepreneurs, speakers, authors, and leaders stop shrinking, blending in, and waiting for permission to be seen, not by reinventing themselves, but by fully expressing who they've been all along. What I found so compelling about this conversation is that Mary Michele is not talking about clothes, not really. She's talking about the gap between who you were and who you are now, and the moment you stand in front of a wardrobe full of things you spent real money on and don't recognise yourself in any of it. Her StyleFinder ID® System was created precisely because so many women told her they had no style, when what was actually happening was that their wardrobe had stopped reflecting them. Style, she says, starts within, and without understanding what your style types actually are, you're building a wardrobe for someone else. She also shares the moment that changed everything for her personally, standing in front of a mirror after having her daughter, bracing for the familiar flood of self-criticism, and instead feeling only gratitude. That one moment became a promise to herself and to her child, and it's the foundation of everything she now teaches. In this episode we explore: ➤ Why so many women feel disconnected from their wardrobes, and how the identity gap between past and present self shows up in ways we often don't recognise ➤ The one question to stop asking and the one to replace it with, and why that shift alone begins to change the way women relate to how they show up ➤ How style became a vehicle for self-permission, and why Mary Michele's clients often discover they've been carrying unwritten rules about who they're allowed to be for decades ➤ What the StyleFinder ID® System actually reveals, and how knowing your style types gives you a language for self-expression that goes far beyond clothes ➤ Why true style is never performative, and what distinguishes dressing for yourself from dressing to manage what others think This episode is for any woman who has ever stood in front of a full wardrobe and felt invisible, or who suspects there's a version of herself she hasn't quite given herself permission to express yet. Lisa Mohr: The Energy Hygiene Practice That Could Change Everything

What if 99% of what you're feeling at any given moment isn't actually yours? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Lisa Mohr, Reiki Master Teacher, author, intuitive development instructor, and Founder of The Mohr Method of Healing. Lisa has been teaching Reiki and energy work since 1995, has taught more than 12,000 students worldwide, and is the author of seven books on Reiki, energy hygiene, and intuitive development. Her work centres on helping naturally intuitive people strengthen their abilities while learning to understand, manage, and protect their energy. Lisa's path into this work started at five years old with a quiet but certain knowing, and by eight she was already tracking down books on psychic phenomena in her school library. By 19, she had saved up to train as a Reiki master and began building what would become her own system, combining Reiki with energy protection from the very beginning. That integration, teaching people not just how to channel healing energy but how to ensure it remains distinctly theirs, is the thread that runs through everything she teaches. What really stayed with me in this conversation is how grounded and evidence-based her approach is. Lisa is not asking anyone to take this on faith. She builds demonstrations into her teaching from the very start, so students collect their own proof that the practices are working before they go any deeper. And what they discover, almost universally, is that a huge proportion of what they thought were their own emotions, moods, and physical sensations are actually absorbed from the people and environments around them. In this episode we explore: ➤ Why energy hygiene is the foundation of everything, and what changes when people learn to recognise what is their own energy versus what they've absorbed from others ➤ The Mohr Method of Healing, and how Lisa integrated energy protection into Reiki training from day one, creating something far more expansive than traditional Reiki alone ➤ What actually shifts for students who go through this work, including their health, relationships, sleep, and capacity to set boundaries without guilt ➤ How to start protecting your energy today, including where to find Lisa's cord-cutting meditation on YouTube and the simplest first step for anyone who suspects they're carrying more than their own ➤ What 31 years of teaching has led her to believe is the one thing that would change everything, if we learned it from childhood This episode is for anyone who has ever felt drained after being around certain people, who absorbs the mood of a room the moment they walk in, or who has a sense that there is more to their intuition than they've yet been shown how to use. Skylar Acamesis: The Energetic Truth About Disease, Healing, and Sovereign Health

What if your illness was never a failure of your body — but a message from it? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Skylar Acamesis, Master Medical Intuitive, creator of the Medical Intuitive Technique™, founder of the Medical Intuitive Association™, nutritionist, author, and registered hypnotherapist. With over 20 years of experience as a spiritual healer, speaker, and facilitator, Skylar works from her online Medical Intuitive Clinic, training healers and supporting clients to transform disease energetically into health. Skylar's path into this work began at 10 years old, when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's. What followed was a decade of pushing through exhaustion, looking externally for answers, and slowly realising that every answer she had been searching for was already available from within. That discovery, that health is sovereign and belongs to us, became the foundation of everything she now teaches. What struck me most in this conversation is how clearly Skylar articulates the gap between physics and metaphysics. Western medicine and energetic healing are not competing systems, they operate on entirely different principles. And the reason so many people remain stuck, she explains, isn't a lack of trying. It's that we've been taught to approach the body as something that lets us down, rather than something doing its best to protect us. Disease, from a metaphysical perspective, is often the perfect storm of images, meanings, and systems the body has built to keep us safe. Skylar's work goes into those systems directly, deconstructs them, and replaces them with what she calls an unconditional health system, built from each person's unique blueprint. In this episode we explore: ➤ Why the language of the universe is images, not emotions, and how this changes everything about how we approach healing at a root level ➤ The difference between temporarily dissolving symptoms and transforming the system that created them, and why most healing modalities only go part of the way ➤ What sovereign health actually means, and why so many people have been taught to fear their own bodies rather than trust them ➤ The level of training and integrity it takes to hold someone through illness, and why Skylar founded the Medical Intuitive Association to close that gap ➤ The remarkable results she has witnessed over 20 years, and what they reveal about the body's capacity to return to health when the energetic root is addressed This episode is for anyone who has done everything right and still feels stuck, or who senses there is a deeper layer to their health that conventional approaches haven't reached. Russell Kimberly: Some Doors Only Open From the Inside, and Breathwork Is the Key

What if healing doesn't have to be the long, drawn-out process most of us assume it will be? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Russell Kimberly, Trauma-Informed Breathwork Coach and Tantra Facilitator based in California. Through conscious connected breathwork blended with tantric principles, Russell helps people move through PTSD, emotional dysregulation, addiction recovery, and disconnection from self, often in ways that years of conventional therapy hadn't been able to touch. Russell's path to this work came through his own recovery. Ten years clean and sober, doing everything suggested by his programme, he kept hitting a wall of depression rooted in guilt, shame, and body dysmorphia he hadn't even known to name. Therapy felt slow. Medication wasn't something he wanted. So he started looking elsewhere, eventually finding tantric practitioners in Santa Barbara whose work led him to breathwork, and to a series of experiences he describes as sudden emotional releases he didn't even know were still in there. A practitioner told him he had a rare depth of connection to feminine energy and that he should train in this work. He knew immediately she was right 😊. What followed was two years of training at Intercamp School and further study with breathwork practitioner Ben Holtz, then years of working with veterans with PTSD, people in addiction recovery, and anyone seeking a deeper connection with themselves and with something greater. In this episode, we explore: ➤ What conscious connected breathwork actually does to the body and brain, including the chemical cascade of dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin that begins naturally within the first fifteen minutes ➤ Why the Department of Defence is quietly prescribing breathwork to soldiers with PTSD, and what a near-hundred percent success rate within three months tells us about this approach ➤ The difference between outside-in and inside-out healing, and why somatic work can move people in six to ten sessions to places that therapy sometimes takes years to reach This episode is for anyone who has done the talking, done the thinking, and still feels like something inside hasn't shifted yet. Nancy E Presser: The Proven System That Gets New Coaches Their First Paying Clients

What if the thing standing between you and your first paying client isn't your skills or your certification, but a quarter-inch turn in how you see yourself? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Nancy E Presser, The Clarity Coach for New Coaches. After 30 years as an energy healer and massage therapist, and a winding road that included failed online programmes, a redundancy, and losing her home in a California wildfire, Nancy found the combination of strategy, mindset tools, and NLP that finally worked. Now she teaches it to newly certified coaches who are brilliant at their craft but stuck when it comes to actually getting clients and building a business. Her story is a real one. She spent years trying different online programmes, doing three at the same time at one point, and still not being able to crack it. After the wildfire took everything in 2021, she went back to a nine-to-five, hated every minute, and then declared to her coach that she wanted to do what she was doing. Within weeks, she was made redundant. She took it as the sign she'd been waiting for. What came next was finally finding an approach that worked, and building a system she now hands directly to the coaches she works with 😊. One of the things I found most refreshing about this conversation is how clearly Nancy describes what's actually missing for most new coaches. It's not more training. It's the belief that they can do it, and then someone saying, here's the one strategy — now go do the reps. In this episode, we explore: ➤ What most coaching certification programmes leave out, and why so many newly qualified coaches can coach brilliantly but struggle to run a business ➤ The quarter-inch turn concept, and how Nancy uses energy work, NLP, and mindset coaching to help clients get out of their own way without cringing when they take action ➤ The Tiny Challenges strategy, a five-day one-on-one approach that builds know, like, and trust faster than funnels, webinars, or social media — and gets new coaches actually coaching from the start ➤ Why most new coaches have their first paying client within six weeks of working with Nancy, and what shifts when that first yes arrives This episode is for any newly certified coach who's been sitting on their coaching gift, waiting until things feel more ready.
