The You You Are: A Severance Podcast

I really like the fresh takes on this pod! Every idea they have is original and gets my mind thinking about this show in a different way. I loved the season 2 reviews that were not spoiled! 💖

This podcast is a lot of fun! If you want a Severance podcast with some nice banter, this is the one!

after season 2 ended, i've just been fiending for anything severance to sink my teeth into. i tried listening to several other podcasts and video series, but none of them hit the mark and always ended up being grating due to outlandish theories or just straight-up wrong interpretations. also they all had men in them. this is the only thing i've listened to and actually enjoyed, and no wonder because it's the only one run by two Black women. their banter is charming and i find myself agreeing with the vast majority of their analyses (something i could never say about any of the other things i watched/listened to) and even discovering some new things i had never noticed or thought about. their conversations are very grounded and they pull from their own individual background knowledge (primarily music and art) to explore the details. my only complaint is that they censor their curse words, something that eternally irks me wherever i find it—it always feels patronizing. severance is a show for adults that employs a lot of cursing and mature themes, so why is it not allowed in this podcast? where would they be losing money from by leaving them in? if they would, then i do understand. it's a small thing, but it still annoys me. regardless, i will not be docking them any stars as that's a personal grievance that has very little bearing on the content of the show itself. anyways, thank you ladies for a lovely podcast that is keeping me at least slightly satiated after the finale.

Sound quality is fair but is often distracting from the content. It sounds like the hosts are under water in a closet.
