    S2: EP 11 - Life is a Paradox.

Gaby opens up about the law of polarity and the balance that it brings. It’s through the darkness that we experience that we are able to see the light that exists in the world. It’s through the lows that you learn to appreciate the highs. And while there are no words that can heal when someone is in the midst of grief, it is through those losses that love can taste so bittersweet. The duality of life exists because it has to – it’s a law of the universe, it’s the way it all works. And hopefully this episode can bring you some solace in knowing this. Nothing in life is personal and we must all experience loss in one way or another, much like we will all experience death. Gaby recently finished “All About Love” by Bell Hooks and there’s a chapter about grief that brought her so much peace. Bell talks about how death is simply a part of life and how as a society we hold so much shame in expressing our grief. We apologize when we cry about missing a loved one who passed and instead of apologizing we must welcome this processing of grief. We should not be ashamed of having been touched by death. Rather, we should allow death to help us create the space to keep that person’s memory alive. And what a beautiful way that is to look at life. So listen in, you might just open your eyes to a new perspective. S2: EP 10 - Stepping into Myself

In today’s episode, Gaby updates everyone on the books she’s been reading and the mindset shifts that have come along with them. She has been opening herself up more to life and leaning into the unknown. It’s the unknown that can be such a scary and unpredictable place, but it’s through this that she has realized that the unknown can also be a very safe place to be. Our nervous systems show us the programs that we are running subconsciously. She has been understanding her old beliefs systems and learning to rewire them into new beliefs that benefit the person she is meant to be. Currently, her biggest block was money. That’s a pretty common block for most people. She’s been trying to understand why she believed that she had to work hard for money and that she couldn’t monetize her art. These were old beliefs that were programmed and projected onto her at a very young age. Now it’s easy to find examples in which we see where people don’t have to work hard for money or where people have big success in the arts. But while we can acknowledge these on a conscious level, it’s the subconscious that shows us how we feel at our very core. So listen in, I’m sure there’s a few things you can take away from today’s episode. And we’re hoping one of them is to get out of your own way. 🫶🏽 Follow Gaby on socials: Gaby on Instagram Gaby on TikTok Follow the WTFIW Podcast on socials: WTFIW on Spotify WTFIW on Apple WTFIW on Instagram WTFIW on TikTok
