Healing Through Creativity with Dani Fankhauser

Welcome back Whisper Seekers, Have you ever had an idea that just wouldn't leave you alone? Maybe it was writing a book, starting something new, changing careers, learning something new, or simply becoming the person you know you're meant to be. That quiet little whisper keeps showing up... but so do the doubts, the fear, and the endless thoughts of "What if I'm not ready?" Today's conversation is for you. I'm joined by author, energy healer, meditation teacher, and creative guide Dani Fankhauser. Dani is someone who beautifully blends intuition, creativity, and self-trust in a way that will leave you looking at your own dreams a little differently. We dive into what it really takes to write a book—not just putting words on a page, but moving through perfectionism, healing old stories, trusting your intuition, and giving yourself permission to create something before you know exactly how it's all going to turn out. We also talk about energy healing, meditation, subconscious creativity, the Akashic Records, childhood dreams, and why so many of us wait for someone else to give us permission to begin. What I love most about Dani is that she reminds us that creativity isn't reserved for artists or authors. It's something every single one of us carries. Whether you're writing a novel, starting a new dream, opening a business, painting a canvas, raising a family, or simply trying to become a little more yourself, your creativity is asking to be heard. So if you've been feeling a whisper lately... maybe this conversation is exactly the confirmation you've been waiting for. Let's welcome, Dani Fankhauser.   When she quit my job to write a novel in 2021, she had an emotional breakdown on week one. And quickly learned that the productivity skills she learned in my career as a journalist and startup founder no longer applied. The breakdown nudged her into an accidental spiritual awakening, and study of meditation, energy healing, manifestation, astrology, and intuition. She began applying mystical practices to her writing routine, and concluded that imagination and intuition travel on the same channel. Now, it’s her goal to make the mystical—mainstream. Her work is to teach artists and entrepreneurs to heal the inner critic so they can align with their creative force.     Dani Fankhauser Website https://www.danifankhauser.com/?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGn_UeUePcOlqAJDZLqfCq3sf8nh400vOB1Wch2EIrvqOHlBf--TH9g1wiv6Q8_aem_J1cihxwBja9m-et3JRYWGQ Instagram https://www.instagram.com/danifankhauser Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/self-trust/id1314823369 The Sea Quill https://www.instagram.com/theseaquill_/

One Small Step Can Change Everything with Candace Dunaway

Welcome back, What's That Whisper Today's conversation is one that I think so many of us need to hear—especially if you have a dream tucked away in a drawer somewhere. I'm joined once again by my friend Candace, host of the Spiritual Cupcake Podcast. What starts as a conversation about her first day of summer break quickly unfolds into something much deeper. We talk about creativity, trusting your timing, and what happens when you finally dust off a project that's been quietly waiting for you. Candace shares the beautiful story behind her upcoming children's book and how a classroom full of students reminded her that sometimes all it takes is one little sign to know it's time to keep going. We also dive into why community matters, why passion will always outlast perfection, and how the smallest steps often lead to the biggest transformations. If you've been waiting for permission to write the book, start the business, learn the instrument, launch the podcast, or simply follow that quiet whisper inside of you, I hope this conversation reminds you that you don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to take the next step. So grab your favorite cup of coffee, settle in, and let's jump into this inspiring conversation with Candace.       Spiritual Cupcake Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-spiritual-cupcake-podcast/id1562846826 Mild Side of Wild youtube.com/watch?v=vjIo5Qs7LcY Instagram https://www.instagram.com/candacedanielledunaway/   What's that Whisper Shop and links https://www.whatsthatwhisper.com/ https://linktr.ee/whatsthatwhisper?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGngepzO2lMwOBO0QRYYo2L9mZ-YX3U0KEmplwNxWNrtLlE1a1mZVgB2O4Yx7E_aem_m5QTQ318c4i8o4uoyKlFaQ

The Whisper Beneath the Weight with Lizzie Merritt

Hello, Whisper Seekers! I’m so happy you’re here because today’s episode is a little different—and a lot of fun. I recently had the chance to do a podcast swap with Lizzie Merritt, host of the Confident Body Podcast. Instead of the traditional interview where one person asks all the questions, we took turns interviewing each other. You'll hear us getting curious, sharing our stories, and diving into conversations that connect our work in ways neither of us expected. Lizzie is a weight loss coach, but don’t let that title fool you. This conversation isn’t just about food or the number on a scale. It’s about the stories we tell ourselves, the shame so many of us carry, the science behind our habits, and why lasting change starts with self-compassion instead of self-criticism. Along the way, we also explore something that’s at the heart of What’s That Whisper—learning to listen to those quiet nudges that invite us to grow. Whether your whisper is about improving your health, writing a book, starting a something new, taking a dance class, or simply believing in yourself again, you’ll hear how tiny, intentional steps can lead to incredible transformation. I especially loved talking about the idea that we don’t have to wait until we “arrive” to feel enough. We can be growing, becoming, and still appreciate who we are today. Settle in as Lizzie and I ask each other thoughtful questions, challenge a few old beliefs, and remind each other—and hopefully you—that sometimes the quietest whispers have the most to say. Let’s get started.   Lizzie Merritt is the host of The Confident Body Podcast a Confident Body Coach and an author of "Light" and "You are a Miracle"   The Confident Body podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-confident-body-podcast-brain-based-strategies/id1660747704 Sustack coachlizziemerritt https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-confident-body-podcast-brain-based-strategies/id1660747704https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-confident-body-podcast-brain-based-strategies/id1660747704   Lizzie’s Books https://www.amazon.com/You-Are-Miracle-Lose-Weight-ebook/dp/B0BHF5S89B/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G94BRJQ4       What’s that Whisper Shop https://www.whatsthatwhisper.com/?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGnE1AuRdh54RjJOCRL8ERbXJg6_vfopImDsjATg-MrNjcCrPa2vsfCKCqHDaQ_aem_FwcsHzYArSC7nmBLNzXRnw   Instagram    Linktree https://linktr.ee/whatsthatwhisper?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGn1ZQK6-9S-KlKgcvJe4TgCWQUuWMIf3g1fBoG_cK0YyTzk7GrI02FVXaqbWw_aem_FkFZIFkJG8g24sCptY6mDg   Write a WTW review  https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/trailer/id1790019215?i=1000710636501

From Overthinking to Action with Arielle Leavitt

Welcome back Whisper Seekers, Sometimes the biggest changes in our lives don’t begin with a loud announcement. They begin with a quiet whisper that keeps showing up until we’re finally ready to listen. In this heartfelt conversation, Arielle Leavitt and I explore what it really means to trust those inner nudges, even when the path isn’t completely clear. We talk about the fears that keep us stuck, the stories we tell ourselves, and how taking one small step often opens doors we never could have planned. Throughout our conversation, we dive into: Learning to trust yourself before you have all the answers. Why overthinking keeps us disconnected from our intuition. The courage it takes to follow a whisper instead of waiting for certainty. How tiny, consistent actions create incredible transformation over time. Giving yourself permission to begin before you feel “ready.” One of my favorite parts of this conversation is the reminder that our whispers aren’t asking us to have the entire roadmap figured out—they’re simply asking us to take the next step. Arielle brings such a grounded and encouraging perspective to this conversation. Through her work, she helps people reconnect with themselves, move through life’s transitions with more confidence, and create lives that feel aligned with who they truly are. Her gentle approach reminds us that healing, growth, and purpose don’t have to feel overwhelming—they can begin with one simple choice. If you’d like to connect with Arielle, learn more about her work, or continue following her journey, be sure to visit the links in today’s show notes and connect with her on social media. Whether you’re standing at the beginning of something new, questioning your next chapter, or simply trying to hear your own voice a little more clearly, this episode is a beautiful reminder that your whispers have been guiding you all along. So take a deep breath, quiet the noise, and come listen with us. Your next whisper may be closer than you think.   Arielle Leavitt https://www.instagram.com/yourbossyfriend.arielle/   https://yourbossyfriend.substack.com/?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGnQVnmZ0gB1lf_-Vlu3ka1FQf1NqQIC-Z8HxiRf0LuTxv38mv8eGGHvU9Bz9I_aem_9k2ilOk7Ov-jYsnhAush9w&utm_id=97760_v0_s00_e0_tv3   https://yourbossyfriend.com/?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGnkRnflMe3sLG-F-7UYoICW2lubCC_r-N19aHP98qzbM32Db9VrHB-oqDav7I_aem_sq49C2aobT3Jd-aSFv0rzg   https://www.instagram.com/ripplenetworkingapp/   https://linktr.ee/ripple.app?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGnWCf5zUts3lxYykGMGr7jBE4gMqrfiHTFwL7U6jWu82hNLKyQopF--um4hgQ_aem_PTOknhp0BTGitnUXZfwlow   What's that Whisper Shop https://www.whatsthatwhisper.com/   Linktree https://linktr.ee/whatsthatwhisper?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPOTM2NjE5NzQzMzkyNDU5AAGngepzO2lMwOBO0QRYYo2L9mZ-YX3U0KEmplwNxWNrtLlE1a1mZVgB2O4Yx7E_aem_m5QTQ318c4i8o4uoyKlFaQ

Welcome back, What's That Whisper I'm so happy you're here because today's conversation is one of those that reminds me why I absolutely love having friends on the podcast. My guest today is the incredible Jacqueline Van Bier—also known as Pink Star. She's a singer, songwriter, podcast host, creative spirit, and someone who has lived a life that honestly sounds like it belongs in a movie. Every conversation with Jacqueline takes unexpected turns, leaves me thinking a little deeper, and usually inspires me to look at life from a completely different perspective. In this episode, we talk about everything from escaping East Germany in search of freedom, to finding her voice as an artist, building a music career, writing songs for television, embracing creativity, quieting the noise of the world, and learning to trust those little whispers that guide us toward what's next. Trusting Yourself

Welcome back to What’s That Whisper? I’m Heather, and I’m so glad you’re here. Have you ever noticed how the things we don’t finish seem to follow us around? They quietly sit in the back of our minds, taking up space, reminding us they’re still waiting. Sometimes it’s a project, sometimes it’s a phone call, and sometimes it’s a dream we’ve been meaning to start for years. Today’s episode is about something I’ve been noticing in my own life. It started with cleaning a room that had been on my mind for months, but what I realized had very little to do with organizing. It had everything to do with trust. Trusting ourselves to follow through. Trusting ourselves to make time for what matters. And trusting that our dreams don’t happen all at once—they happen one small decision at a time. We’ll talk about why the little things we keep putting off can quietly drain our energy, why creating momentum matters more than waiting for motivation, and how taking one intentional step can change the way you approach every area of your life. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like your to-do list is louder than your inner voice, I hope today’s conversation helps you breathe a little deeper, trust yourself a little more, and remember that you already have everything you need to begin. So grab your favorite drink, settle in, and let’s listen to the whispers within.   https://www.instagram.com/whatsthatwhisper?igsh=czZ3ZTdiYmVrZ2Vm&utm_source=qr
