    Clarity Creates Consistency

If you've ever found yourself saying, "I just need to be more consistent," this episode is for you. Consistency matters. It changes lives. Small actions repeated over time create incredible results. But what if the thing standing in the way of your consistency isn't a lack of discipline? What if it's a lack of clarity? In this episode, we're talking about the connection between clarity and consistency. When you're clear about what you want, why it matters, and what actions will move you forward, consistency becomes much easier. Whether you're working on your health, your relationships, your faith, or building a coaching practice, clarity may be the missing piece. Episode Summary Many women assume they have a consistency problem when what they really have is a clarity problem. When we're unclear about what we want, we become overwhelmed. We hesitate. We overthink. We second guess ourselves. Then we label ourselves inconsistent. In this episode, I walk through how clarity creates focus, reduces overwhelm, and makes consistent action easier. You'll learn how to get clear on what you want, identify the actions that actually matter, and build momentum through small consistent steps. Whether you're working on weight loss, improving relationships, growing your faith, or cultivating a coaching practice, this episode will help you take a practical look at what may be keeping you stuck. Key Takeaways • Consistency is essential, but clarity often comes first. • Confusion creates overwhelm and overwhelm leads to inaction. • You cannot intentionally move toward something you haven't clearly identified. • Getting clear on what you want allows you to identify the actions that matter most. • Clarity helps eliminate distractions and focus your energy. • Consistency creates evidence that you can trust yourself. • Evidence builds confidence. • Confidence builds momentum. • Consistency should come before intensity. • Small, consistent actions create transformation over time. Encouragement You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Start by getting clear about what you want. Then take the next right step. Not perfectly. Not dramatically. Just consistently. God often works through the ordinary, faithful steps we take over and over again. The Lie That Entrepreneurship Means You Have to Work All the Time | A Conversation with Lisa Herbstreit

This conversation is part of our Identity Series focused on uncovering the hidden lies that shape our lives and learning how to replace them with truth. Lisa shares her journey from corporate accounting into the world of coaching, the fears that kept her from pursuing entrepreneurship, and how God gently led her toward a new possibility. We talk about fear, courage, renewing the mind, evidence gathering, stewardship, calling, and learning to trust God with the next step instead of demanding certainty before moving. In This Episode You'll Learn: • How hidden beliefs can quietly direct your decisions for years • Why your brain naturally gathers evidence for whatever you already believe • The difference between fear-based decision making and faith-filled action • How God often confirms the direction He is leading you through unexpected opportunities • Why courage is rarely the absence of fear • How entrepreneurship can support your life instead of consuming it • What it looks like to steward your gifts instead of hiding behind excuses • How renewing your mind helps you recognize and challenge limiting beliefs A Final Encouragement You do not have to keep living from a story simply because you've believed it for a long time. A lie repeated often enough can feel true, but that doesn't make it true. Start paying attention to the stories running underneath your decisions. Ask yourself if they are actually true. Then begin gathering evidence for what God says instead. One renewed thought at a time can change everything. If this episode encouraged you, share it with a friend who may be feeling stuck behind a story that no longer serves her. And if you're ready for deeper support in renewing your mind and becoming the woman God created you to be, I'd love to work with you through coaching, Steadfast, or one of my upcoming programs. Who Are You Becoming? The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Everyone has a story. A story about childhood, relationships, successes, disappointments, and painful experiences. But what if the most important part of your story isn't what happened to you? What if it's the meaning you've attached to what happened? In this episode, we're talking about identity, healing, and the powerful truth that your wounds are not your identity. God is in the business of redemption, and your past does not get the final word. Episode Summary Many of us are carrying identity statements we never intentionally chose. "I'm not enough.""I always quit.""I'm unlovable.""I can't change." These beliefs often grow out of real experiences, real pain, and real circumstances. But over time, they can become the lens through which we see ourselves and our future. In this episode, Shanna explores the difference between what happened to us and who we are. You'll learn how identity is formed, how stories become self-fulfilling, and how God invites us into transformation through the renewing of our minds. Key Takeaways • Events happen. Then we assign meaning to them. • Painful experiences are real, but they do not define your identity. • Victim may describe an experience, but it was never meant to become a permanent identity. • The stories we tell ourselves influence our thoughts, emotions, actions, and results. • Identity drives behavior. • God specializes in redemption, not erasure. • Your past may explain parts of your story, but it does not determine your future. • One of the most powerful questions you can ask is: "Who am I becoming?" You are more than the worst thing that happened to you. Your story matters. Your healing matters. But your wounds do not get the final word. God does. If this episode resonated with you, grab your journal and work through the reflection questions. Then share this episode with a friend who needs the reminder that transformation is possible. Journal Questions: What story do I tell most often about my life? What labels have I accepted about myself? Which of those labels came from painful experiences? Do those labels align with what God says about me? Who do I believe God is helping me become?

How to Stop Living From Lies | Practicing Truth and Renewing Your Mind

In this final episode of The Lies We Believe series, we’re bringing everything together. This episode explores: how lies become emotional and behavioral patterns the protection strategies many women unknowingly live from why these patterns affect relationships, self-care, leadership, and emotional maturity how to identify the lies operating underneath the surface how to separate facts from the stories you tell about them how to begin replacing lies with truth through intentional practice This is not about perfection. This is about renewal, repetition, and learning to live from truth one thought at a time. Key Takeaways Lies eventually become behaviors and coping patterns Many “personality traits” are actually practiced protection strategies Protection and connection often pull in opposite directions You cannot change vague shame. You must name the lie clearly There is a difference between facts and the interpretation you assign to them Truth often feels unfamiliar because lies have been practiced longer Renewing your mind is repetitive, intentional, emotional, spiritual, and practical Identity shifts through repeated aligned action You do not become free from lies by thinking differently one time. You become free by practicing truth repeatedly until it becomes more familiar than the lies. Every time you interrupt a lie and replace it with truth, you are changing. Your Brain Is Looking for Proof | Why the Lie Feels True

In this episode of The Christian Life Coach Podcast, we’re talking about why the lies we believe feel so convincing. Once we begin questioning a lie, our brain immediately responds:“Yeah, but look at all the evidence.” This episode explores: how your brain searches for proof of what you already believe why practiced thoughts become convincing how shame-based beliefs reinforce themselves the connection between thoughts, feelings, actions, and results how to intentionally begin gathering evidence for truth instead of lies This is not about denial, fake positivity, or “manifesting.” This is about renewing your mind intentionally and learning to agree with truth instead of automatically agreeing with fear, shame, insecurity, and false identity. Key Takeaways Your brain is constantly scanning for evidence to support existing beliefs Familiar thoughts feel convincing, but familiar does not equal true Identity lies shape what you notice and what you ignore Painful experiences are real, but the meaning assigned to them matters Thoughts create emotional and behavioral reinforcement cycles Renewing your mind is intentional, not passive You can practice looking for evidence of truth, growth, courage, connection, and God’s faithfulness You are going to find evidence for whatever story you keep rehearsing. So the question is not:“Can I find proof?”The question is:“What am I committed to proving?” 💜 Next Steps: Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! You Are Not Broken- Identity Lies Christian Women Believe

In this second episode of The Lies We Believe series, we’re going deeper into identity lies and the beliefs many women quietly carry about themselves. Lies like: I don’t belong I’m not lovable I’m broken There’s something wrong with me These thoughts don’t just affect your emotions. They shape your relationships, your confidence, your habits, your leadership, your boundaries, and how you show up in the world. In this episode, we talk about: Where identity lies often come from Why repeated thoughts start feeling true How practiced thinking creates patterns in the brain Why you are not broken What scripture says about your identity How to begin replacing lies with truth This episode is honest, practical, faith-rooted, and deeply personal. Key Takeaways Identity lies are often formed early through repeated experiences, rejection, criticism, comparison, and pain Familiar thoughts are not automatically true Practiced thinking creates emotional and behavioral patterns You will struggle to act consistently against the identity you believe you have Your identity cannot safely be rooted in your past, emotions, mistakes, or other people’s opinions God designed you for renewal, growth, and transformation Humility is agreeing with God, not agreeing with lies about yourself You can practice new ways of thinking and create new pathways of truth You do not have to keep agreeing with thoughts that are keeping you stuck. You are not broken. And you do not need to become a different person overnight. You just need to begin noticing the identity you’ve been rehearsing and start practicing truth on purpose. If this episode resonated with you, schedule a Right Fit Call through the show notes. Let’s talk about what it would look like to work through these patterns together in coaching. 💜 Next Steps: Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends!
