    Episode 10: Teuchitlán.

New Podcast Episode: The Tragedy of Rancho Izaguirre A new episode of the De die in diem commentary podcast is now available. This time, we discuss the shocking discovery of an alleged extermination site at Rancho Izaguirre, Teuchitlán, Jalisco. Mothers searching for their missing loved ones found evidence of brutal violence, contradicting a previous failed intervention by authorities. The government’s response? Denial, blame-shifting to past administrations (despite clear evidence to the contrary), and narratives that attempt to discredit the findings. The lack of surveillance at the site and the alignment of official statements with criminal narratives suggest a deeper complicity—one that underscores the failure of Mexico’s current security policies. Episode 8: War on Mexico

Podcast Episode Description: In this episode, we explore the potential escalation of CIA involvement in Mexico’s fight against drug trafficking. With increasing U.S. aerial surveillance at the border and claims of Mexico losing territorial control, the Mexican government—led by President Sheinbaum—may respond with symbolic resistance and expanded lawsuits against American gun manufacturers. We discuss the broader implications of unilateral U.S. actions on bilateral cooperation and political stability in Mexico, particularly in light of past warnings about a possible drug war. No matter how the Mexican government reacts, the political consequences could be profound.

The works of Alberto Manguel and Roberto Calasso are mentioned, which analyze the relationship between language, creation, and the interpretation of texts, including the possibility of understanding images without understanding the written text. The discussion focuses on the comparison of the existence of an AI with the right to life and the legal implications that this would have. Finally, the need for a legislative change to avoid possible conflicts is raised.
