The Great Reset: Niti Shastra Decodes Middle East Conflict, Supply Chains & the Rise of Multipolar World Order

We are currently watching the absolute failure of Western geopolitical strategy unfold in real-time. In this episode of the Niti Shastra podcast, we cut through the sanitized mainstream narratives and dissect the disastrous, cascading fallout of the 2026 Middle East conflict. This isn’t just a regional flare-up; it is the death rattle of the international rules-based order and a profound “Suez Moment” for American hegemony. The American-Israeli military apparatus operated on a deeply flawed, arrogant assumption: they believed that decapitating Iranian leadership and applying crushing sanctions would cause the nation to fold like Venezuela. Instead, the assassinations of key figures backfired spectacularly. The IRGC didn’t collapse; it decentralized, radicalized, and unleashed asymmetric, horizontal swarm tactics that left a crippled US military staring down a topographical nightmare they refer to as the “Vietnam Canyon.” This sheer tactical incompetence has completely broken global supply chains. We trace the mathematical reality of the Strait of Hormuz chokepoint, where crude throughput has been strangled from 15 million barrels per day down to a suffocating 4.5 mbpd. With Brent crude touching highs of $120 per barrel in past month, we look at the countdown of the “Clocks” of global supply buffers and the severe depletion of US munitions including the firing of 3,100 Tomahawks that has left Washington scrambling to defend its allies. We cover a vast paradigm of issues as to pretext of the conflict and the flawed assumptions on which basis it was launched on February 28th, 2026. How various strategies & fronts war-gamed by America & Israel unravelled turning this into a battle of attrition. In this podcast we trace why America failed to win this conflict a various clocks which exposed the limitations of American military & strategy. From Crude, SPR, Cushing clock to US Bond Yields to Yen Carry Trade & JGB, to Munitions & Markets to Midterms & Israeli elections. But the physical war is only half the story. The resulting energy shock slammed head-first into a catastrophic $40 trillion US sovereign debt wall. High, sticky inflation is threatning to blown up the Treasury yield curve, matching the systemic panic markers of the 2008 Great Financial Crisis. The Federal Reserve is trapped in a bind whether to cut rates & do YCC in an AI race with China or hike rates to control inflation that could pop up AI bubble. We break down how this combination of weaponized Dollar and military overextension has accelerated the irreversible rise of a multipolar order. From the Bank of Japan being forced to hike rates ato the UAE actively seeking seaplanes from US, the tectonic plates have shifted. Regional alliances are shifting dramatically as Iran rises as a regional power having retained its leverage over Hormuz after Versailles surrender by United States in the MoU. The Petro-Yuan trade in Tehran Loop and Rupee-Rouble trade settlement in Delhi Loop are no longer theoretical they are actively challenging the Petro-Dollar. The world is pivoting towards Cold War 2.0, with bifurcation of supply chains. Join us as we decode the geopolitical blunders in the Middle East Conflict with data points, the macroeconomic fallout, and the definitive decline of the Pax Americana and rise of a multipolar world order. Persian Gulf War & The Supply Chain Disruption

In this Audio Podcast (Space on X) with Navroop Singh, Himja Parekh & Siddharth Sharma , we break down one of the most critical geopolitical flashpoints of our time i.e. American Israel war against Iran in 2026 & the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and its far-reaching consequences on the global economy, supply chains, and power structures. Often described as the world’s most important oil chokepoint, Hormuz carries nearly a fifth of global oil trade and a significant share of LNG flows. But what happens when that artery is disrupted? We begin by unpacking the first-order effects: immediate shocks to oil, gas, and fertilizer supply chains, and how countries like India, China, and Europe scramble to secure alternatives. The conversation then expands into second-order consequences, where industrial ecosystems from petrochemicals and textiles to semiconductors and automobiles begin to fracture under rising costs and shortages. The episode then dives deeper into third-order effects, exploring how inflation spikes, central banks react, and why this crisis is fundamentally different from the 1973 oil embargo. We examine the risks of bond market instability, liquidity squeezes, and the potential bursting of asset bubbles in sectors like AI and technology. Finally, we explore the military and geopolitical dimension how Iran’s asymmetric warfare strategy, China’s rare earth dominance, and shifting alliances across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia are reshaping the global order. This episode offers a comprehensive, data-driven perspective on how a single chokepoint could redefine economics, warfare, and geopolitics in the 21st century. It covers following points: Persian Gulf war & Closure of Strait of Hormuz First Order Effects: - Supply Chains - LNG (US), Canada, Argentina, Brazil - Oil - Russia & Iran, Sanctions Regime - Cuba Blockade - Fertilisers - Saudi Arabia, Qatar, US, Russia & China - India importers - Impact on Food Supply Chains sowing season Second Order Effects on Industrial Supply Chains & Manufacturing: - Petrochemicals, Textiles, Plastics, Rubbers, Packaging - Helium - Semiconductors -Tech Ecosystem - Electronics & Auto Sector Third Order Effects & Why its not 1973 Embargo: - Higher energy prices, Inflation, Rate Hikes - Liquidity Squeeze - GCC Economies Impacted - Comparisons to Past, - Printing in High Inflation - Bond Market Breaks - If you dont print, hike rates AI Bubble Pops Impact on Military & Geo Politics: - US MIC hit - Chinese rare earth advantage - AI investment. Pakistan: The Nursery Of Terrorism

In this episode, we explore the transformation of Pakistan into the epicenter of global terrorism in the years following 9/11. What began as a tactical retreat by Al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters turned into a full-fledged resurgence, with North and South Waziristan becoming the launchpads for militancy across Afghanistan and Pakistan. By 2006–07, the Taliban were regaining ground in Helmand, Kandahar, and Zabul, while Al-Qaeda embedded itself deep within Pakistan’s tribal belt. We take listeners through the critical turning points that shaped this trajectory: Dick Cheney’s 2007 visit to Islamabad, the breakdown of peace agreements with Taliban warlords, and the emergence of Lal Masjid in Islamabad as a symbol of radical defiance in the heart of Pakistan’s capital. The siege of Lal Masjid, Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, and the National Reconciliation Ordinance exposed the fragile nexus of politics, intelligence, and militancy. The episode also covers how disillusioned Pakistani military officers defected to join jihadist movements, bringing with them not only battlefield skills but also sophisticated insurgency strategies. This paved the way for Al-Qaeda’s grand designs from targeting NATO supply lines to orchestrating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, aimed at provoking an India–Pakistan war. We unravel how global jihadist ideology, Pakistan’s domestic politics, and regional rivalries combined to create an enduring cycle of violence. More than just history, this story explains why Pakistan continues to be viewed as the “nursery of terrorism” and why its militant legacy remains central to South Asia’s security challenges today. The India Growth Story

Namaskar, We bring podcast on The DD India article titled "The India Growth Story" authored by Navroop Singh, that outlines the remarkable journey of India’s economic rise, positioning it as the world’s fifth-largest economy with a GDP of $3.72 trillion. It highlights how India’s economic composition has evolved, with the services sector now contributing over half of the GDP, followed by industry and a declining share from agriculture. With a strategic target of achieving a $5 trillion economy by 2025, the government is focusing on boosting manufacturing to comprise 25% of GDP. The article emphasizes India’s global standing in purchasing power parity and its growing economic influence across sectors. The narrative also delves into key policy initiatives that have accelerated this growth trajectory, including "Make in India," "Atma Nirbhar Bharat," and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes. These reforms are designed to attract foreign investment, increase domestic manufacturing, and foster self-reliance, especially in sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. With over ₹95,000 crore in investments already mobilized under the PLI schemes, the article presents a forward-looking view of India’s ambition to become a manufacturing powerhouse, underpinned by structural reforms and strategic vision. Falun Gong: China’s Silent War on Faith

Namaskar, In today’s episode “Falun Gong: China’s Silent War on Faith” , we dive into one of the most controversial narratives pushed by the Chinese Communist Party that Falun Gong, the spiritual practice banned in China since 1999, is secretly backed by the CIA. While Falun Gong has indeed been vocal against the CCP's authoritarianism and has built a powerful diaspora network through media and advocacy, there is no credible evidence proving any formal or covert ties to the CIA or other intelligence agencies. Chinese state propaganda routinely claims Falun Gong is a tool of American destabilization, but these accusations appear more like ideological smears than fact-based allegations. Falun Gong itself continues to deny any government ties, maintaining its identity as a spiritual discipline focused on truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. We also explore how Falun Gong’s global outreach especially through platforms like The Epoch Times and Shen Yun has led to growing perceptions in China that it’s part of a larger anti-communist coalition. While their goals often align with U.S. critiques of the Chinese regime, this doesn’t imply CIA coordination. In fact, independent investigations and scholarly reports repeatedly find no evidence of operational backing. What we see is a grassroots resistance movement that, due to the brutality of its repression, has naturally found allies in human rights circles and Western democracies. The real story here is not covert espionage, but how personal faith collided with a totalitarian state and sparked a global moral and political response.
