    The Backward Review for Resilience - Ep. 238 of The MultiDimensional MD

    If you haven't noticed, I love to delve into the esoteric, the depths of our human existence, and soul meaning behind our thoughts, words, and actions. Plus, I love to figure out ways to take these deep dives safely, effectively, and practically.  Today, I'll review another quick multidimensional tool that was recommended by Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and social reformer (founder of the Waldorf schools and biodynamic agriculture.) This 4-minute tool is called the Backward Review. In essence, you review your day backwards, for even just four minutes. What this does is helps to  - boost memory - improve problem solving - foster resilience - form new neural pathways - create calm As Steiner said,  “To truly know the world, look deeply within your own being; to truly know yourself, take real interest in the world.” — Rudolf Steiner This is a practice that is used by psychologists, entrepreneurs, scientists, students, innovators, and more...  Let's take a look at some of the details of the Backward Review in today's podcast.

    We have been having a lot of fun in the practice exploring the amazing architecture of the body. The body has tensegrity, just like a balloon or the Epcot globe.     Ep. 233 - Solar Flares and Health

    Let's talk about the weather —in this case, the SOLAR WEATHER. If you've been feeling a bit off, there is a reason for it. The sun is currently in the peak of activity in its 11-year cycle. There have been recent sightings of aurora borealis or Northern Lights even in our neighborhoods here in the Southeast of the country.  The solar weather has been more intense with bigger solar flares and coronal mass ejections, which can create shifts in geomagnetic activity here on earth. Satellite communication, compasses, GPS, radio signals, power sources can all go wonky. We are also electro-magnetic beings, so what do this intense solar weather mean for our health?  Recent studies have shown that the solar weather does affect our health. I'll go over how in today's podcast.
