    Careers, Chameleons & Community Connections

This week we're learning that the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District is a whole lot more than the Career Center. Superintendent Steve Locke and Assistant Superintendent Amanda Kimball join us to talk about everything happening at the MOISD—from career and technical education to special education, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, creative opportunities for students, and the Career Center's upcoming 50th anniversary celebration. We also tackle the old “trades vs. college” debate and why it really doesn't have to be one or the other. Plus, the new Jim Crow Museum opens, High Strung Steel prepares to release an album, Big Rapids gets a bird walk, the theater is working on Screen 3, and a family of bears steals a Honda for popcorn.
