PARANORMAL SALAD: THE EMBER FILES Before the story changed, there was Jax Ember. The Ember Files is the permanent archive of the original Paranormal Salad timeline — the confessions, investigations, possessions, relationships, losses and supernatural events that shaped the first incarnation of Jax Ember. This is the home of The Ember Timeline, including Jax’s twenty-seven confessions and the events surrounding Karl, Clay, Vincente, Cole, Thorne, the Woman in the Closet, the Seventeenth Lock and the cases Paranormal Salad could never truly leave behind. These recordings chronicle a version of Jax whose life became increasingly entangled with forces he could not investigate from a safe distance. What began as paranormal investigation became confession. What became confession eventually became reckoning. Some files are investigations. Some are memories. Some are warnings. Together, they tell the complete story of the original Jax Ember. Paranormal Salad: The Ember Files is an original supernatural audio drama created by Robert Jerome Pagan and produced by RJPC Studios LLC Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/paranormal-salad-the-ember-files--6781131/support.

Karl — The Ember Files, Episode 7

Karl hated ghosts. When Jax Ember first met him in a church basement, Karl was supposed to be nothing more than the man behind the camera. Instead, he became the person who taught Jax that evidence could lie without being fake, that pancakes at midnight could count as a date, and that love did not always arrive carrying punishment with it. In Episode Seven of The Ember Files, Jax remembers the beginning of Karl: the investigations, the first kiss, the ordinary nights, and the strange little acts of love that slowly became home. And when Karl learns why Jax cannot sleep with a closet door closed, his solution is ridiculous, permanent, and exactly the kind of love Jax had never known how to trust. Before Karl became an empty chair, he was the man who made the darkness behave. THE EMBER FILES is a confessional supernatural audio drama from RJPC Studios, told by paranormal investigator and demonologist Jax Ember. Content advisory: strong language, religious trauma, references to abuse, sexuality, grief, and supernatural themes. Written and created by Robert Jerome Pagan. An RJPC Studios production. Sofia — Jax Ember’s Confession | The Ember Timeline Ep. 5

Sophia was not possessed when Jax Ember met her. That is where he has to begin, because for years he told the story backward. Before the investigations, before Paranormal Salad, before the evidence and the obsession, there was Sophia: funny, frightened, seeing a woman in her hallway that no one else could see. Jax promised he could help her. When the haunting escalated and Sophia needed him most, he ran. When Jax returned, the apartment was still sealed. The water was still there. Sophia’s belongings were still there. Sophia was not. In Episode 5 of Paranormal Salad: The Ember Timeline, Jax finally tells the story that shaped everything that followed—and confronts the promise he has spent the rest of his life trying to keep. The episode concludes with an original performance by Jax Ember, making his confession not just something he tells us, but something he sings. Content Advisory: Supernatural horror, disappearance, psychological distress, grief, and themes of guilt. THE EMBER TIMELINE 03: DANIEL

THE EMBER TIMELINE A Jax Ember Confession Before Karl. Before Clay. Before Cole. There was Daniel. In the third confession of The Ember Timeline, Jax goes back to the seminary and the first man who made desire feel ordinary instead of sinful. Daniel was the first person Jax loved while he was still being taught that loving another man could destroy him. There were stolen moments, bad food, quiet conversations, a first kiss, and eventually a choice. Daniel asked Jax to leave with him. Jax did not go. Years later, he still knows exactly what that decision cost. Episode 3 of 27. The Ember Timeline is a 27 part dramatic fiction event from Paranormal Salad and RJPC Studios Audio. New confessions every Tuesday Thursday and Halloween. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/paranormal-salad-the-ember-files--6781131/support.
