MKB girls talk IVF fertility treatment, coaching women and finding your calling with Beth O'Neill

Hello mamas! It's the last episode before the festive break and Tallulah and Sophie are joined by the incredible Beth O’Neill. Beth is an ICF-accredited coach and founder of Cahla (We Are Cahla) a coaching-first leadership company dedicated to helping women lead with purpose, presence and power. Her passion for supporting women grew even stronger after becoming a mum to her little boy, Fionn, in 2021. Returning to corporate coaching after maternity leave, Beth soon realised it was time to create something of her own: a business focused on supporting women in leadership and entrepreneurship, many of whom are navigating motherhood alongside their careers. Through her work as a speaker, coach, and facilitator, Beth creates safe, transformative spaces for women to connect, grow, and build unshakeable confidence. She equips them with the mindset and practical tools, using coaching as a foundation, to uncover their calling, increase their influence, and make a positive impact wherever they are. Beth has supported hundreds of women through executive coaching, team training, and her signature Women in Leadership Programme, working with women from organisations like Google DeepMind, Amazon, and The Salvation Army. As a female founder, Beth weaves in her love for family, faith, mental health, fitness, style and sustainable living, sharing her own experiences (including the highs and challenges of motherhood and fertility) to connect with and inspire other women. In this episode Beth discusses her IVF fertility treatment, how she empowers women and lends some incredible tips for balancing life, motherhood and work. MKB girls talk with our newest mama, Ella Mae Statham about OCD, art and dreamworlds

Hey mummas! Sophie and Tallulah are back on the podcast discussing birth, postpartum and OCD with the dreamy creative and mother, Ella Mae Statham.  Ella is an incredible multidisciplinary artist and designer known for her whimsical, dreamlike creations that blend storytelling and imagination. After studying Textiles Print Design at Central Saint Martins and working as a Creative Director, she turned redundancy into opportunity — launching her own creative practice to bring her “Dreamworld” aesthetic to life. Her work has featured in collaborations with Liberty London, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Spinning Plates podcast, Schweppes London, and Sky News. She’s created artwork for Bryony Gordon’s Mental Health Mates events and the OCD Awareness × Made of Millions Foundation, with pieces exhibited in Geneva. A lifelong doodler, Ella’s work celebrates curiosity, resilience and the belief that even in the everyday, there’s always room for a little magic. TW: OCD - We wanted to make all listeners aware before continuing that in this episode we discuss OCD. OCD stands for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, OCD is a mental health condition where people can experience intrusive, unwanted thoughts called obsessions. In some cases of OCD, people can feel driven to perform certain actions or rituals known as compulsions to ease the anxiety those thoughts bring. These thoughts can have no bearing on a person's reality. OCD isn’t about being neat or organized; it’s about feeling stuck in a loop your mind doesn’t want to let go of. In this episode, we’ll explore what that really means, share our own personal  experiences and talk to Ella about how she has navigated her OCD throughout pregnancy and motherhood so far. Please remember whilst listening that this is Ella’s lived experience and she has been very brave to share this with us. Please also remember that OCD can look completely different amongst patients. If you are struggling with OCD or know someone who is please seek help. Love MKB xxx As always, feel free to reach out to us, we'd love to know what you want to hear about on the podcast and our DMs are always open! MKB chat about tunes, love of the rave and redefining birth with Raw Silk DJ and The Bold Birth Coach founder, Steph Smith.

Tallulah and Sophie are back! This week we are joined by the legendary Steph Smith, one half of the Raw Silk DJ duo, mum and founder of new biz 'The Bold Birth Coach'.  Steph is wicked. She's honest, passionate and a real advocate for redefining a mother's birthing experience. In this episode, we discuss the shifting balance of priorities when becoming a mother, navigating the reality of working, parenting and carving out space for passions.  Steph spoke candidly about her own birthing experience and what led her to founding 'The Bold Birth Coach'. During her pregnancy, Steph dedicated a lot of time and energy into preparing herself for birth, both through a hypnobirthing course and her own research. It was this preparation and awareness that she believed helped her make informed decisions when it came to her own birth, despite her delivery being different from what she had planned.  Steph is a big advocate for women's health, informed decision-making and support and she, like many of us, found that there seemed to be something missing for a lot of women when it came to antenatal education. Steph trained with 'The Riot Birth Network' and upon founding 'The Bold Birth Coach', she aims to provide evidence-based support for women in their pregnancy and birth journey. We LOVED speaking with Steph and we hope you enjoy this episode! Much love,  MKB (Tallulah and Sophie) xxx As always feel free to reach out to us, we'd love to know what you want to hear about on the podcast and our DMs are always open!
