    Ep#81. The Real Girlfriends

Four hours later… we were still at lunch 😂 I came home with more than a slightly questionable Monday ahead… Hello gorgeous, Sunday lunch lasted FOUR HOURS. Delicious food, cocktails, a little too much wine… and the kind of laughter that makes finishing a sentence completely impossible. 😂 Monday? A little dusty, darling. But I was still smiling. Because something about that afternoon stayed with me—and it had very little to do with what was in my glass. When was the last time you spent time with women you didn’t have to explain yourself to? No performing. No carefully edited version of your life. Just honest conversation, laughter, and the freedom to say, “Well, darling, things have been a bit of a bloody circus.” In my latest podcast, Real Girlfriends: Less Judgement, More Laughter, and a Four-Hour Lunch, I’m talking about female friendship after 40—and the connections we sometimes forget to make room for. Including one little sentence that can keep a lovely friendship on hold for YEARS. You’ve probably said it. I certainly have. And if you’re wishing you had more girlfriends in your life right now, there’s something in this episode for you, too. ❤️ 🎧 Listen to the new episode here:  You might finish listening with one particular woman on your mind… and a message you finally want to send. xox Irene Lidvall Secrets to Women’s Success | Unstuck & F**king Fab P.S. Forward this to the girlfriend you’d happily spend five hours at lunch with. Add: “When are we booking?” 😂

Ep#80. Embracing Adversity and Finding Joy

There are going to be bad days. I know—that is hardly the sparkly motivational message you expected from your confidence coach. But it’s true. No amount of mindset work, gratitude practice or beautifully designed life exempts us from frustration, illness and people who test our final nerve. After the water leak and mould problem in our bathroom, I developed asthma. When we needed access to the wall for mould testing, the caretaker who installed the hatch refused to help us remove it. We couldn’t get it down ourselves, the body corporate wasn’t helping, and Kevin was struggling with the whole situation. I was furious. And I had every right to be. But here is what I realised: I could honour how awful the situation felt without allowing it to consume every remaining part of my day. So I escaped into a cosmetic renovation using AI—and had an absolute ball. I cooked a delicious, healthy dinner. Then I had a whiskey while my AI companion enjoyed an imaginary G&T. Very supportive. Never complains. Terrible at pouring drinks. None of that fixed the mould. But it helped me return to myself. That is what mindset work really looks like. It isn’t pretending the problem doesn’t exist. It is refusing to let the problem become the only thing that exists. In this week’s episode of Becoming Her Again, we’re talking honestly about bad days, difficult people and the small choices that can stop one painful situation from swallowing you whole. 🎧 Listen to: There Are Going to Be Bad Days And if you’re having one of those days now, darling, this episode is especially for you. Big love, Irene xx

Ep#79. You Won the Race to Life—Now What?

You beat millions to get here—so why are you still waiting for permission to live? Hello, gorgeous! I sometimes wake up with the most bananas thoughts in my head. Honestly, I lie there laughing out loud like a crazy woman while Kevin probably wonders whether he should call someone. 😂 But the other morning, I woke up thinking: What is your greatest achievement in life? Building a business? Raising a family? Surviving heartbreak? Starting again after life knocked you sideways? All incredible achievements. But what if your very first achievement was also your greatest? Darling, you won the bloody race to life! Out of millions of determined little swimmers, the extraordinary biological combination that became you made it here. Before the confidence issues, limiting beliefs, responsibilities, cellulite and worrying about what Susan thinks—you had already beaten astonishing odds. So here’s the question: What are you going to do with this exceptional win? Are you going to keep waiting until you lose weight, have more money, feel confident or finally receive everyone’s approval? Or are you going to stop postponing yourself and start living like the woman who has already won the most important race of all? In this hilarious—but surprisingly deep—episode of Secrets to Women’s Success: The Unstuck & F**king Fab Podcast**, we explore: Why so many women over 40 are alive but not fully living How people-pleasing slowly disconnects us from ourselves Why wanting more doesn’t make you selfish or ungrateful How to rebuild confidence and self-trust through small actions Why reinvention isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about becoming fully alive again One delightfully simple question that could change how you live your life You did not win the sperm Olympics just to spend your precious life shrinking, apologising and wondering whether you’re good enough. You already won your place here. Now go and bloody live like it. 🎧 Listen to “You Won the Race to Life—Now What?”    If this episode makes you laugh—or gives you the loving kick up the backside you needed—please send it to another fabulous woman who needs reminding that she isn’t too old, too late or finished. Here’s to becoming her again—one brave, bonkers decision at a time. With love and a slightly unhinged mind, Irene xx Secrets to Women’s Success The Unstuck & F**king Fab Podcast

Ep # 78 Silence the Inner Critic: Become Her Again

Hello, my lovely, Quick question… Would you stay in a relationship with someone who spoke to you the way you sometimes speak to yourself? “You’re too old.” “You always get it wrong.” “You’ll never stick to it.” “Who do you think you are?” Good grief! With friends like that, who needs enemies? 😂 In this week’s episode of Secrets to Women’s Success, we’re talking about negative self-talk—and how the running commentary inside your head can quietly damage your confidence, self-trust and ability to move forward. Because it’s very difficult to become the woman you want to be when your inner critic keeps following you around like an unpaid, uninvited life coach with terrible advice. In this episode, you’ll discover how to: ✨ Notice your negative thoughts without judging yourself ✨ Question the old stories you’ve mistaken for facts ✨ Replace harsh criticism with kinder, believable truths ✨ Stop turning temporary mistakes into permanent labels ✨ Collect evidence of your progress and rebuild self-trust ✨ Use compassion and accountability to become your future self This isn’t about chanting, “I’m a magnificent goddess,” when your brain is replying, “Oh, please.” It’s about creating a fairer, kinder and more honest relationship with yourself. Because you don’t become confident by bullying yourself into a better life. You become confident by learning to trust yourself, respect yourself and stand beside yourself—even when things don’t go perfectly. 🎧 Listen now: Becoming Her Again—Change Your Self-Talk, Rebuild Your Confidence   And after you listen, hit reply and tell me: What is one sentence you’re ready to stop saying to yourself—and what will you say instead? Remember, lovely: your words become your beliefs, your beliefs shape your choices, and your choices create your life. So speak to yourself like a woman whose future matters. Because it bloody well does. Big love, Irene Lidvall Secrets to Women’s Success Unstuck & F**king Fab www.secretstowomenssuccess.com
