    LET ME IN THERE

LET ME IN THERE | An Invitation to the Wounded Heart ❤️‍🩹 What do you do when you know God's promises, but your heart is still hurting? Sometimes we are so busy trying to understand what happened, why it happened, and what we could have done differently that we never give ourselves permission to acknowledge what the experience did to our hearts. In this week's episode of The Spark, Sandra C shares a deeply personal journey through grief, disappointment, closed doors, and unanswered prayers. In a moment of prayer, while describing a season that felt like being trapped in a room with no doors or windows, she felt God gently whisper, "Let Me in there." And that invitation changed her perspective. Sometimes we're asking God to show us the way out, while He's inviting us to let Him into the very place that's hurting. Together, we'll explore what it means to be honest with God about our heartbreak, to wait on Him while we're still wounded, and to find hope even when our hearts are struggling to understand. This episode is for the person who is still showing up, still believing, still praying, but silently hurting. Love, you don't have to hide your pain to prove your faith. God is near to the brokenhearted, and He can be trusted with the parts of your heart you haven't found the words to explain. Scripture References (ESV): Psalm 34:18 Psalm 42:5 Psalm 147:3 Proverbs 3:5–6 Isaiah 40:31 Psalm 139:13–14 Take a moment to breathe, be gentle with your heart, and invite God in. Because even in this, there is still hope. ❤️ 🎙️ Listen to The Spark Podcast:https://www.beautyforashesco.co/podcast Remember, we journey better together!

When You're Mad, You Can't See

Have you ever been so frustrated by what went wrong that you couldn't see what was still going right? In this week's episode of The Spark, Sandra C. shares a powerful lesson that started on the volleyball court with her children but became a personal reminder from God: "When you're mad, you can't see." Sometimes life doesn't go the way we planned. Whether it's our finances, marriage, parenting, career, or personal struggles, disappointment can cause us to focus so much on what went wrong that we lose sight of the opportunities, resources, and blessings still in front of us. But here's the reminder: The game is still going! Just because you missed a play doesn't mean you've lost the game. And just because life has taken an unexpected turn doesn't mean God has stopped working. In this heartfelt episode, we'll talk about: How frustration can blind us to what's still possible. Why one mistake or disappointment doesn't define your future. The importance of getting back to the basics of faith. How to stop viewing every difficult season as punishment. Finding renewed HOPE in God's promises, even when life feels unfair. Scripture References:Romans 8:1 | Genesis 50:20 Loves, this is your reminder to lift your head, get back in your pocket, and remember what God has already placed inside of you. Don't spend the whole game staring at the play you missed. The ball is coming back into your zone. Get ready! Because we're all on a road to becoming, and honestly, we journey better together. ❤️ 🎧 Listen to The Spark Podcast:https://www.beautyforashesco.co/podcast ✨ Connect with Beauty for Ashes Co.:https://www.beautyforashesco.co #TheSparkPodcast #SandraC #WhenYoureMadYouCantSee #FaithOverFrustration #ChristianEncouragement #GodIsStillWorking #HopeInGod #FaithJourney #RoadToBecoming #BeautyForAshes #ChristianPodcast #TrustGod #SpiritualGrowth #KeepGoing #FaithAndHope

    Nevertheless, Has Two Sides

What happens when what you "see" starts challenging what God "said"? While studying Deuteronomy 1, I noticed something about the children of Israel that made me stop: they had a, nevertheless. God told them the land was good. He told them He had given it to them. He told them to go and possess it. Nevertheless… there were giants. And suddenly, what they saw became greater in their minds than what God had spoken. But what if they had simply moved their nevertheless? There are giants… nevertheless, God said the land is ours. In this week's episode of The Spark, we're talking about how nevertheless has two sides—and depending on where you place it, it can become the language of either your fear or your faith. We'll also talk about how fear can operate like a shadow. A shadow can appear larger than the actual object, but here's the thing: you cannot have a shadow without light. The presence of the shadow doesn't mean the Light has disappeared. Sometimes we need to remember the victories God has given us. But sometimes we also need to remember the places where we allowed fear to lead us before—not to condemn ourselves, but so we can choose differently when we're standing in front of another giant. Maybe the situation is real. Maybe the loss is real. Maybe the uncertainty is real. Maybe you don't understand God's method. Nevertheless, I believe God. 🎧 Join me for this week's Spark as we learn to move our nevertheless to the other side. Same giant. Same shadow. Different authority. Because loves, we journey better together.

    I Have a Confession

What happens when God brings you into a new season, but you don't really know how to operate there? In this week's episode of The Spark, Sandra makes a confession: I don't really know how to be in this space of my life. After God told her it was time to go, so much of what was familiar began to change. The position changed. The environment changed. The responsibilities changed. And when the constant doing became quiet, God began revealing something deeper—somewhere along the way, it became easy to recognize His presence through working, serving, being needed, and being productive. But what happens when God isn't asking you to do more? What happens when He's asking you to simply be with Him? While studying Deuteronomy 4 and God's warning to Israel about creating carved images, Sandra was confronted with a personal question: Have I created an image of what God's presence is supposed to look like based on how He moved in my previous season? In this deeply personal episode, we'll talk about the idols that don't always look like idols—productivity, position, people's approval, being needed, and even the familiar ways we've experienced God before. We'll also talk about the distractions we sometimes reach for when life gets too quiet and God begins asking us to sit with the things busyness helped us avoid. And through it all, we're discovering something beautiful: love for free. The kind of love you don't have to perform for.The kind of love you don't have to earn. The kind of love that reminds you that before you accomplish another thing, you are already His. Main Scripture:📖 Deuteronomy 4:15–16 ✨ Affirmation I do not have to perform to be loved. I do not have to be needed to be valuable. I release the image of who I thought I had to be, and I receive who God says I am. I am His, and I can rest in that truth. If you're in a quiet or unfamiliar season, struggling to recognize God because life doesn't look the way it used to, this episode is for you. Maybe God isn't absent. Maybe He's teaching you how to recognize Him differently. 🎧 Listen now to I Have a Confession and continue the journey with us—because honestly, we journey better together. 🌿 Listen here:https://www.beautyforashesco.co/podcast

    STRIKE: Lean Into His Presence

STRIKE: Praying Through Disappointment | Part 4 What do you do when you've already prayed, already cried, and you've run out of words? In this week's episode of The Spark, we're slowing down to discover something many of us overlook in the middle of disappointment: God's presence. Sometimes we spend so much energy asking God to remove the valley that we miss the fact that He has already stepped into it with us. In this deeply personal episode, Sandra shares how, in the middle of carrying heartbreaking news about a loved one, the Holy Spirit gently whispered, "I'm here." Those two words became an anchor, reminding her that peace isn't found in having all the answers. Peace is found in knowing that God is present, even when life feels uncertain. We'll talk about why peace isn't the absence of bad news, but the evidence of God's presence in the middle of it. We'll be reminded that we don't have to carry tomorrow because God gives us grace for today. And we'll discover that sometimes the greatest act of faith isn't having the perfect prayer...it's simply leaning into His presence. Main Scriptures:📖 Philippians 4:6–7📖 Psalm 23📖 Isaiah 41:10 ✨ Affirmation God is with me in this moment. I do not have to carry tomorrow because God is giving me grace for today. His presence is my peace, His faithfulness is my anchor, and I will trust Him one moment at a time. If you're carrying heavy news, waiting on an answer, or simply trying to find peace in the middle of uncertainty, this episode is for you. 🎧 Listen now and continue the journey with us as we learn to STRIKE: Praying Through Disappointment. 🌿 Listen here:https://www.beautyforashesco.co/podcast
