Fawzia Mohamed

Well Salam, mama Welcome to The Nourished Mum Podcast. I'm your host, Fawzia Mohamed — holistic health and life coach for mums — and this is your space to pause, breathe, and be poured into. Because motherhood was never meant to drain you. You were created to be nourished — in your soul, your mind, your body, and your faith. Here, we go beyond survival mode. We talk about emotional well-being, spiritual grounding, inner healing, and becoming the mother you want to be — without losing the woman you are. This podcast is a reminder that when a mama is supported, whole, and nourished from within, her home, her children, and her community flourish too. So take a deep breath, put your hand on your heart, and settle in… This is your time, mama. Let's begin. Bismallah

Episode# 54: Weekly Update + Our First Mums High Tea is Coming!

Well salaam mamas! Come and join me for another cosy weekly catch-up as I take you behind the scenes of a beautifully full week of solo parenting, preparing the kids for exam week, recording inspiring podcast guests, and planning our family's next big move . In this episode, I reflect on something Allah has been teaching me lately: growth isn't always about doing more—sometimes it's about slowing down. I share how taking one intentional day of rest filled my cup, reminded me of the importance of community, and allowed me to show up with more love and patience for my family. I'm also so excited to finally announce something that's been on my heart for a long time—our very first Nourished Mum High Tea: Meet & Connect Event coming to Nairobi! If you've been longing for genuine mum friendships, meaningful conversations and a community of women who uplift one another for the sake of Allah, this is for you. Even more special, every profit from this event will go towards supporting vulnerable single mothers in Uganda, allowing us to nourish our own hearts while giving back to others. In this episode we chat about: Why slowing down is sometimes the most productive thing you can do. Learning to fill your own cup without guilt. Why motherhood gets lighter in different seasons. The beauty of finding like-minded sisters. Our exciting High Tea event and the vision behind building a community of Nourished Mums. I pray this episode reminds you that you don't have to walk motherhood alone. If you enjoyed today's conversation, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with another mama who needs this reminder. If we're not friends on socials lets's become one on TikTok and Instagram.. I can't wait to have you there too. Until next time… Stay blessed and stay nourished, mama. lots of love,  Fawzia

Episode# 53: Weekly update +The Power of Nourishing Yourself First!!

Well Salam , mama. Welcome back to another episode of The Nourished Mum Podcast. This week, I'm bringing back the weekly updates that so many of you have asked for—and honestly, I have missed them too. These episodes give me an opportunity to reflect on the lessons, experiences and moments that are shaping me as a mother and as a woman. In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of a very full week that reminded me just how important it is for mums to intentionally nourish themselves. From treating myself to a much-needed spa day after a draining Qur'an test, to recording two incredible guest episodes for Season 2 of Mothers Making a Difference in East Africa, attending a wellness workshop and joining our monthly Qur'an Tadabbur Book Club, this week was packed with opportunities to refill my cup. And what I noticed was powerful: Even while solo parenting and navigating a busy season, I was able to show up for my children with more patience, kindness and presence. Not because life was easier. But because I was nourished. This is exactly the work I help mothers do inside Nourish, my 1:1 coaching container for mums—helping you become the calm, intentional and flourishing version of yourself by prioritising your soul, mind and body. If you're currently in a season where you're ready to grow, heal and become the mother you know you're capable of being, I would love to support you. With my move back to Australia approaching, I am only taking a limited number of clients before doors close until the next intake, insha'Allah. In this episode, you'll learn: ✨ Why filling your cup is not selfish as a mother ✨ How intentional self-care impacts the way you show up for your family ✨ What nourishment looks like in real life ✨ The power of creating rhythms that support your soul, mind and body I hope this episode encourages you to make yourself a priority too, mama. And be sure to follow my personal Instagram blog where I document all my Kenya adventures, reflections, motherhood moments and behind-the-scenes vlogs. It's a little corner where I share life as it unfolds, and I'd love to have you there If you enjoyed listening, please subscribe, leave a review and share the podcast with another amazing mama who would benefit from this conversation. Until next time, stay blessed and stay nourished, mama. Lots of love, Fawzia

Episode# 48 : Bridging Immigration for Healthcare Workers with Maryan Ismail (Part 1)- Mothers Making a difference in East Africa

Salam  mamas,  I pray your week has been gentle, slow where it needed to be… and full of barakah.   If I'm being honest, mama — my week has been full. The kids are on school holidays… and you already know what that means.   More presence. More play. More intentional moments. Trying to keep them engaged, off screens, and making these days feel special…   And somewhere in between all of that? My usual routines — the gym, the quiet moments, the space to recharge — have taken a step back.   But you know what I've been reminding myself…   This is the season. A season that calls for flexibility. A season that invites me to release perfection… To give myself grace… And to simply be present with my children.   Because motherhood isn't about doing everything perfectly — it's about showing up with intention, even when things feel a little out of rhythm    Now… before I turn this into a full life update (because you know I could 😂), Let's get into today's beautiful conversation. We're continuing our guest series: "Mothers Making a Difference in East Africa."   And mama… today's guest is truly something special.   We're joined by the incredible Maryan Ismail — a regulated Canadian immigration consultant, a single mama of two, and a woman whose strength, faith, and resilience will truly inspire you. Allahumma barik.   In this episode, we talk about:   ~ Her journey of moving to Kenya and building a new life ~ Navigating motherhood and business with tawakkul (trust in Allah) ~ How she carried herself through postpartum using dhikr and connection to Allah ﷻ ~ What *true nourishment* looks like for her in this season ~ And how she continues to pour into herself while raising her children and serving others Wallahi, mama… this conversation is filled with so much depth, honesty, and wisdom.   It's a reminder that you can hold multiple roles… That you can rebuild, grow, and thrive… And that with Allah at the centre, everything finds its place.   I personally took so much from this — and I know you will too, insha'Allah    So go ahead… Grab your tea ☕ Find a quiet corner (even if it's just for a few minutes) And open your heart.   Let's begin… Bismillah.
