    In this episode I offer simple, modern definitions of the four parts of the human being — body, mind, soul and spirit — without complicated language, without anything you need to already believe in. The body deals with doing, through action. The mind deals with understanding, through thinking. The soul deals with self-awareness, through feelings and emotions. The spirit deals with being, through choices. Each one has something we can use to exercise it: movement for the body, language for the mind, art for the soul, and choice for the spirit. I also ask the question that runs through everything: are we actually exercising them? And if not — why not? That's what the Cycle of Disempowerment is about. Coming in future episodes.
