Special Needs Parenting Without Burnout: Gut-Brain Axis, & Nervous System Regulation Dr. Chloe Weber

Send us Fan Mail Free Webinar: Why You Are Still Stuck With Your Health Join live on Tuesday: **Webinar Registration Link** https://events.discoverhealthfm.com/home2-831236 In this episode of the Discover Health Podcast, Dr. Joshua Sharp interviews Dr. Chloe Weber, Doctor of Chinese Medicine, herbal formulator, and mom to a medically complex child. Dr. Chloe brings both clinical expertise and lived experience from her son Remy’s journey with STXBP1, sharing a realistic approach to whole-child health that avoids perfectionism and “miracle cure” promises. We cover what matters most for special needs families: gut foundations, nervous system regulation, immune resilience, and reducing toxic load in practical, budget-friendly ways. Dr. Chloe also shares the hard-earned lesson many parents learn the painful way: your child needs a healthy, present parent more than another “next protocol.” You’ll also hear some fascinating troubleshooting ideas—like why symptoms can spike around the full moon, how parasites and inflammation can affect the brain, and why crawling, barefoot time outside, and sensory input can be powerful (and free) interventions. In this episode, you’ll learn: The “foundations first” strategy for complex kids (diet, sleep, sensory, nervous system) Why the gut-brain axis is often the biggest needle-mover Simple low-tox home switches with high ROI (air, water, fragrance, plastics) Why crawling + barefoot outdoor time can support neurodevelopment How to build resilience as a mom without burning out Dr. Chloe’s links: https://radicalremedy.org/ CBD + Chinese herb formulas:  radicalrootsherbs.com 🎧 More from Discover Health: Website: https://www.discoverhealthfm.com/ Store: https://discoverhealth.gethealthy.store/ ⚠️ Disclaimer: This episode is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice.
