Chingotto & Galan Dig Deep to Win the Tournament of the Year! | Premier Padel Madrid P1 Recap

Chingalan strike back in Madrid, Coello and Tapia finally fall before the final, LeBurger crash out early, and Calvo and Fernández somehow lose after leading 5–0 in the third. Madrid P1 was absolute chaos. 🔥   SUBSCRIBE to our channel for the BEST padel debates, reactions, and Premier Padel breakdowns: https://www.youtube.com/@TSHPADEL?sub_confirmation=1   Check out all the awesome LMD projects here: https://www.lmd.com.eg/   Welcome to our full Madrid P1 Recap!   The second half of the Premier Padel season started with one of the craziest tournaments of 2026.   Chingotto and Galán leave Madrid with another massive result in the World No. 1 race. Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas immediately prove their new partnership is real. Coello and Tapia suffer a shocking quarterfinal defeat. Lebrón and Augsburger completely underperform. Gonza Alfonso and Tino Libaak explode onto the scene.   And somehow the women’s draw might have been even crazier.   Timestamps:   00:00:00 Intro 00:01:12 Check out LMD's Website! 00:01:22 Chingalan Reign Supreme in Madrid! 00:15:38 How About That Run From Nieto & Yanguas? 00:26:22 Madrid Disaster for LeBurger? 00:33:30 How Impressive Were Gonza & Libaak? 00:41:37 Has Paquito Brought Back Prime Martin Di Nenno? 00:48:36 Honorable Mentions Of The Madrid P1? 00:52:20 Spicy No Spicy? 00:57:26 Triay & Brea Conquer Madrid! 01:04:48 Overreaction or Not? 01:10:44 Paris Major Preview 01:15:35 Who ya got Paris?   👑 CHINGALAN REIGN SUPREME IN MADRID   Fede Chingotto and Ale Galán deliver another huge result in Madrid and do serious damage in the race for World No. 1. Their road included Patiniotis and García, Esbrí and Sanyo, an incredible three set battle with Paquito and Di Nenno, Jofre and Bautista, and finally Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas. Galán also plays a Madrid final featuring two Madrid born players for the first time alongside Coki. But there is a bigger question: Did Chingalan fully capitalize even though they never had to personally beat Coello and Tapia? And most importantly… Who was your MVP?   🚀 COKI & YANGUAS ARE REAL   First Premier Padel final together. And they did it by taking out Coello and Tapia 7–5, 7–6 in the quarterfinals. It was the World No. 1 pair’s first quarterfinal loss since May 2025. The tactical plan was fascinating. Coki and Yanguas deliberately attacked Tapia’s volley. Mike displaced Tapia and opened the middle. Coki became more aggressive overhead. And their coaching box told them to stop waiting for mistakes and start creating the points themselves. They entered the final with an 0–6 record against Chingalan. But after Madrid… Are Coki and Yanguas already closer to the number three team in the world than number five?   🚨 MADRID DISASTER FOR LEBURGER   Haroon and Ismaeel picked Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger to WIN Madrid. They did not even make the quarterfinals. LeBurger lose 7–6, 7–5 to Gonza Alfonso and Tino Libaak in the Round of 16. Lebrón even admitted during the match that they were not creating enough. Instead of matching their power, Gonza slowed everything down, changed the rhythm, and forced LeBurger to generate their own attack.   At hat point does the concern become real? And is their position as the clear number three team officially under threat?   🇦🇷 GONZA & LIBAAK GO OFF   Beat Bergamini and Garrido. Beat Lebrón and Augsburger. Come from behind against Abbate and Rodríguez. Reach the semifinals. And even against Coki and Yanguas, they had seven set points in the second set. Gonza manipulated the speed of the match while Tino attacked the spaces he created. Should this partnership stay together for the rest of 2026? And did both players just play themselves into Argentina’s World Cup team?   🧠 HAS PAQUITO BROUGHT BACK PRIME DI NENNO?   Martín Di Nenno looks different. Paquito Navarro and Di Nenno continue showing signs that this reunion could become much more dangerous than expected. Meanwhile Coki and Yanguas reached a final immediately after their previous partnership struggled to convert semifinal opportunities, while Stupa and Sanz exited Madrid in the Round of 16. Were we blaming Coki and Yanguas too much for what went wrong before?   👏 MADRID HONORABLE MENTIONS   Jofre and Bautista reach their first Premier Padel semifinal after surviving one of the wildest quarterfinals of the year. They failed to convert five match points during a 16–14 second set tiebreak… …and STILL recovered to win the third. Flavio Abbate also becomes the first Italian man to reach a Premier Padel quarterfinal, alongside Rodríguez after knocking out Leal and Guerrero. And Madrid also marked an emotional moment for the sport as Alejandra Salazar announced her retirement from padel.   🌶️ SPICY NO SPICY   Gonza Alfonso challenged a missed smash against Yanguas and Nieto after the ball touched Yanguas before hitting the ground. The call was overturned. Good use of video review or are we getting too technical?   👑 TRIAY & BREA CONQUER MADRID   Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea beat Bea González and Paula Josemaría 6–7, 6–3, 6–3 to win Madrid. Sixth title of the season. Fifth consecutive final. Gemma reaches 200 Premier Padel victories. And after their London defeat to Calvo and Fernández, they immediately remind everyone why they remain the most consistent force on the women’s tour. Is consistency the biggest thing separating Gemma and Delfi from everybody chasing them?   🤯 COMEBACK OF THE YEAR OR CHOKE OF THE YEAR?   This one might hurt for a long time.   Calvo and Fernández led Bea and Paula:   5–0 in the deciding set.   Then at 5–3… 40–0. Three consecutive match points. They still lost 7–5.   Bea stayed positive. Paula became more aggressive. Claudia stopped stepping forward with the same conviction. And suddenly seven straight games were gone. So who deserves more of the story?   Bea and Paula for an unbelievable comeback… or Calvo and Fernández for an unbelievable collapse?   And does a loss like this make a young team stronger? Or leave a scar?   🧨 OVERREACTION OR NOT?   Coki and Yanguas are closer to being the No. 3 team than the No. 5 team. The loss to Bea and Paula will haunt Calvo and Fernández for the rest of the season. Gonza Alfonso should make Argentina’s World Cup team. The Madrid men’s final was the best men’s final of 2026.   🇫🇷 PARIS MAJOR PREVIEW   And there is basically no time to recover. The Paris Major is next. Potential chaos includes: Coello and Tapia potentially getting Gonza and Libaak almost immediately. Paquito and Di Nenno potentially meeting Stupa and Sanz in the quarterfinals.   Possible semifinals:   LeBurger vs Coello and Tapia Chingalan vs Stupa and Sanz Madrid changed the hierarchy. Paris could blow it up again.   ✅ WHERE WE WERE RIGHT & WRONG   Men:   Haroon and Ismaeel picked LeBurger. Yousef picked Chingalan.   Women:   Haroon and Ismaeel picked Calvo and Fernández. Yousef picked Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea. Receipts are getting pulled.   🎯 WHO WINS THE PARIS MAJOR?   Men’s champion. Women’s champion.   And which Madrid overreaction is most likely to become reality?   👇 DROP YOUR TAKE   Are Chingalan genuinely back in the World No. 1 race? Are Coki and Yanguas already a Top 3 level partnership? And was the Calvo and Fernández loss the biggest choke of the entire season?   Halfway through 2026, the padel season looks VERY different from what we predicted. Yousef, Ismaeel, and Haroon break down Coello and Tapia’s eighth title of the season, Chingalan’s fifth straight loss to them, the latest concerns around LeBurger, the Stupa and Yanguas breakup, and the historic rise of Calvo and Fernández. 👑 Coello and Tapia conquer London Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia win their eighth title of the season and make it five straight wins over Chingalan. Another final, another trophy, and another statement before the summer break. WHO IS YOUR MVP? 😬 What are Chingalan thinking now Fede Chingotto and Ale Galán enter the break after a fifth straight loss to Coello and Tapia and now sit 1,300 points behind in the race. Is this still a rivalry, or have Coello and Tapia reopened the gap? 🚨 Is Augsburger ready for World No. 1 talk Leo Augsburger and Juan Lebrón lose again to Chingalan, and the way it happened raises questions. Up 3-0 with a double break in the second set, they still lost the set 6-3. Is Augsburger really ready to fight for World No. 1, or is the consistency still missing? 💔 Stupa and Yanguas finally break up Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas lose in the quarterfinals again, this time to Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno in straights, and the partnership is officially done. Was this inevitable? 🔁 Thoughts on Stupa and Sanz Stupa and Jon Sanz are coming. What does this team look like, how dangerous can they be, and who should Yanguas call next? We might have one wild option. 🧨 Summer breakup watch With Stupa and Yanguas done, are more teams about to follow during the summer break? We look at the partnerships that could be under pressure. 👑 Calvo and Fernández destroy London Martina Calvo and Claudia Fernández are only in their second tournament together, and they already have two finals and one title. They become the youngest team in history to win a Premier Padel title, Calvo becomes the youngest player ever to win a title, and they beat Bea and Paula in both tournaments before taking down Gemma and Delfi in straights to win London. Is this the start of something massive? 🧨 Overreaction or Not LeBurger have solidified their spot as the number three team, not more and not less. If Chingalan keep getting dominated by Coello and Tapia, they will break up by the end of the season. The women’s tour is more competitive than the men’s tour. Coello and Tapia will make every final for the rest of the season. Calvo and Fernández will win more titles overall than Bea and Paula. Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero are a more volatile team than LeBurger. ✅ Where we were right and wrong Women’s side: Haroon had Bea and Paula, Ismaeel had Gemma and Delfi, but Yousef got Calvo and Fernández right. Men’s side: Ismaeel had LeBurger, Yousef had Chingalan, and Haroon got Coello and Tapia right. 🎙️ Should we do a mid season recap episode? The summer break is here, the title races are heating up, teams are breaking up, and the second half of 2026 could get wild. Should we drop a full mid season recap episode? 👇 Drop your takes in the comments Are Coello and Tapia clearly back on top, and are Calvo and Fernández the future of the women’s tour?

After another huge week on African soil, is the top ranking still in sight? WHO IS YOUR MVP?   🔥 Leal and Guerrero’s gladiator run Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero beat LeBurger and Coello and Tapia on the same run, becoming the only team to beat Coello and Tapia in a semifinal since Bordeaux last year. Chingalan had been 21 and 2 in semis since then, which makes this run even more ridiculous. Was this the gladiator run of the year?   😳 LeBurger collapse Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger had six match points and still could not close it. Is this the choke of the year, or just the kind of painful loss that happens when two explosive players are still trying to become a complete team?   🧠 Sanyo check in Another quarterfinal loss for Sanyo, this time with Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno taking them out in straights. Still, how impressive has Sanyo’s overall 2026 been?   🎯 Shots of the tournament Lebrón’s backhand flick. Fran Guerrero’s outrageous block from Augsburger. The moments that made Pretoria feel different.   👑 Gemma and Delfi rule Pretoria Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea take the title and remind everyone why they are still one of the most dangerous teams on the women’s tour. Is this a short term spark, or the start of a serious new team?   🧨 Overreaction or Not Leal and Guerrero secured their spots for Spain’s World Cup team. Javi Leal is a Top 5 talent in the world. Fran Guerrero is the fourth best right side player in the world. Is this just a tough stretch, or are Coello and Tapia officially back in control of the rivalry?   🚨 Lebrón and Augsburger, we need to talk Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger fall in the quarterfinals to Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno. Last week, “LeBurger will not win another title this year” sounded like an overreaction. After another early exit as the number three seeds, is it starting to become reality?   🔥 Paquito and Di Nenno building something Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno beat LeBurger and reach their first semifinal since reuniting, and their first semifinal together since Mendoza P1 2022. Is this the week that changes the tone of their reunion?   🏆 Icardo and Jensen shock Bordeaux Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen win their first title as a pair with a ridiculous run through the draw. They beat the number four seeds Fernández and Araújo, the number two seeds Bea and Paula, then the number one seeds Triay and Brea in the final. Icardo wins the first Premier Padel title of her career, while Jensen adds her second title at just 21 years old. They dropped the first set in the final, then won 12 of the next 14 games. Statement run.   💔 Chozas and Libaak break up Tino Libaak and Chozas are done. What went wrong, who should each player call next, and what does this mean for the next wave of partnerships?   🧨 Overreaction or Not Coello will surpass Galán in career titles by the end of the season. Icardo and Jensen’s Bordeaux run was better than LeBurger’s Brussels run. The men’s tour is getting boring with LeBurger underperforming. Paquito and Di Nenno will do better than Stupa and Yanguas for the rest of the season.   ✅ Where we were right and wrong Women’s side: everyone missed after Icardo and Jensen shocked the field. Is this a dip in level, a matchup issue, or just the natural rhythm of a rivalry season against Coello and Tapia? 🔥 Chapter 6: LeBurger vs Coello and Tapia Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger get another crack at Coello and Tapia, and the matchup keeps giving us answers. Are LeBurger getting closer, or are they still missing the final piece against the very best? 🚀 Leal and Guerrero building momentum Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero could be setting themselves up for a strong second half of 2026. Is this partnership starting to click at the perfect time? 🤔 Bergarrido, Tello and Arce choose FIP Gold Bergamini and Garrido, plus Tello and Arce, skip Valladolid P2 and head to Abidjan for FIP Gold. Smart ranking strategy, strange scheduling choice, or a sign of how packed the calendar has become? 👑 Bea and Paula queens in Valladolid Bea González and Paula Josemaría win Valladolid and get revenge after recent setbacks against Triay and Brea. Is this the response that puts them back in control of the women’s race? 🧨 Overreaction or Not As Tapia said, padel on fast courts is not beautiful to watch. Daytime matches should use purple balls for better TV visibility. Lebrón and Augsburger will not win another title for the rest of the year. 🌴 Bordeaux P2 preview Coello and Tapia land on the same side as LeBurger, but their path is far from simple: Collado and Hernández, Goni and Alonso, and potentially Chingalan. Is this the toughest draw they have had in weeks? ✅ Where we were right and wrong Women’s side: Yousef had Ustero and Sánchez, Ismaeel had Gemma and Delfi, and Haroon got Bea and Paula right. Men’s side: Ismaeel had LeBurger, while Yousef and Haroon got Coello and Tapia right. 🎲 Who ya got for Bordeaux P2 Men’s and women’s picks for the next Premier Padel stop. 👇 Drop your takes in the comments Are Coello and Tapia back in control, and should Premier Padel rethink fast courts and ball visibility for TV?   Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3EFC8yx Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7uEoncIbclJ8C9KoYgtCf8?si=47da9a74180b41c4 Follow on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/padelpulsepodcast/ Follow on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@padelpulsepodcast Follow on Twitter: https://x.com/padelpulsepodcast Follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PadelPulsePodcast/ Check out more from TSH Padel here: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tsh.padel/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@tsh.padel Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TSH.Padel/
