    The Creative Process is designed to reconnect you with your Soul

    So I received a huge download the other night that the creative process is designed to reconnect you with your soul. It’s designed to bring even more of your soul into your body. And perfectionism is a direct attack on your connection to spirit: your own spirit and the spirit of All (of everything and anything). When we’re creating, we’re given opportunities to get deeper into alignment with the truest version of ourselves. Whenever we’re editing and refining, we’re allowing whatever isn’t aligned to fall away, revealing more of ourselves to us.     This is the perfect reframe if you feel like routines and responsibilities are cages

    Welcome to my late night Ted-Talk. I wanted to share this big realization that came through for me after very vulnerably sharing weekly horoscopes for the first time... I had a huge moment of panic when I realized that I was committing to writing horoscopes every week. I then went on to realize that whenever I am creating a routine or a responsibility in the form of a commitment, my subconscious mind thinks I'm literally building myself a cage... What began as a fear of consistency turned into a major breakthrough for me and so I needed to talk about it immediately -- hence the frownies and late-night (for me) tea. In this episode we'll talk about: why routines and consistency feel like a cage and how to shift the energyhow routines can be nourishing how responsibility can actually be an opportunity to love Here are the reframes: Routines hold and nourish me.     Struggling B**** Reporting Live

    In this solo episode, I decided to record a messy episode in the midst of feeling paralyzed by fear… fear of showing up imperfectly, fear of not doing a good job… the list goes on. I'm sitting here thinking... this is just being human. I’m fearing what it’s like to be a human being online. I show up like this in my daily life, with my family and friends, and so why can’t I show up like this with you guys? What feels unsafe about it? Well, basically everything, but when I break it down it feels a bit easier to stomach and so here I am, with this vulnerable and messy episode. I am very bored of feeling paralyzed by perfectionism and fear of the unknown, so I decided to just dive in with this one and I appreciate you sooo much for being here with me. I’d love to know what you’re working through right now??     There’s so much happening in the world right now. And in this episode, I wanted to come to work through a bunch of things that I’ve been grappling with… so this episode is me talking through what’s been coming up around activism, integrity and how we each move through the world when it feels like everything is on fire. 🙃 I speak about what it’s like to feel torn—wanting to do more, to speak out, but also needing to protect your energy, your body, your children, your peace. I talk about the judgment we often place on ourselves (and absorb from others) when our activism doesn’t look loud or public.     Something that has been coming through the Records for clients and even for me, is that if we’re experiencing a problem or resistance or feeling stuck, we should just throw some joy at it. Seriously (ha) — choosing to do something that lights us up is a surefire way to shift our energy and in doing so we can enter a flow state and our joy acts as a Stargate, only allowing things into our field that align with the Truth of who we are. In this episode we get into: 🌺 How we abandon ourselves without even realizing it🌺 Why prioritizing joy and creativity isn’t frivolous or childish🌺 How joy is a return to self This is a topic that continually pops up for me. Even while I’ve been building AULANI ALCHEMY, there are moments where I say, “I should be doing x, y, z” while my inner child is simultaneously saying, “Let’s do the fun business thing,” and guess what… whenever I choose to do the fun task first, it makes doing the other task way easier.
