Sermon - Where is God When it Hurts

In the midst of deep suffering, it’s completely natural to ask: "Where is God?" In this powerful message through Job chapters 3–34, Brother Greg Lacy explores how to bring our rawest hurt, anger, and deep emotions to God. God isn't intimidated by our pain—He wants us to bring everything to Him, no matter how messy or ugly it feels. Additionally, this sermon unpacks how to—and how not to—comfort those who are hurting. Job’s friends assumed his pain was caused by secret sin, showing how easy it is to jump to harmful conclusions when there are no clear answers. Tune in for profound wisdom on how to support loved ones through their darkest valleys and where to anchor your heart when God feels silent.

In this powerful sermon, Brother Greg Lacy walks through the first two chapters of the Book of Job to explore the reality of trials, tribulations, and unexpected storms in life. We all face seasons of hardship—but as Job shows us, our highest calling in the midst of suffering is to lift our eyes and worship the Lord. If you are currently navigating a difficult season, this message will bring you deep encouragement and practical insight on how to honor God while waiting for the storm to pass.

Biblical Warnings and Characteristics of False Teachers

Greg and Luke sit down to discuss a sobering topic that is currently infecting and multiplying in the Church today.  False Teachers and False Profits have been a problem within the body of believers from the days of Moses to the New Testament and continues to worsen today.  Scripture tells us that the number of False Teachers will increase in the Last Days and many will be deceived.  False Teachers are predators and their evil deeds need to be put on public display to protect the church.   We discuss the characteristics and biblical warnings of false teachers to shine a light on the issue that plagues churches, damages relationships, and breaks trust of the Church.  False Teachers are a real ongoing threat, but Scripture equips us.   In Part 2 of this series we will discuss how to identify, test, and stand firm against these wolves in sheep's clothing.
