    My Daughter Is Being Bullied, and I'm BOTHERED | EP085

    Get ready to be BOTHERED. Julie Kim is flying solo this week, and she's particularly bothered. Someone has been mean to her daughter, and apparently the appropriate parenting response is "How did that make you feel?" instead of saying everything that immediately comes to mind. 🍬 What starts with a deliberately cruel candy encounter brings up a pattern of exclusion, an upsetting comment about her daughter's body, and Julie's struggle to figure out where compassion ends and drawing a firm boundary begins. Along the way, she admits her own kid isn't perfect, questions whether she and her husband need more sanitized "parenting personalities," and takes a detour into parents who casually mention their second property but never ask you a single question back.  It's an honest, sweary episode about protective parent rage, childhood mean behaviour, and trying to help your kid without letting your own anger take over.
