🎙✨Welcome to The Jackie Scully Show! Truth. Voice. Change. What happens when we stop filtering our truth? This podcast is a space for raw, honest conversations—starting within. Each episode explores the truths we uncover through lived experience, reflection, and growth…then gives them a voice. I end each episode with a short breathwork session and a guided meditation, with a message connected to the episode's theme. This podcast is not just passive listening but an immersive experience to bring grounding energy into your day. Because when truth is spoken and embodied, it creates movement. And movement creates change. In the first episodes, I share my own evolving truths—about life, identity, struggle, growth, and what it really means to be human right now. Then the space opens to others: real people, real stories, real voices. No scripts. No boxes. No performing. Just truth, voiced…so it can ripple outward.

Talking to 3 Strangers a Day Changed My Life with Steve Spiro

When was the last time you talked to a stranger, picked up the phone instead of sending a text, or entered a conversation thinking less about what you could get—and more about what you could give? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I sit down with Steve Spiro, known as “The Master Connector,” for a conversation about something increasingly valuable in our hyperconnected world: real human connection. And Steve wasn't always a natural connector. Growing up painfully shy and introverted, Steve often isolated himself and struggled to build relationships. His journey began to change when a successful mentor challenged him to do something that terrified him: meet three strangers every day. Over time, that practice helped transform not only the way Steve communicated, but the way he saw other people—and himself. Today, Steve is a speaker, author, podcast host, and TEDx speaker who has built a massive network around a surprisingly simple philosophy: be authentic, be others-focused, and keep connecting. We talk about what human connection looks like in the age of AI, why technology should never replace trust, how introverts can become powerful connectors, and why Steve believes systemizing something as simple as talking to strangers can help take away some of the fear. But the conversation goes deeper than networking. Steve shares an inspirational shift that changed his heart, why his mission is to “be the light, uplift, inspire, and encourage,” and how moving from being self-focused to others-focused transformed his life. We explore giving, purpose, authentic influence, human connection in the workplace, and why sometimes the simplest thing we can do is put down the text message and actually talk to another human being. Because perhaps connection isn't about collecting contacts. It's about making people feel like they matter. ✨ And in a world with more ways to communicate than ever before, maybe it's time we remember how to truly connect. About Steve Spiro Steve Spiro, known as “The Master Connector,” is a keynote and TEDx speaker, author, and host of The Master Connector Show. Once painfully shy and introverted, Steve now helps sales professionals, leaders, and organizations build trust, strengthen relationships, and achieve better results through authentic human connection. His own transformation from someone who would rather avoid conversation to someone who deliberately meets strangers and builds relationships is at the heart of his work. Spiritual Talk is Over; Let's Get to Work with Madalena Dragon

What happens when spiritual awakening is no longer about transcending your humanity—but fully stepping into it? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I sit down with writer, speaker, feminine leadership voice, and founder of the Spotlight Movement, Madalena Dragon, for a bold and refreshingly grounded conversation about what she calls the second stage of awakening. Madalena spent years immersed in transcendental spirituality, studying Buddhism, tantra, meditation, energy work, and even training to become a monk. But eventually, something shifted. She realized she didn't want to escape reality or transcend her identity. She wanted to know who she was, experience being human, and create something meaningful in the world. Together, we unpack what happens when spiritual practices and teachings that once helped us begin to become another way of avoiding action. What if “I'm in my feminine energy” sometimes means I'm afraid to act? What if “I'm living in the moment” becomes an excuse not to take responsibility for our future? What if waiting for divine timing, another sign, another meditation, or the perfect feeling of readiness is actually giving our power away? Madalena challenges the idea that spirituality should give us a universal rulebook. Instead, she invites us to develop discernment, question what we've learned, trust our own path, and recognize when even good advice no longer serves us. As she says, sometimes something can be difficult and still be meant for you. We also explore leadership without pedestals, authenticity in the age of curated social media and AI, vulnerability as power, creating real impact, the importance of community, and why the messy “backstage” of our lives may be just as meaningful as what everyone sees in the spotlight. Because eventually, all the reading, meditating, analyzing, manifesting, and talking has to lead somewhere: What are you actually doing with what you've learned? ✨ Maybe awakening isn't about rising above being human. Maybe the next awakening is about coming all the way back down—and getting to work. About Madalena Dragon Madalena spent years inside the world of transcendental spirituality, training to become a monk, before leaving that path to build real impact in the world. She now writes and speaks about spirituality, authenticity, and feminine leadership and is the founder of the Spotlight Movement, a community focused on helping leaders and creators become visible for their zone of genius. Her work invites people away from pedestals and performance and toward grounded leadership, authentic visibility, personal responsibility, and creating something tangible from the messages they feel called to share. ✨ Connect with Madalena: 📸 Instagram — @madalenadragon ▶️ YouTube — Madalena Morbey

In the Age of AI, Don't Forget to Be Human with Dr. J Rodriguez

What does it mean to be human in a world of increasingly intelligent machines? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I welcome back my friend, mentor, communication expert, professor, and researcher Dr. J Rodriguez for a conversation about AI—but probably not the kind of AI conversation you're used to hearing. Rather than asking whether AI will save us or destroy us, we explore something deeper: Who do we want to become alongside it? Dr. J introduces the concepts of heartset and metamodernism—a way of moving beyond the constant either/or thinking that has shaped so much of our culture. Instead of blindly embracing progress or endlessly criticizing everything that's broken, what happens when we learn to hold tension, remain curious, and consciously choose how we respond? We talk about polarity, intuition, body wisdom, critical thinking, education, relationships, technology, truth, and why changing your mind may actually be evidence that you're evolving. We also explore our relationship with AI itself. Can we use it without handing over our creativity, discernment, or voice? Can technology become a collaborator rather than a replacement for our thinking? And could it actually give us more time for the things that make us most human? Because perhaps the skills we need in an increasingly technological world aren't only technological. We may also need to become more present. More discerning. More curious. More compassionate. More capable of sitting with complexity. As Dr. J reminds us, we are entering a world of increasingly intelligent machines—but we must also remember how to notice one another, turn toward one another with care, and build without losing sight of each other. ✨ Maybe the future isn't asking us to choose between technology and humanity. Maybe it's asking us to become more intentional about both. About Dr. J Rodriguez Dr. José I. Rodríguez—known as Dr. J—is a Professor of Communication Studies, researcher, communication expert, trainer, and consultant whose work centers on human connection and compassionate social change. As a professor, Dr. Rodríguez has received prestigious awards for his research from the National Communication Association, International Communication Association, and Association of Teacher Educators. His expertise has been featured on ABC7 Eyewitness News and KMEX 34 Univision in Los Angeles, and he has worked with public and private organizations across the U.S. With the mind of a discerning scientist, the heart of an empathic coach, and the spirit of a savvy strategist, Dr. Rodríguez collaborates with educators, business leaders, and communities to co-create uncommon solutions for common communication dilemmas. ✨ Connect with Dr. J: 💼 LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/josé-i-rodríguez-phd/ 🌐 Website — José Rodríguez Solutions

Seen, Heard, & Understood: The Truth About Your Voice with Tia Cristy

What if the way you communicate today has more to do with your past than you realize? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I sit down with my friend, mentor, global communications expert, and TEDx speaker Tia Cristy for a conversation that goes far beyond public speaking. Tia shares a powerful truth: the way we communicate as adults is often connected to the way we learned we were allowed to communicate as children. Talking too fast, filling every silence, struggling to listen, feeling like you have to fight to be heard—these patterns may have deeper roots than we realize. We explore the psychology and human behavior behind communication, why listening may be one of our most important communication skills, the power of the pause, and what changes when we become more intentional about how we speak, listen, and show up with one another. Tia reminds us that communication isn't only about the words coming out of our mouths—it includes listening, body language, writing, silence, and presence. We also get personal about relationships, childhood conditioning, authenticity, self-awareness, and the courage it takes to recognize when the way we've always communicated simply isn't working anymore. Because underneath so much of our communication is something deeply human: We want to feel seen. We want to feel heard. We want to feel understood. And sometimes changing the way we communicate can change the way we experience our relationships, our work—and ourselves. ✨ Your voice matters. But so does how you use it. About Tia Cristy Tia Cristy is a Global Communications Expert, CEO, TEDx speaker, and former national radio personality who helps leaders communicate with greater clarity, confidence, and influence—both in business and beyond the boardroom. For more than two decades, she has worked with executives, entrepreneurs, royalty, and senior leaders to strengthen communication, build authentic connections, and create cultures where people and organizations thrive. Recognized as one of the nation's top seven female voices, Tia's viral TEDx Talk, It's All Stress: The Frazzler vs. The Silent Stressor, is featured on TED.com. The Truth I Found About God—and Myself with Juan Galan

What happens when the beliefs you were given about God no longer match what you feel to be true within yourself? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I sit down with spiritual teacher, identity alchemist, and life coach Juan Galan for a deeply personal conversation about identity, faith, religious deconstruction, and finding his way back to God—and ultimately, back to himself. Juan grew up Catholic in Colombia, knowing from a young age that he was different. As a sensitive, artistic boy who would eventually come to understand himself as gay, questions of belonging, shame, faith, and identity became woven into his story. His journey would eventually take him away from the faith he grew up with, through years of questioning and exploration, and later into a Christian community in Bali. But when old wounds and fears of rejection began resurfacing, Juan found himself asking deeper questions: Who is God? Who was Jesus—Yeshua—really? And can I have a relationship with the divine without abandoning who I am? Those questions led Juan into an exploration of the Bible, metaphysics, Christian mysticism, consciousness, and different ways of understanding spirituality. Along the way, something unexpected happened: his search for his own truth didn't ultimately take him farther away from God. It became part of what brought him back. We talk about the courage it takes to question what you've been taught, the role of deconstruction in the Hero's Journey, religious wounds, identity, shame, curiosity, and what can happen when we stop looking outside ourselves for someone else to tell us what is true. Juan also shares how his own healing journey eventually became a call to serve other gay men navigating shame, grief, identity, and their own return to wholeness. And perhaps the invitation in this conversation isn't to adopt Juan's truth—or mine—but to become curious enough to discover your own. ✨ Question everything. Get curious. And keep coming home to who you are. We close the episode with a guided meditation on wholeness, deconstruction, the Hero's Journey, and remembering that wherever you are on your path, it may be part of becoming who you're here to be. About Juan Galán Juan Galán is a spiritual teacher, identity alchemist, and life coach for gay men navigating transformation. Through his Coming Home coaching program, he guides queer men through deep identity work and spiritual reclamation. He is also the founder of Mystic Misfits Society (Now-Inner Alchemy), a spiritual community exploring consciousness, shadow work, and what it means to live as a remembering being. Juan is an Adobe Ambassador and AI content creator, and he believes God is his CEO—that every collapse, every initiation, and every pivot is divinely orchestrated toward wholeness. ✨ Connect with Juan: 📸 Healing with Juan: @healingwithjuan on Instagram 🌟 Spirituality & Consciousness: @iamjuangalan on Instagram

I Thought I Was Keeping the Peace, but I Was Losing Myself with Nicole Peterhans

What happens when being “the good girl,” keeping the peace, and taking care of everyone else slowly turns into abandoning yourself? In this episode of The Jackie Scully Show, I sit down with author, Soul Alignment Coach, energy healer, and self-love advocate Nicole Peterhans for an honest conversation about people-pleasing, self-worth, limiting beliefs, and what it takes to finally live as your full, authentic self. Nicole shares her own journey from shrinking herself, fearing rejection and criticism, and constantly reading the room to becoming a woman who trusts her voice, honors what she wants, and allows herself to be seen. We explore how early conditioning can become an identity, why kindness rooted in fear or need feels very different from kindness rooted in truth, and how curiosity helped Nicole uncover and release layers of beliefs she didn't even realize she was carrying. We also talk about the power of language, becoming the observer of your own patterns instead of judging yourself for them, listening to the wisdom of the body, and remembering that the identity you've carried for decades does not have to determine who you become next. Because when we change our inner world, our outer world begins to change too. And perhaps underneath all of those old beliefs is something that has been waiting to come forward all along: Your brilliance. Nicole reminds us that every one of us carries something unique that is meant to be expressed—and that freeing ourselves from the need to please, prove, hide, or compare allows more of that brilliance to emerge. We end our conversation with a short guided meditation centered on self-worth, freedom, curiosity, and giving yourself permission to become more fully you. ✨ Your brilliance is meant to be shared with the world. About Nicole Peterhans Nicole Peterhans is an author, Soul Alignment Coach, energy healer, and self-love advocate. She helps sensitive and soulful women release limiting beliefs, heal old emotional patterns, and reconnect with their worth, voice, and authentic self. Originally from Switzerland and now living in the USA, Nicole’s work is deeply rooted in her own journey of moving from self-abandonment and people-pleasing to living with greater truth, confidence, and inner alignment. She is the author of Self-Love for Women: Heal Your Inner Child, Awaken Self-Love, and Create the Relationships You Deserve, and the creator of AHA to Transformation, her signature method of Awareness, Healing, and Alignment. Nicole believes that living your truth is not about becoming someone new. It is about releasing what taught you to hide, so you can return to the self that was always there.
