How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit - Part 5

Most of us can list a few choices we wish we could redo, the purchase that didn’t fit, the direction that looked right until it didn’t. That’s exactly why being led by the Holy Spirit isn’t “extra credit” for Christians, it’s a life skill. Pastor C.F. talks candidly about why God’s guidance is better than our best reasoning, because He knows what’s ahead and He never makes mistakes.  Pastor C.F. opens Romans 8:14 & 16 and gets practical about hearing God’s voice through the inward witness. Instead of chasing outward signs, open doors, closed doors, or fleeces, we focus on what the Holy Spirit is bearing witness to inside your spirit. He also shares a simple framework you can actually use this week: the stoplight test. Green means peace to proceed, yellow means caution and check your direction, and red means stop when you’re unsettled on the inside.  Pastor CF shares a personal story about feeling unsettled on an expected path and how God’s plan became clear without a dramatic voice or vision, just an inner “this seems right,” echoing the language of Acts 15. He also talks about the conscience as the voice of your spirit and the warning from 1st Timothy 4:2 about a conscience being seared, not by one big moment, but by repeated delay and ignored promptings. If you want clearer guidance, stronger spiritual discernment, and more confidence in God’s plan for your life, this message will help.

How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit - Part 4

Your life is full of decisions, and the loudest voice is not always the best one. Pastor C.F. digs into what it actually looks like to be led by the Spirit of God, not by pressure, trends, fear, or a last-minute scramble for a sign. One story sets the tone: a businessman who claims he never lost money because he refused to move until he had the inward witness. That raises a real question for all of us: are we willing to slow down long enough to hear what’s happening on the inside? Pastor C.F. talks about the practical side of hearing God’s voice: getting quiet, spending time in the Bible, praying, and learning the difference between what your head is shouting and what your spirit is sensing. Jesus’ teaching in John 14 thru 16 comes alive as we unpack the Holy Spirit as Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, and Guide, including how He can warn you, prepare you, and lead you with peace even when the choice doesn’t make sense on paper. He also addresses discernment in a modern world where voices can be cloned and authority can be faked. The test is timeless: does what you’re hearing match Scripture and the character of Jesus? From Elijah’s still small voice to the early church’s “it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us,” Pastor C.F. puts the focus on Spirit-led decision-making that’s steady, clear, and rooted in God’s Word. How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit - Part 3

If you’ve ever believed God has a plan for your life but still felt like you were guessing, this message is for you. Pastor C.F. talks plainly about why so many Christians feel stuck in decision fatigue and how you can move from “throwing darts” to real confidence. The turning point is learning God’s primary way of leading: the inward witness, where the Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit and brings a deep, steady peace that doesn’t depend on perfect circumstances.  Pastor C.F. walks through key Scriptures like Romans 8 and Proverbs 20:27 to show that God’s guidance is not reserved for pastors or “super spiritual” people. You can hear God because you’re His child, and His voice becomes familiar as you learn to pay attention on the inside. He also addresses the pushback that often shows up when you decide to obey, including fear and the voice that says you can’t hear from God. Then we get practical with a challenging idea: if it’s God, the math doesn’t matter. That doesn’t erase wisdom, but it puts finances, risk, and pressure back in their place under obedience and trust.  To make it even clearer, Pastor C.F. breaks down what it means to be spirit, soul, and body and why the new birth changes your spirit, not your outward appearance. That foundation helps you become more spirit conscious and better at discernment, especially when your mind and emotions feel loud. He closes with Hebrews 4:12 and why the Word of God is essential for separating soul from spirit so you can make cleaner, calmer decisions. How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit - Part 2

Your next decision doesn’t have to be driven by anxiety, pressure, or a stack of pros and cons. In Part 2 of our message on how to be led by the Holy Spirit we get honest about how easy it is to move fast on something that looks “good” while missing the quiet check on the inside, and why learning to be led by the Spirit of God is not optional if we want a steady, fruitful Christian life. Pastor C.F. walks through foundational Scriptures that explain how God actually leads His children: Romans 8:14 and 8:16 on being led by the Holy Spirit and the Spirit bearing witness with our spirit, plus Proverbs 20:27 on the spirit of man being the Lord’s lamp. That inward witness isn’t an outward sign or a dramatic moment. It’s an internal knowing that grows clearer as we learn who we are in Christ and how we’re designed to hear from God. Pastor C.F. also breaks down spirit, soul, and body from 1st Thessalonians 5:23, and why so many of us get stuck trying to reach God through natural senses, intellect, or emotions. Then he shares a real story about he and his wife, Pastor Nicole, and a choice about preparing to move and start a church, feeling the weight of embarrassment, and choosing obedience when they didn’t have a green light. Finally, he gives a practical way to test direction step by step and why we always follow peace, even when the path isn’t perfect. If you’ve been asking “How do I hear God’s voice?” or “How do I know what to do next?”, this teaching will ground you and give you a simple framework you can use right away. How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit - Part 1

The most important decision you will ever make is not about where you live or what job you take. It is whether you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and become born again. Pastor C.F.  speaks plainly about why that choice changes everything, and why church attendance or being a “good person” is not the same thing as new life in Christ. We walk through the questions people actually ask about heaven, salvation, and what it means to follow Jesus with confidence. From there, Pastor C.F. pivots to something deeply practical: how to be led by the Spirit of God. If you want a better year, you need more than motivation, you need guidance. He talks about living by faith and not by sight, and unpacks Jesus’ own words about the Holy Spirit in John 14:16-17 and John 14:26. The Holy Spirit is not a vague force or a spooky idea. He is a personal Helper who abides with believers, teaches us, and brings God’s Word back to our remembrance right when we need it. Pastor C.F. also digs into John 16:13 and Romans 8 to explain how God most often leads His people: the inward witness. That means learning to “locate” where the Spirit speaks, not in swirling emotions or nonstop mental noise, but in your spirit. If you have decisions in front of you, this message will help you stop guessing and start recognizing the steady guidance of the Spirit of Truth. Planted to Flourish - Part 2

You can’t build a flourishing life on shallow roots. Pastor C.F. goes to Psalm 92 and gets practical about what “being planted in the house of the Lord” actually looks like, from surviving storms like a palm tree to growing strong and protected like the cedars of Lebanon. If you’ve ever felt spiritually stuck, constantly starting over, or unsure where you belong, this message gives you a clear path forward: choose a place to put down roots and let God grow you there. Pastor C.F. also talks about the part people do not always say out loud: planting can feel like dying to self. When a season is uncomfortable, unglamorous, or simply not what we wanted, it’s tempting to quit, move on, or keep church shopping. He shares why faithfulness and flexibility matter, how staying power leads to fruit, and why God uses the local church to bring stability, protection, and long-term spiritual growth. Then he moves from ideas to action. Pastor C.F. discusses planting your resources through stewardship and generosity, and planting your talents by serving. Using 1st Peter 4, he reminds you that you are gifted on purpose, and many callings only get revealed after you step out in faith. He also looks at Tabitha’s story in Acts 9 as a powerful example of how good works and a committed church community can change everything. Planted To Flourish - Part 1

Flourishing sounds poetic until you realize Scripture treats it like a normal Christian life. We open Psalm 92 and get specific: the righteous do not just survive, they flourish like a palm tree, grow strong like a cedar, and keep bearing fruit with a freshness that does not expire. The surprising hinge is not willpower, personality, or perfect circumstances. It is placement. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord flourish, and that idea reshapes how we think about church, discipleship, and long-term spiritual growth.  Pastor C.F.  talks about what “planted” actually looks like in real life: dwelling instead of drifting, putting down roots instead of shopping for constant novelty, and choosing commitment even when church gets messy. Offense is inevitable anywhere people gather, but we challenge the reflex to pull up roots and run. If fruit requires roots, and roots require time, then maturity requires staying power. He also connects Psalm 1’s image of being planted by rivers of water to spiritual nourishment, pastoral leadership, and the steady formation that happens in a healthy local church community.  Even secular research has noticed what the Bible has taught for centuries: regular church attendance can strengthen social support and improve well-being. You were not designed to do life alone, and you do not want to discover you need a church family only when tragedy hits. If you want to grow, serve, and build something bigger than yourself, this message will give you a clear next step. Subscribe, share this with a friend who feels stuck, and leave a review with one way you plan to get planted and stay planted.

How To Stay Focused When Distractions Come

Distraction is not just an annoyance, it is a thief. We’ve all had moments where our attention gets pulled by something small, and suddenly we miss what matters most. That is true on the road, at work, and yes, even in church. Pastor C.F.  talks candidly about how easy it is to drift and how a single distracted moment can keep us from hearing a word from God that could reshape our faith, our decisions, and our future. He digs into what the Bible says about spiritual distractions, including how worry over money and provision can dominate our thoughts, how relationships can pull us toward comfort instead of calling, and why “busy” is not always the same thing as “fruitful.” Pastor C.F. also walks through Mary and Martha and the difference between what is temporary and what is eternal, then connects it to real-life habits like when we read the Bible, how we handle our phones, and how we protect time for prayer and listening to the Holy Spirit. From Galatians to Hebrews, the thread is clear: the flesh fights for control, the enemy looks for the distracted, and focused faith requires maturity. Pastor C.F. talks about serving the Lord without distraction, learning to “put a leash” on our own thoughts, and letting go of both past failures and past successes so we can press toward the goal. He closes with a simple challenge that keeps showing up in Scripture: fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and run your race with endurance. If this message helps you refocus, subscribe to the podcast, share it with a friend who feels pulled in a dozen directions, and leave a review so more people can find it. What is the biggest distraction you need to remove right now?
