    87: Affirmation #39 - Moving with Awareness

In this week’s affirmation, we consider the relationship between awareness, discernment, movement, and stillness.Moving with awareness invites us to notice how we are actually experiencing ourselves rather than automatically following a familiar pace or pattern. Our own rhythm may change from day to day, and discernment can help us recognize what is appropriate for the moment. Balance does not necessarily mean giving equal attention to everything. Sometimes balance asks us to move, sometimes it asks us to pause. There are seasons to push forward, and seasons to rest, and learning to recognize the difference is part of a thoughtful yoga practice - and life practice. Use this affirmation to help set an intention for your day or your yoga practice, help you remain present and focused, create a sense of flow, ground yourself, align with a personal goal. or help improve your self-awareness. You might repeat the affirmation aloud, quietly to yourself, or simply hold one line in your awareness throughout your day or week. Notice what happens when you give yourself permission to slow down and tune into yourself for a moment of self-care. This Week’s Affirmation:   ·        “I move with awareness and trust my own rhythm. Balance restores my body, mind, and spirit. I allow discernment to guide my choices and actions. Harmony arises when I honor both movement and stillness."       Journal Prompts for this affirmation:     1.       Where in my life am I being invited to listen more closely to my own rhythm? 2.       What might change if I honored both movement and stillness as necessary parts of my life?   Consider where you may be moving, deciding, or responding from habit rather than awareness. What does your discernment tell you about when to act, when to pause, and when to allow things to unfold and flow. Salubrity and Soul Yoga Affirmations are a brief contemplative practice intended to support reflection, mindfulness, and a deeper relationship with your yoga practice beyond asana, and yourself.   Subscribe to my newsletter   contact@salubrityandsoulyoga.com   Let’s connect on social media: @salubrityandsoulyoga   salubrityandsoulyoga.com   salubrityandsoulyogacarol.com         Music credits: SOLO" by Mimmi Bangoura   Disclaimer: The content in this podcast is for educational and informational purposes only.
