    Transforming Your Name’s Meaning Your past may be part of your story, but it does not have the authority to define your identity. In this Purpose Wednesday episode, Coach Latasha S. Morgan concludes the five-part series on the importance of your name by exploring what it means to reclaim your identity and transform the meaning associated with your name. Using Jacob’s biblical journey as an example, Coach Latasha explains how a person’s beginning does not have to determine their ending. Jacob was once recognized for deception and pursuing personal gain, but his story did not stop there. Through growth, faith, perseverance, and a life-changing encounter with God, Jacob became Israel. You can grow. You can mature. You can change. You do not have to remain trapped beneath the weight of your past, other people’s opinions, negative family patterns, or an identity that no longer reflects who God is developing you to become.
