Episode 14: Never Too Far Gone: Christin Day’s Story

In this powerful episode of Soul Soldier Speaks, Lindsay Taylor sits down with Christin Day- a dynamic leader, inspirational speaker, and proud woman in long-term recovery from methamphetamine and heroin addiction. Christin’s story is one of resilience and transformation. After years of substance use, incarceration, and losing custody of her children, she rebuilt her life through treatment, faith, and the 12-step fellowship. Now over seven years sober, she serves as Communications and Outreach Manager for Crossroads Inc., one of the largest treatment centers in the Southwest, and brings recovery behind the walls of jails and prisons. Her journey from brokenness to restoration is marked by redemption, service, and purpose. Today, she is happily married, reconciled with her children, a published pageant queen (Mrs. Classic World 2024), and even a New York Fashion Week runway model- using every platform to break stigma and spread hope. Together, Lindsay and Christin dive deep into the ripple effects of overdose, the reality of relapse, the role of therapy and faith, and what it really takes to rebuild a life after devastation. Christin’s message is simple yet profound: “If you’re new and need help- reach out. There is a solution. You are not alone.” 💬 If you or someone you love is struggling, let this story remind you: hope is still alive, freedom is still possible, and your story isn’t over. 📲 Connect with Christin: Instagram: @christinday82 TikTok: @christinday11721

Episode 10: When Men Do The Healing (Part 2 with Glenn)

In this transformative Part 2 with Glenn Lovelace, we dive deep into the emotional experience of being a man—what it means, what society tells us it should mean, and how those definitions can keep men silently suffering. Glenn courageously shares how shame, emotional suppression, and the need to "man up" created many problems in his life—and how doing the deeper healing work was life changing. We talk about the cultural myths around masculinity, the danger of labeling emotions as weakness, and how true strength comes from vulnerability, awareness, and sitting in the tension rather than escaping it. For every man who’s ever felt like expressing emotion would make him “less of a man,” this is the episode that reframes that lie and offers a powerful new way forward. This conversation isn’t just for men—it’s for the women who love them, the parents raising boys, and anyone who believes it’s time to redefine strength. Together, we rise. One honest conversation at a time. 💬 Featuring: Glenn Lovelace | Performance Coach for Men | Creator of The Wingman Foundations Method | Author of Heal the Boy. Episode 9: Heal the Boy, Forge the Man (Part 1)

In this powerful two-part series on Soul Soldier Speaks, I sit down with Glenn Lovelace—Performance Coach for Men, father of seven, husband since 2004, and the creator of The Wingman Foundations Method. Glenn is the author of the upcoming book “Heal the Boy. Forge the Man.”—a message born from the fire of lived experience. On Christmas Eve of 2013, Glenn found himself in a dark desert with a gun in hand, moments away from ending his life. What followed was not the end, but the beginning of a total transformation. From carrying a secret he swore he'd never share to becoming the spark for thousands of men to reclaim their lives, Glenn’s story is proof that rock bottom can become sacred ground. We dive into what it means to escape versus endure, the battle men face with unspoken shame, and how God, grit, and guidance changed everything for him. After winning a national fitness transformation contest in 2017—beating out over 60,000 people and winning $100K—Glenn stepped into purpose, sharing the story that once nearly destroyed him. Glenn now coaches men through emotional mastery, marriage challenges, mindset shifts, and personal victories using his signature program “One Day One Life” . With over 4,000 one-on-one clients since 2008, his mission is simple and powerful: “Your goal is my goal.” Part 2 dives deeper into the unique struggles and societal pressures men face and the book that’s going to help men worldwide reclaim their lives from the inside out. This episode is for every man in the mess, every woman loving one, and every soul soldier fighting to rise. You are not alone. There is hope. And healing is possible. 💬 Featuring: Glenn Lovelace | Performance Coach for Men | Creator of The Wingman Foundations Method | Author of Heal the Boy.
