SEALs In Recovery

SEALs In Recovery

SEALs In Recovery (SIR) is an organization comprised of Navy SEALs (past and present) that is dedicated to supporting our teammates while helping them recover from alcoholism.   SIR is comprised of three (3) components to achieve our results: weekly AA meetings and sponsorship, Outreach Program “Soft Landing” and secure text messaging to stay connected to the group.  SIR will host retreats and events for members as time and our budget permits.   Our SIR meetings and sponsorship are modeled after the traditional 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous, since it has proven to be the most effective recovery method in the world for the past 90 years.   We conduct two (2) meetings per week; one (1) in Virginia Beach every Wednesday and one (1) in Coronado every Thursday.   Members can attend in-person, via Zoom from anywhere in the world or phone-in. SIR members stay connected via a secure text thread for group and individual chat.  Every day a wealth of good advice, support and banter is conducted in our chat room.   Additionally, SIR conducts an Outreach Program called “Soft Landing” that responds to teammates in distress.  Our "Soft Landing" program is designed to physically connect with our teammates and provide options to lessen the burden of his crisis.   Those options may include transportation to a detox or treatment facility, escorting our teammate home from a rehabilitation facility, mentoring him on a program that has worked for us and welcoming him into the SIR network.   We are committed to the service of our brothers and have been SEALs supporting SEALs since 2021.  Visit our website:  www.SEALsInRecovery.com
