The Dullards Club was conceived and created as a safe space where we nurture the mundane and celebrate the monotony of every day life ... lived by those of us whose outlook and interests are just as dull today as they will be tomorrow. We find comfort in minutia that would be too obscure or uninteresting to most others to pay attention to it. Especially those who are busy living a normal life.

    HFT 2-7 20% Off!!

20% off. That's what the Happy Fun Time Players quoted us for their last contract. Turns out they planned on delivering about 13 % fewer shows. (And their math is bad) Basically, summer's over so they flew the coop. So enjoy this last gasp of regurgitated reruns while we put the finishing touches on the next chapter: “The Dullards Club Presents.” Coming soon to a boring interlude near you.Visit our website: https://thedullardsclub.com/ and check out our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567481534797

    HFT 2-3 The Repetition Continues

You thought you’d seen it all. Of course, with this podcast, you probably haven’t seen or heard any of it. And that’s because your usually discerning self is most likely hopelessly lost in the "pod-o-sphere," desperately trying to find something (anything!) to help you pass the time during these long summer days. If that's you, call the Dullards Hopeless Help-Line at (804)322-9483 and we'll do our best to help you make (non)sense of your dilemma. There could even be a prize (or some worthless piece of swag) in it for you. HFT 2-2 Chapter II, eh?

You’ve been waiting for more mayhem, right? More of the same, that is. Yet another romp in the world of the nonsensical. You’ll wonder which end is up. Then, you’ll wonder why you wondered. Hey, what can we say? It’s Summer and It's Fun @TheDullardsClubVisit our website: https://thedullardsclub.com/ and check out our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567481534797

    S4E13 Drive-In Double Feature

The Dullards dredge-up their favorite drive-in memories. Or: What a “B” movie marathon would look like if the movies were actual “C”s and “D”s. Really: “The Thing with 2 Heads?” “The Three Stooges meet Hercules?” (If this podcast is not dull enough for you, these fine “Art House” films are streaming free on Youtube). You’re Welcome! Then, what would a Dullards Club meeting be without a Daily Gripe or two. As always we share some nuggets from our meticulously curated collection of Jokes. Some are on-target while others don’t quite “stick the landing.” And if you like to be mentally challenged (let’s face it, this describes most Dullards) this week’s Stumpers will make you feel like the smartest person among your very small circle of friends. If we missed some details along the way feel free to complain to us at our new Customer Service line: (804)322-9483. Of course, we are currently experiencing higher than normal call volumes but rest assured; it's a real number, your call is very important to us and Dullards are standing by, waiting for you to navigate our insanely complex and tedious “Interactive Voice Response” system @TheDullardsClub Visit our website: https://thedullardsclub.com/ and check out our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567481534797

    S4E12 The Three Dullards

If you’re ever in a boring conversation with a Dullard of a certain age, a casual mention of any Three Stooges episode should liven things up. Just pick a scene, or a bit; whether it's as fish mongers (the only occupation they ever attempted that had some semblance of a “business plan” - “Buy a Boat and cut out the Middleman”) Swingin' the Alphabet (“B-A-bay, B-E-bee”) Micro-Phonies (“The Voices of Spring”), or picking their marriage partners from a hat (“I got Florabelle”, “I got Corabelle”, “I got Stetson! Which one is she?”) You could always bring up forgettable movies from the late 50’s like “Sweet and Hot” featuring the equally forgettable Joe Besser’s “sister”, Tiny. Whichever you choose, as they say, “the Bits will just Keep on Coming.” In any case, something tells me it won’t be the last time we go down this road. As always, there’s a Daily Gripe. A Joke or two as well as our inexhaustible capacity to misremember or just plain forget things we used to know. Yes, we’re Stumped once again @TheDullardsClub Visit our website: https://thedullardsclub.com/ and check out our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567481534797

S4E11 “There Should be a Law!”

More unbridled, unfettered and lawless chicanery. First, a warning: “Do not trust the white space.” So, have you seen any good movies lately? How did you find them? And, a rant about idiots masquerading as responsible drivers. Then the jokes come fast and furious (and a little bit funny). Here is a question for the true Dullards out there: Are you easily stumped? S4E10 Pump Up The Volume!

We make an argument for silent movies. Then, are all Duct Cleaners permitted to suck? (With or without a permit) After all, it's how they get the job done. And the hits just keep on coming. So do the jokes. Construction themed and ethnic. Right up our alley. Now let’s test your worthless knowledge. Do you think you know stuff? The categories this week are: Stooges, 60s Music and Fake pop groups. S4E9 The “Not So Deep Fake”

As usual, we’ve got a bone to pick with someone for something. Now, keep your eyes on the road while your car keeps its eyes on you. And that‘s just the tip of the iceberg. . . (iceberg lettuce that is) for which you need to leave an exorbitant tip. How’s that for a mashup? This all could make sense . . but only if you hear the podcast. But wait, there’s more. Rim-shots, anyone? There’s jokes galore and to no one’s surprise, we’re stumped by a Super hero’s song by a "Rasta-Man." Will you be too?
