Out Of Her Mind with Kobi Pollock - The Podcast

Kobi Pollock

Out Of Her Mind with Kobi Pollock: The Podcast for the woman that wants more. Out Of Her Mind with Kobi Pollock is a podcast for women who are tired of overthinking their lives and ready to come home to themselves. Through nervous system regulation, embodiment, slow living, NLP, and lived experience, Kobi explores how the stories we tell and the state we live from shape everything. Because real change doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from getting out of your mind and back into your body. This is your space if you’re done being exhausted, constantly giving to everyone else, and feeling buried beneath the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of life. If you’ve ever whispered to yourself, “There has to be more than this…” you’re in the right place. Out of her mind is not just a podcast... it's a movement, for the woman who is ready to come home to herself. To remember who she is beneath the titles, to reclaim her energy, her desires, and her joy. Here, we believe that.. WOMEN DON'T HEAL ALONE,  WE HEAL IN THE REFLECTIONS OF EACH OTHER.  When we share our stories, we create sacred mirrors. Spaces where we are seen, heard, accepted, and awakened. Because sometimes, it takes witnessing another woman’s truth to finally recognise our own. A few things I love are slow living, nature, reading, journaling, roller skating, animals (specifically goats and horses), helping others, my 2 boys and husband, living this amazing life.  Subscribe now and step into the next level of your life. How I move through a bad day!

In today’s episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal, a bad day I had just yesterday. For over a week I’d been feeling exhausted, emotional, and a little off… until it all caught up with me. The tears, the overwhelm, the inability to think clearly...  it hit hard. I’m a life coach, breathwork facilitator, and nurse and I still have bad days. Not because I’m failing, but because I’m human. In this episode, I walk you through the exact process I use to support myself when everything feels heavy. I call it the RECLAIM Reset — a gentle framework to help you recognise what’s happening, reach for support, choose yourself, allow the emotions to move, and take aligned action to move forward. This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about listening, responding, and choosing again. You are not broken. You are listening.  And you don’t have to do this alone. You don't need a breakdown to change. Episode #35

Feeling stuck, numb, or just “functioning” through life?  In this episode of Out of Her Mind, Kobi Pollock dives into why you don’t need a breakdown to change your life. Drawing on her experience as a nurse, NLP and hypnosis practitioner, and breathwork facilitator, Kobi speaks into the small, quiet nudges of desire we often ignore, the ones that show us the life we truly want. Learn why numbness is your nervous system surviving, how slowing down and reconnecting to your body can help you step forward, and why desire is a valid reason to change. This episode is filled with guidance, gentle embodiment exercises, and the reassurance that women don’t heal alone, we heal in the reflections of each other. If you’re ready to step out of autopilot, tune in and discover how to listen, reconnect, and choose the life you actually want without waiting for a breakdown. 3. “How Long Until I Feel Calm?” The Truth About Nervous System Regulation

“How Long Until I Feel Calm?” The Truth About Nervous System Regulation

How long does it actually take to regulate your nervous system? How long until you stop snapping, stop overreacting, and start responding calmly, especially with the people you love most? This is one of the most common questions I’m asked, and in this episode of Out of Her Mind, I’m answering it honestly, compassionately, and without the pressure to “fix yourself.” Inside this episode, I share: Why responding instead of reacting is not a personality trait, but a nervous system capacityHow awareness is not proof you’re failing, but proof you’re building regulationMy own journey from extreme burnout to creating a life I once believed was impossibleA client story that shows how quickly shifts can happen and why it’s different for everyoneWhy nervous system healing is not linear, and what to do when it feels slowThe simple practice that helps shorten the gap between trigger and responseHow slowing down actually speeds up your healingYou’ll also be guided through a short, gentle breath practice to help you come out of your mind and back into your body, creating safety, calm, and presence in real time. If you’ve ever thought “Why am I like this?” or “I should be better by now”, this episode is for you. You are not broken.  You are not failing.  Your nervous system is learning safety and that changes everything. 4. Why you still feel "not good enough" - How your nervous system & beliefs were wired.

    JAN 13

Why you still feel "not good enough" - How your nervous system & beliefs were wired.

Have you ever wondered why the same patterns keep showing up in your life no matter how much “work” you do? In this episode of Out of Her Mind, I’m diving deep into how limiting beliefs are formed, why they live in your body and nervous system (not just your thoughts), and why lasting change starts with safety not forcing yourself to “think positive.” Using simple, relatable examples, I explain: How our earliest experiences (ages 0–7) create unconscious beliefsWhy we make events mean something about who we areHow beliefs like “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not worthy,” or “I’m not loved” get reinforced over timeThe role of the nervous system and why change doesn’t stick when we’re stuck in survival modeHow your brain’s reticular activating system (RAS) keeps proving your beliefs trueWhy slowing down and coming back into your body is the first step to rewiring your mindI also share parts of my own story... burnout, survival mode, and rebuilding my life and why this work is at the heart of the Out of Her Mind movement. We finish with a gentle grounding practice to help you drop out of your mind and into your body, because you don’t need to be doing more to be worthy. You already are. If this episode resonates, I invite you to reach out, share your story, or simply take three deep breaths today and come back to yourself. 6. Decision making.... let's make it easy!

    12/18/2025

Decision making.... let's make it easy!

In this episode of Out of Her Mind, we’re talking about something so many women struggle with ..... decision-making. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your head, overwhelmed by options, or afraid of making the “wrong” choice, this episode is for you. I share why decision-making isn’t actually about finding the right answer, it’s about self-trust, nervous system regulation, and feeling safe within yourself. We explore how a heightened nervous system, people-pleasing, and the belief of “I’m not good enough” can quietly sabotage our ability to choose what we truly want. You’ll learn: Why overthinking is a nervous system response, not a personal flawHow decision-making is deeply connected to self-worthHow your body holds the answer before your mind starts debatingThe role of NLP and representational systems in how you make decisionsSimple tools to calm your system and simplify choicesWhy there is no failure... only feedbackI’ll guide you through practical regulation tools, grounding practices, and powerful questions to help you move from chaos to clarity, and from self-doubt to self-trust. This episode is a reminder that clarity comes from calm, not pressure, and that the goal isn’t to make perfect decisions it’s to become the woman who trusts herself no matter what. Because women don’t heal alone, we heal in the reflections of each other. *NOTE - In this episode I spoke of a podcast I'd previously done about Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) turns out I must have imagined that haha. So keep an eye out for the next podcast which will explain NLP, why it works and how it's so powerful. xx Let me know what you thought of this episode: Thanks for tuning in to Out Of Her Mind with Kobi Pollock, it's in these conversations, the true meaning of WOMEN DON'T HEAL ALONE, WE HEAL IN THE REFLECTIONS OF EACHOTHER becomes known.
