Episode 85: I Was the Only Woman in the Room with Alex Hormozi's Team

I was dragged to Las Vegas a year and a half ago by my 73 year old mom who bought a ticket to an Alex Hormozi workshop and refused to go alone. And somehow that ended up with me sitting in a room for the fourth time this week, getting my business and five others pulled apart by his team. In this episode I am sharing everything I took away from that experience, live from my hotel room, because I want you to hear it while it is still fresh. I talk about what it was like being the only woman in that room, why I started crying before we even got into the business stuff, and why the men around me started crying too. I also share what the advisor said about my numbers that I genuinely needed to hear after the year I have had. On the tactical side I get into the constraint concept and why your business can only grow to the level of the problem you are willing to solve, why eliminating is actually the most intelligent scaling strategy, what volume of action actually gives you, and why the data is what makes you money not the hustle. I also talk about why I have intentionally kept my revenue growth steady while cutting my working hours down and why I am more proud of that than any big revenue number. And yes, my heel broke in the middle of all of it. That story is in here too. This one is real and it is worth a listen. Since you're here, I want to personally invite you into a free complimentary strategy session with me. We'll look at where you are right now, what's pulling your focus in too many directions, and the one strategy that actually fits your business so you can stop dabbling and start scaling. 👉🏼 Book your free Strategy Session   Timestamps 00:00 How my mom dragged me to Las Vegas and where it led02:38 What the advisor said that made me cry in a room full of men04:58 The constraint concept and what is actually blocking your growth06:23 Why eliminating is the smartest scaling move you can make09:34 How standards create culture in your business and your life13:15 Why action gives you data and data makes you money19:38 Getting honest about what you actually want your business to be

Episode 84: My 74-Year-Old Mom on How to Sell Without Losing Yourself

My mom has been in business for 50 years. She pioneered an entire field of somatic movement when there were two yoga studios in the whole country. And she built it by talking to everyone. The bank teller. The grocery store clerk. Everyone. Because she genuinely believed her work could change their life. In this episode we get into what sales actually is at its core, and I have to say, hearing my mom put words to it the way she did stopped me in my tracks. We talk about why believing in the person in front of you is what actually closes the sale, why every single conversation you have is a sales call whether you realise it or not, and what it really means to go all the way through with someone instead of dropping off in the last five minutes when it gets uncomfortable. We also get into the two trajectories you are always presenting in a sales conversation, why people pay now or pay later with interest, and how to take someone all the way to a real yes without using fear tactics or hype. Just reality. This one is for anyone who still feels weird about selling. By the end of it I think you will see it completely differently. Since you're here, I want to personally invite you into a free complimentary strategy session with me. Episode 83: My 74-Year-Old Mom on 50 Years in Business: Why Balance Is a Lie and Retirement Is Ridiculous

This episode is a conversation with my mom, who has been in business for 50 years, raised three kids with her husband who also ran a business, had staff in the house, neighborhood kids coming and going, and somehow made it all work. She is 74 and just started a new business. And she has more to say about what it actually takes to build a life and a business than most people I have ever met. We talk about why balance is not the goal and juggling actually is, how she dealt with decades of criticism for the way she worked, mothered, and lived, and why not being afraid to share everything you have is what keeps relationships and businesses alive. I also share what it was like growing up in that environment, how it shaped the way I run my business and my family now, and why I never wanted her to move her office out of my bedroom when I was 13. We get into attitude trackers, task versus attitude, what it means to not be a victim to your feelings, and the one thing my mom said that I think every woman in business needs to hear right now. This one hit different. I think you are going to love it. Since you're here, I want to personally invite you into a free complimentary strategy session with me. Episode 82: How Knowing How to Sell Saved My Life — And Why It Will Change Your Clients’ Lives Too

At the beginning of this year I was handed a life card I was not expecting. A lot of pain. A lot of unknown. And the one thing that carried me through was the skill of selling. Not selling to clients. Selling myself on a future I could not yet see. In this episode I am sharing something I have never talked about publicly before. And I am sharing it because I think every single person who has ever held back in their sales process needs to hear this. All sales is, is a transference of belief. Someone does not buy from you because they do not think they can have the outcome they want. It is not about you. It is about their own belief in what is possible for their life. And your job is to crack that open. I talk about why selling is genuinely the kindest thing you can do for another person, what it actually means to meet someone in their objection, and why giving up on someone in the sales process is the one thing you should never do. Because when you do not give up on people, when you hold the possibility for them that they cannot hold for themselves, that is where lives change. I have seen it with my clients again and again. And this year I lived it myself. Since you're here, I want to personally invite you into a free complimentary strategy session with me. We'll look at where you are right now, what's pulling your focus in too many directions, and the one strategy that actually fits your business so you can stop dabbling and start scaling. 👉🏼 Book your free Strategy Session   Timestamps 00:00 The life card that changed everything for me this year00:29 What sales actually is at its core01:58 How I sold myself on a future I did not know was possible03:22 Why selling is a belief transference not a convincing05:43 Meeting someone in their limitation and opening a door they cannot see08:04 Why not giving up on people is the greatest gift you can give

Episode 81: How to Build a Marketing Ecosystem That Does 90% of the Selling For You

Here are the show notes: Episode Title: Why Your Sales Calls Should Not Be Doing the Selling If your sales calls are where the selling is happening, we need to talk. 90% of your sales process should be done before someone ever gets on the phone with you. And in this episode I am breaking down exactly how to design your marketing to do that work so that by the time someone books a call, they are already sold. They are just confirming you are the right person. I walk you through what I call the Wealthy Woman Marketing Ecosystem, how it works, why it works, and how it is what allowed me to ditch launching altogether and maintain over 400K a year in recurring revenue with a genuinely simple business. We get into why your messaging is the step most people skip and what it actually needs to do, what your social media job really is and it is not to get likes, how your DMs work as a temperature check not a cold pitch, and why when your marketing is built right your sales calls become confirmation calls. This is the thing that changed everything for me. And it is what I build out with every single client because when it is designed for you and your business, you stop dreading sales and start realising you were never really selling at all. Since you're here, I want to personally invite you into a free complimentary strategy session with me. We'll look at where you are right now, what's pulling your focus in too many directions, and the one strategy that actually fits your business so you can stop dabbling and start scaling. 👉🏼 Book your free Strategy Session   Timestamps 00:00 Why your sales call is not where the selling should happen01:49 How this allowed me to ditch launching and still hit 400K a year03:12 Why followers and likes actually mean nothing04:07 The messaging step most people skip entirely06:26 How to move people through your ecosystem step by step07:22 Your DMs as a temperature check not a pitch09:18 What a confirmation call actually looks like
