    Brokenness That God Can Use - General Teaching

    In a world that values self-sufficiency and strength, brokenness is often seen as a sign of defeat. But in God’s kingdom, our places of brokenness are where His strength truly begins. Before God uses a person mightily, He often breaks them greatly—shattering pride, old mindsets, and self-reliance to make room for His divine purpose. Join us for "Brokenness That God Can Use," a study exploring how God transforms human weakness into spiritual power. Through biblical examples like Jacob wrestling at Peniel, Joseph in Egypt, Moses in the wilderness, and Peter after the denial, we will discover why broken people stop fighting God and start walking in true blessing. Come learn why God must break us of ourselves so He can shape us, strengthen us, and use us for His glory. We cannot be used by God until we are broken of ourselves. By yielding our control, heartbreaks, and limitations to Him, we allow the Master Potter to reshape our defeat into a lasting blessing.

    The Cleansing of the Temple, Part 1 - General Teaching

    In this lesson on John 2:12–22, we examine Jesus’ dramatic clearing of the temple and what it reveals about personal holiness, spiritual purity, and reverence for God's house. Overview & Key Themes Garbage In, Garbage Out: What we allow into our hearts and minds ultimately shapes our actions and spiritual condition. The condition of the temple reflected the spiritual state of the people. Scripture Revealed in the Ordinary: Though the disciples were regarded as "unlearned men," they were steeped in the Scriptures. Seeing Jesus act, they were immediately reminded of Psalm 69:9: "For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up." Purging the Obvious and Public Offenses: Jesus began by driving out the public, high-visibility corruption. The practices of the money changers were a direct offense against God, demonstrating that true worship requires us to first cleanse ourselves of obvious, outward sin. Purging the Profane: Jesus poured out the coins, showing complete contempt for the commercialization of holy things. Under God's law (Exodus 30:13), temple money was intended to maintain worship and serve as a ransom offering—not to generate corrupt profit.

Far beyond simply meeting a social need at a celebration, this miracle served as a deliberate, powerful sign designed to inaugurate His earthly ministry and establish His divine authority. Through this sign, Christ demonstrated His complete control over time and salvation, while explicitly confronting and transcending the spiritual state of Israel.

    Unity - General Teaching

    This lesson explores the calling of Christ’s first disciples in John 1:35–51 to reveal how genuine, transformative unity takes root and spreads. Just as Jesus gathered individuals from different walks of life into a single, shared purpose, the church today is called to be spiritually unified around one mission: lifting up Christ. True unity begins in our homes, flows into the local church, and extends outward into a world desperately needing reconciliation. Through this study, we are challenged to examine our witness: when newcomers walk into our church, do they encounter a body united in Christ or a community fractured by personal opinions and insignificant differences? By looking to the example of Jesus—whose life was defined by self-giving ministry and unifying a broken world—we will learn how to lay down personal agendas and live as a compelling, unified force for the Gospel.

Moving from anxiety to awe, Habakkuk responds to terror with a profound, reverent fear of the Lord—a reverence that replaces human panic with divine peace. This sermon explores what it means to practice biblical fear and obedience, as commanded in Ecclesiastes 12:13, by beholding the full character of Almighty God: God of Majesty: Discover the weight of His glorious presence, revealed in the thunderous glory of Psalm 29:4 and His unparalleled sovereignty in Isaiah 46:9. God of Might: Look back at scripture’s greatest displays of His power to remember that no crisis in your life is beyond His command.     The Transition Between the Old and New Tabernacle - General Teaching

    To read a book about God is one thing, but to experience His presence directly changes everything. This lesson explores how the physical sanctuary of Israel was never meant to be the end destination—it was a dynamic prophecy, a living picture designed to point directly to Jesus Christ, the true New Testament Tabernacle. In Exodus 29:38-46, God instituted the daily morning and evening sacrifices so that He might dwell among His people. Just as the earthly Tabernacle served as the physical manifestation of God’s glory and the sole bridge between God and man, John 1:18 reveals that Jesus declared—and fully revealed—the unseen Father to us. Jesus came to fulfill every shadow, ceremony, and symbol contained within the ancient sanctuary walls. From Shadow to Substance: Discover how the repetitive ritual offerings in Psalm 40 and Hebrews 10 were set aside. Jesus stepped forward as the final, complete sacrifice, replacing temporary ceremonies with an eternal covenant. The True Door: Examine John 10:7-9 to see how Jesus acts as the sole entry point into God's presence, mirroring the single gate that led into the Old Testament court. A Transformed Relationship: The Old Testament wilderness sanctuary demonstrated God's desire to live among believers. This study provides an opportunity for a deeper appreciation for the unity of Scripture, recognizing how every detail of the Exodus tabernacle finds its absolute fulfillment in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    The Fulness of God - General Teaching

    At the moment of salvation, believers receive the boundless, complete fulness of God through Jesus Christ—the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth. Yet, walking in that fulness is an ongoing journey. While our initial spiritual measure is given in full, we must daily cultivate a deep desire to be continuously refilled and sustained by God’s power and strength throughout our lives. This lesson addresses the subtle trap of self-reliance. When we attempt to navigate life through our own intellect, effort, and strength, we inevitably run dry and fall short. True fulfillment, lasting peace, and ultimate truth are found only in Him. Everything God provides is absolute, lacking nothing, and completely sufficient for every season we face.
