    Episode 83 I'm Fine?

How many times has someone asked how you’re doing and you’ve automatically responded: “I’m fine.” But were you? In Episode 83 of The RADcast, Greg and Matt dig into why “I’m fine” has become our default response—and what might actually be hiding underneath it. Fear. Pride. Shame. Ego. Or simply not knowing who we can trust enough to tell the truth. Coming off the powerful conversation with Geoff Trapani in Episode 82, Greg and Matt explore an important truth: functioning isn’t the same as healing. You can show up for work, your family, your crew, and everyone around you while still struggling internally. They talk about vulnerability, the people we trust enough to be real with, why simply listening can be powerful, and how one honest conversation can impact someone far beyond what we may ever realize. The conversation also turns to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Even Jesus acknowledged the weight of what He was experiencing and shared that sorrow with those closest to Him before surrendering it to God. Faith doesn’t require us to pretend everything is okay. This week’s RAD Way challenges you to Recognize where you’re saying “I’m fine” when you’re not, Acknowledge why you’re hiding behind that answer, and Decide to tell one person you trust the truth. Because being Resilient Another Day doesn’t mean pretending nothing hurts. You don’t have to tell everybody everything. But you shouldn’t have to tell everybody you’re fine either. Episode 82: A Firefighter's Faith & Resilience

What happens when the life you built, the career you loved, and the identity you carried are suddenly taken away? In Episode 82 of The RADcast, Greg sits down with longtime friend and retired Ontario Fire Captain Geoff Trapani for one of our most vulnerable conversations yet. Geoff shares his journey from CAL FIRE to the Ontario Fire Department, eventually becoming a Captain, Training Captain, and union president. The fire service wasn’t just his career—it had become a huge part of who he was. Then everything changed. A serious spinal injury ultimately ended Geoff’s firefighting career and forced him into a transition he never planned for. But his physical injury was only part of the story. Geoff opens up about his battle with alcohol, reaching a point where he had made plans to end his life, and the moment his wife said something in her sleep that stopped him in his tracks: “Whatever the f**k you’re thinking about doing, don’t do it.” What followed was a journey of sobriety, vulnerability, faith, surrender, and discovering that maybe God's plan was bigger than the one Geoff had written for himself. Greg and Geoff talk about Jeremiah 29:11, suffering, identity after the fire service, asking for help, marriage, sobriety, and learning to recognize God working through the people He places in our lives. Sometimes being resilient another day isn't about gutting it out. Sometimes it's admitting you can't do it alone. And sometimes the life you thought was falling apart is actually being redirected. Hope over fear. Find your one-of-one purpose. Lead with love. Much Love and as always, Stay Rad! @theRADcastpod @geoff_trapani

Episode 80: WB80 — What Would Wyatt Do?

Strength Courage Love = WB80 Episode 80 of The RADcast is a special one. In honor of the 80th episode, Greg sits down with longtime friend Justina Boatright to honor the life and legacy of her husband, Wyatt Boatright — WB80. A lifelong friend of Greg’s, Wyatt was a husband, father, athlete, friend, and the kind of man whose quiet strength left an impact on everyone around him. After being diagnosed with ALS, Wyatt and his family were forced into a fight they never asked for. Over five years, Justina watched her best friend and husband progressively lose his ability to use his arms, walk, eat and speak. But what ALS never took from Wyatt was who he was. His humor. His love for his family. His strength. His courage. And his determination to keep living. One of Wyatt’s reminders to Justina became incredibly powerful: “You don’t have to. You get to.” You don’t have to work out—you get to.You don’t have to drive your kids to practice—you get to.You don’t have to live today—you get to. That perspective continues to guide Justina and their three boys today. Greg and Justina talk openly about ALS, anticipatory grief, caregiving, receiving help, raising their boys through unimaginable circumstances, finding hope when there is no easy answer, and what it means to truly be resilient another day. They also share the story behind the WB Foundation, which grew from the community that rallied around the Boatright family. Today, the foundation carries Wyatt’s legacy forward by helping other families affected by ALS—including supporting families financially, helping provide Christmas gifts for children, and hosting its annual golf tournament. Strength. Courage. Love. Keep moving forward. Make today count. Love your people. And remember: You get to. WB Foundation: The episode gives the website as wbfoundation.net and Instagram as @thewbfoundation. https://www.als.net/ To support the WB Foundation, participate in the golf tournament, volunteer, or learn more about helping families affected by ALS, visit the WB Foundation or reach out through @theRADcastpod. Episode 77 The Life You're Missing

What if the life you've been praying for... is the one you're too busy to notice? In a world that celebrates hustle, productivity, and packed calendars, it's easy to believe that being busy means you're living with purpose. But what if busyness is actually keeping you from the very life God has called you to live? In this episode of The RADcast, Greg and Carrie explore how constant busyness can disconnect us from ourselves, our families, and our relationship with God. Through honest conversations about hustle culture, parenting, emotional healing, stillness, and faith, they unpack why slowing down isn't laziness—it's one of the most courageous steps you can take toward living abundantly. Drawing from Scripture, including Psalm 46:10, Luke 10:38-42, John 10:10, this episode is an invitation to stop preparing to live... and start living. Why busyness has become a badge of honor in our cultureHow stillness helps us hear God's voiceThe difference between being productive and being presentWhy healing begins when we stop running from ourselvesHow slowing down creates space for joy, connection, and purposePractical ways to become more present with God and the people you loveIn This Episode:This Week's RAD Challenge Recognize: Where is busyness stealing your presence?
