‘Eclectic Eccentrics’ looks at some marvellous, and some not so marvellous, individuals who have been described as ‘Eccentric’ somewhere along the way. Their stories might delight, terrify or intrigue you, but they will alway entertain. www.alexwjcreative.com Info@alexwjcreative.com (If you have enjoyed this free content, please consider supporting this podcast and my other projects by ‘Buying Me A Coffee’ - buymeacoffee.com/alexwjcreative) eclecticeccentrics.substack.com

    LYNDON YORKE - Eclectic Eccentrics (S3 E5)

Lyndon Yorke is a modern day eccentric and not just any eccentric either, no, he is in fact the GREATEST BRITISH ECCENTRIC! Join me as we take a look at how this came to be and at other so-called eccentrics that he had to ward off to be crowned #1! This is a public episode. HOWARD HUGHES - Eclectic Eccentrics (S3 E4)

This is an interesting and difficult episode episode if I say so myself. As you will hear Howard Hughes prompts us to query what is an eccentric and at what point is eccentricity actually an illness? Hughes also provides a dark example of the power of wealth and the detriment this has on others. This is a public episode. EDITH SITWELL - Eclectic Eccentrics (S3 E3)

Edith Sitwell was a poet, creative and eccentric performer. She also authored the book ‘English Eccentrics’ which, in part, is why I started this podcast so she is a very important person indeed! This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit eclecticeccentrics.substack.com

    FRANCIS EGERTON - Eclectic Eccentrics (S3 E2)

I like cats, which is great because this episode includes cats… and dogs for you canine lovers out there. Francis Egerton was a man who also liked his animals and made sure they had the best of the best… unless of course they became roguish, then there would be trouble! This is a public episode.
