I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.

    Episode 122 Monday 4th May

    Send us Fan Mail Monday. Although today is a Bank Holiday, I have to pay off my new car. I came up with a solution. Then it's lunchtime, I have my lunch and head for the gym. After an hour, I go home and have dinner, cook my work food and then go to bed. Tuesday. Back to work! Getting the key to the place is late, and I have minutes to check the building. I then head on my round with further delays. And then home. Wednesday. Late with the keys again. I get the keys and have enough time to pay Ponko the second instalment on my car. I then proceed with my round, with all buildings being clean. Then home, dinner and then cook my second lot of work food. Thursday. This is the first step of my new future, as I go and service and M.O.T my old car. I then get to work; I get the keys and clean the buildings. I then head back to get my car and then go home. Friday. The end of the week! I do my rounds, and they are all clean. At the end of the day, I head for home and then have my evening session at the gym. Then home, and I switch the insurance to the new car and terminate the Direct Debit to Lex Autolease. I then go to bed. Saturday. Today is just chilling. I pay to attend a conference at the end of the month. In the evening, I have my fish and chips and then watch some t.v and then go to bed. Sunday. Is different today, as the first part is that I watch Sunday Politics East and then go and do my shopping in Bar Hill. I then return home, and at 4.30 I go to church. I come home, watch some T.v and then go to bed.

    Episode 119 Monday 13th April

    Send us Fan Mail Monday. The week of my wife's funeral. I have Cancelled gym as my mind is not on everything except the funeral. Tuesday. Nothing Specific except rest and reflection. Wednesday. The preperations begin as I go for a Haircut. I return home and relax and spend the day contemplating my future. Reflection and hymns playing in the background. Thursday. The day of the funeral. I start by making sure the house is clean and then as guests arrive I have a cry. The hearse arrives and we wait for my in laws but they never turn up. The funeral procession makes its way to the church where my in-laws are. My in-laws do not wait and they enter the church as we wait. The service begins as we process into the church. The singer sings the processional music and then we have a welcome and then a hymn the first part of the eulogy is delivered by the chaplin and then my younger brother reads " A letter to Sarah". Then my older brother reads a passage from the bible. And the chaplin plays the AI cloned voiced of my wife reading "When tomorrow starts without me". We then have prayers and then music for reflection another hymn and then the exit music. My family and I head for the Crematorium but my in-laws don't follow. I have a surprise My cousins are there to support me during the committal. Then its back home and the wake. In the evening I go to my mums for a sleep over just to make sure I am ok. Friday. I return home and spend the day in quiet reflection and then I go to bed early. Saturday. Is a day just watching videos. t.v and Youtube. I have my fish and chips and then watch some more t.v and then to bed. Sunday. I do the usual watch Sunday politics East and then to Bar Hill for the weekly shop and then home. I then in the evening cook sunday roast and then watch some more t.v and then to bed.
