The Will of God for your life - Rhulani Mkhathswa

Rather than getting lost in anxiety over everyday choices (career, relationship decisions, or future plans), believers are reminded that God’s primary will for your life is your sanctification and holiness—becoming more like Jesus Christ.Key Scriptures & Biblical Principles1 Thessalonians 4:3: "It is God’s will that you should be sanctified."Romans 8:29 & 2 Corinthians 3:18: God’s eternal purpose is for believers to be transformed continually into the image and likeness of His Son.Isaiah 6:1–8:In the presence of God’s supreme holiness ("Holy, holy, holy"), Isaiah stopped comparing himself to others and realised his own brokenness ("Woe to me... I am a man of unclean lips").God did not cast him away; instead, He purified Isaiah with a coal from the altar, took away his guilt, and empowered him to say, "Here I am, send me."Philippians 2:12–13: Believers are called to work out (live out) the salvation God has already worked into them.Main TakeawaysFocus on Character Over Career (The "Who" Before the "Do")God is far more concerned with who you are becoming than simply what you do.The greatest achievement in life is not worldly success, titles, or status, but how closely your life reflects Christ.Holiness in the Small, Daily DecisionsSanctification often looks ordinary rather than spectacular: choosing to bite your tongue, forgiving when hurt, exercising patience, acting with integrity when no one is watching, and serving quietly.Heaven celebrates the everyday victories of character and self-control.Surrounding Yourself with AccountabilityBelievers should place themselves in communities and roles (such as serving in church) that foster holiness, encourage spiritual growth, and hold them accountable.Obedience is a "Thank You"Pursuing holiness is not about earning God’s favour or trying to save ourselves—Jesus has already paid the price.Every act of obedience, service, and sacrifice is simply an expression of deep gratitude for the grace and salvation we have received.Central TakeawayYou don't need to be paralysed wondering about God's will for tomorrow. God's will is for you to walk in holiness, reflect Christ, and live faithfully right now, today.

The God who sees me - Gerhard Goosen

The message addresses the deep human need to feel loved, accepted, and recognised, especially when life makes us feel unseen, unnoticed, forgotten, or isolated. Valued." Gerhard centres the sermon on the story of Hagar in Genesis 16: After facing mistreatment, Hagar fled alone into the barren wilderness. The Angel of the Lord met her at a spring in the desert, spoke directly to her, called her by name (which Abraham and Sarah had never done in Scripture), listened to her pain, and gave her a promise for the future. In response, Hagar named God El Roi—"The God Who Sees Me"—and called the well Beer-lahai-roi ("The well of the Living One who sees me"). Three Main Takeaways God Values You While the world may treat people as invisible or simply a means to an end, God knows each person intimately and calls them by name. His love is personal, profound, and demonstrated fully through Jesus. God Hears You Even though God already knows everything about our situations, He invites authentic conversation and desires to hear our voices. He is attentive to our cries in moments of distress and affliction. God Sees You God is not observing from an aloof, detached distance—He is actively involved in the details of our lives. He sees our past, present, and future, meeting us right in our "wilderness" moments to bring His presence, promise, and renewed perspective. Central Principle "To be seen is to be heard, and to be heard is to be valued." When we realize that God truly sees and understands us, it shifts our perspective on our circumstances and gives us the courage to trust Him and press forward.

    Fear Not - Ian Weeden

The message focuses on overcoming the paralyzing, complacent fear that prevents believers from stepping into their God-given destiny, emphasizing that God equips us through the continual presence and power of the Holy Spirit.Key Scriptures & Biblical Examples2 Timothy 1:6–7 (Anchor Text):“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”Paul constantly urged Timothy (around 14 times in 1 & 2 Timothy) to be bold and strong as he led the church in the pagan city of Ephesus.Joshua: Repeatedly commanded to "fear not, be strong and courageous" when stepping into the promised land.Gideon (Judges 6): Was hiding in a winepress out of fear, asking where God's power was, until the Lord called him a "mighty warrior" and reminded him: "I am with you."The Early Church (Acts 4 & Pentecost): Despite immense cultural pressure and persecution, early believers lived distinct, bold lives because they were filled with the Holy Spirit and relied on God's power rather than shrinking back.Main TakeawaysBeware of Complacent Fear & "The Winepress"The fear addressed isn't healthy caution (like running from danger), but rather the incapacitating fear that drives believers into hiding, routine, and isolation from God’s calling. When life's pressures rise, it is easy to retreat and forget that God is with us.Stir Up the Gift: The Holy SpiritThe primary gift given to every believer is the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).Unlike Old Testament times where the Spirit came upon specific individuals temporarily, New Testament believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and called to be continually filled.Power, Love, and a Sound MindBelievers are equipped with divine power (external/supernatural ability), genuine love, and mental clarity and truth in a chaotic world.Living Boldly in Our CommunityJust as the early church boldly displayed their faith without arrogance in pagan cities like Ephesus, believers today are called to walk with conviction and make a real difference in their community and daily work.Central TakeawayGod has not called you to hide in fear or routine. Come out of the "winepress," draw continually on the Holy Spirit, and step boldly into the future God has prepared for you.
