Why Don't We Use The Bible Jesus Used? - Stephen Hackett

🔥 LIVE TONIGHT at 8 PM EASTERN! 🔥 Why does the Old Testament in your Bible sometimes read differently from the Old Testament quoted by Jesus and the apostles? Tonight we’re joined by  @BiblicalStudiesandReviews  from Biblical Studies & Reviews for a deep dive into one of the most fascinating and overlooked subjects in biblical studies: the Septuagint vs. the Masoretic Text. Most Protestant and Evangelical Old Testaments today are translated primarily from the Masoretic Text, a medieval Hebrew textual tradition. But when you open the New Testament, many quotations of the Old Testament closely follow the Greek Septuagint, often called the LXX, which was widely used in the ancient Jewish and early Christian world. So what happened? Why did Protestant Christianity eventually base its Old Testament primarily on the Masoretic Hebrew tradition rather than the Greek Septuagint used so extensively by the earliest Christians? Why do some Old Testament passages quoted in the New Testament appear noticeably different from what you find when you turn to that same passage in your modern Protestant Bible? And when the Septuagint, Masoretic Text, and Dead Sea Scrolls disagree, which reading is older? Tonight we’re getting into ALL of it. We’ll be discussing the history of the Septuagint, when and why the Hebrew Scriptures were translated into Greek, how the New Testament authors quoted the Old Testament, the development of the Masoretic textual tradition, the influence of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and why modern Bible translations sometimes choose one ancient reading over another. We’ll also tackle some huge questions: 📖 Did Jesus and the apostles use the Septuagint? 📖 How often does the New Testament follow the Septuagint instead of the Masoretic Text? 📖 Are there theological differences between the LXX and the Masoretic Text? 📖 Why are certain books found in ancient Greek Old Testaments but absent from Protestant Bibles? 📖 Did the Protestant Reformation change which Old Testament textual tradition Christians relied upon? 📖 What do the Dead Sea Scrolls tell us about the history of the biblical text? 📖 Is the Masoretic Text always closer to the original Hebrew, or are there places where the Septuagint may preserve an older reading? Whether you’re Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelical, or simply interested in Bible history, biblical manuscripts, textual criticism, early Christianity, Second Temple Judaism, Bible translation, apologetics, or the reliability of Scripture, this conversation is going to be worth hearing. The history of the Bible is far more complicated and interesting than most of us were ever taught. Stephen Hackett joins us LIVE TONIGHT at 8 PM Eastern. Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. And get ready to go down the rabbit hole. #Septuagint #BibleStudy #BiblicalStudies 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? Lutheran Pastor Takes Down Dispensationalism - Bryan Wolfmueller

Heres a link to the article  @PastorBryanWolfmueller  mentioned regarding dispensationalism: https://wolfmueller.co/dispensationalism/ Heres a link to his youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@PastorBryanWolfmueller LIVE: Why Lutheranism? Exploring Historic Christianity After Dispensationalism 🔥 LIVE TODAY AT 1PM EST on Bennis The Menace! 🔥 We’re taking our theological journey in a completely new direction. Today we’re sitting down LIVE with Lutheran pastor Bryan Wolfmueller to ask a question that has become increasingly important for us: What exactly do Lutherans believe, and could Lutheranism offer something that modern dispensational evangelical Christianity is missing? Pastor Wolfmueller is Senior Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas, and has spent years teaching Lutheran theology through sermons, books, podcasts, and online theological resources. Interestingly, he describes his own theological journey as moving through American Evangelicalism before eventually finding his home in Lutheranism. For us, this conversation is personal. We’re no longer dispensationalists, but leaving dispensationalism raises another HUGE question: Where do you go from here? Rather than immediately jumping into another theological camp, we want to explore the historic Christian traditions that existed long before modern American evangelicalism and understand what they actually teach. Today, we’re starting with LUTHERANISM. 🔥 WE’RE ASKING ABOUT: • What makes someone Lutheran? • What did Martin Luther actually teach? • Lutheranism vs. Evangelicalism • Lutheranism vs. Reformed theology • Lutheranism vs. Anglicanism • Lutheranism vs. other historic Protestant traditions • Infant baptism • Baptismal regeneration • The Lord’s Supper • The real presence of Christ • Law and Gospel • Salvation by grace through faith • Predestination and free will • Church tradition and Scripture • Liturgical worship • Confessions and creeds • The end times • Israel and the Church • The rapture • Dispensationalism • Christian Zionism • Biblical prophecy • What happens when you leave evangelical dispensationalism? One of the BIGGEST differences we want to investigate is eschatology. Dispensationalism commonly teaches a prophetic framework involving a rapture, tribulation, millennium, and a continuing distinction between Israel and the Church. Lutheran teaching historically rejects that dispensational framework. That difference can completely change the way someone reads Israel, Revelation, Daniel, Matthew 24, Romans 11, the Kingdom of God, the millennium, and biblical prophecy. But this conversation goes much deeper than the END TIMES. What happens when Christians raised in modern evangelical culture encounter a form of Protestant Christianity deeply rooted in the Reformation, historic liturgy, sacraments, creeds, confessions, and centuries of Christian theological tradition? Are we recovering something Christianity lost? Or are we trading one theological system for another? We want Pastor Wolfmueller to make the strongest biblical case for Lutheranism and help us understand where Lutherans believe modern evangelical Christianity has gone wrong. And we're bringing OUR questions. This isn't about announcing that we're becoming Lutheran. We're exploring. We’ve walked away from dispensationalism, and now we want to seriously investigate the alternatives rather than simply inheriting another theological system without questioning it. So whether you’re Lutheran, Baptist, Reformed, Presbyterian, Anglican, Methodist, Catholic, Orthodox, Pentecostal, non-denominational, ex-dispensationalist, or simply trying to understand Christianity, JOIN US LIVE. 🔥 TODAY AT 1PM EST Bring your questions. Challenge our assumptions. And help us explore one of the oldest and most influential streams of Protestant Christianity. 👇 LUTHERANS: Tell us in the comments. The Astral Realm Is A Demonic Simulation Projected Into Your Brain! - Sethlehem

LIVE AT 8PM EST What is the Astral Realm? Is it simply a product of the human brain... another dimension... or something the Bible has been warning us about all along? Millions of people claim to have encountered the same strange beings during psychedelic experiences, astral projection, meditation, sleep paralysis, and near-death experiences. Reports of "machine elves," geometric entities, spirit guides, jesters, reptilian-like beings, and otherworldly intelligences have exploded in recent years. But are these experiences merely hallucinations, or are they glimpses into a real spiritual realm? In this thought-provoking conversation, we sit down with Sethlehem to explore one of the most fascinating and controversial subjects at the intersection of Christianity, spiritual warfare, consciousness, and the supernatural. Together, we examine what the Bible says about the unseen realm and compare it with the experiences reported by people who have experimented with DMT, psilocybin, ayahuasca, LSD, astral projection, and other altered states of consciousness. Topics we discuss include: 🔹 What is the Astral Realm? 🔹 Is astral projection a real spiritual phenomenon? 🔹 Are the "machine elves" and other entities people encounter actually real? 🔹 Why do thousands of unrelated people report seeing remarkably similar beings? 🔹 Are psychedelic experiences opening a door to the spiritual realm? 🔹 What does the Bible teach about the unseen world? 🔹 Could these entities be deceiving spirits? 🔹 How should Christians think about altered states of consciousness? 🔹 Is there a biblical distinction between genuine spiritual experiences and forbidden occult practices? 🔹 What role does discernment play in evaluating supernatural claims? This is not a sensationalized discussion or an endorsement of psychedelic use. Our goal is to examine these claims through the lens of Scripture and encourage believers to think carefully and biblically about experiences that are becoming increasingly common in today's culture. Whether you've heard stories about DMT entities, wondered about near-death experiences, researched the supernatural, or simply want to understand how Christians should approach these topics, this conversation will challenge you to consider what the Bible actually teaches about the spiritual realm. As interest in consciousness, ancient spirituality, UFO phenomena, interdimensional theories, and the unseen world continues to grow, Christians need a solid biblical framework for discerning truth from deception. Join us as we separate speculation from Scripture and ask the hard questions that many are afraid to discuss. If you enjoy conversations about biblical theology, the supernatural worldview of Scripture, spiritual warfare, biblical cosmology, ancient history, apologetics, prophecy, and challenging cultural narratives, you're in the right place. Let us know your thoughts in the comments: Do you believe the entities reported in psychedelic experiences are real? How should Christians interpret these encounters? Have you studied what the Bible says about the unseen realm? If you enjoyed this discussion, be sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE this video with someone who is interested in biblical perspectives on the supernatural. #AstralRealm #MachineElves #DMT #Psychedelics #ChristianPodcast #Supernatural #SpiritualWarfare #BibleStudy #Christianity #UnseenRealm #NearDeathExperience #AstralProjection #BiblicalWorldview #Apologetics #Sethlehem #BennisTheMenace 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? NO 7 Year Tribulation In The Bible! Daniel's 70 Weeks Explained!

🚨 LIVE TONIGHT • 8:00 PM EST 🚨 Did Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy really predict a future 7-year tribulation... or has one of the most influential doctrines in modern prophecy been built on a misunderstanding of the text? Tonight we're taking a deep, verse-by-verse deep dive into Daniel 9:24–27, one of the most debated and misunderstood prophecies in all of Scripture. For generations, this passage has been treated as the foundation of dispensational theology, the pre-tribulation rapture timeline, and the idea of a future seven-year tribulation. But does Daniel actually teach any of that? You may be surprised to discover that the phrase "seven-year tribulation" never appears anywhere in the Bible. In fact, the entire concept rests almost exclusively on one particular interpretation of Daniel's 70 Weeks—a reading that we'll carefully examine against the biblical text itself. During this live study, we'll walk through the prophecy in its historical, grammatical, and biblical context, allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture. We'll examine the timeline of the seventy weeks, the identity of the "anointed one," the covenant, the destruction of Jerusalem, and the purpose of the prophecy. We'll also compare Daniel's prophecy with the New Testament's interpretation to see whether the apostles point us toward a future prophetic gap or to the work of Christ and the events surrounding the first century. We'll answer questions like: • Does Daniel ever separate the seventieth week from the first sixty-nine? • Where did the modern idea of a seven-year tribulation originate? • Who is the one who "confirms a covenant" in Daniel 9:27? • What does it mean to "finish transgression," "make an end of sins," and "bring in everlasting righteousness"? • How does Jesus' Olivet Discourse relate to Daniel's prophecy? • Why is Daniel 9 considered the cornerstone of dispensational eschatology? • What did the earliest Christians believe about this prophecy? Whether you're a dispensationalist, historic premillennialist, amillennialist, postmillennialist, preterist, or simply someone who wants to understand God's Word more faithfully, this study is designed to challenge assumptions and encourage careful biblical interpretation. Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. Bring your favorite translation. We want this to be an open, Scripture-centered discussion where every claim is tested against the text. If you've ever wondered whether popular end-times teachings accurately reflect what Daniel actually wrote, you won't want to miss this conversation. 📅 LIVE TONIGHT 🕗 8:00 PM Eastern / 7:00 PM Central / 6:00 PM Mountain / 5:00 PM Pacific 👍 If you enjoy serious Bible study, be sure to Like, Subscribe, and turn on notifications so you never miss future live discussions on biblical prophecy, covenant theology, the kingdom of God, Israel and the Church, the New Testament's use of the Old Testament, and challenging theological topics. #BibleStudy #LiveBibleStudy #Daniel9 #Daniels70Weeks #EndTimes #BiblicalProphecy #Eschatology #Dispensationalism #Rapture #Tribulation #BookOfDaniel #ChristianYouTube #Theology #Scripture #BibleTeaching 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? We Are True Israel! It Was NEVER All 🇮🇱

LIVE tonight at 8pm EST! Is the Church the true Israel of God? Did the apostles teach that God's covenant people have always been defined by faith rather than ethnicity? Or does the Bible maintain a permanent distinction between Israel and the Church? This is one of the most important—and controversial—questions in biblical theology, and tonight we're diving deep into the Scriptures to examine what the Bible actually says. In this live discussion, we explore Paul's powerful statement in Galatians 6:16 about the "Israel of God" and examine whether this title refers to all faithful believers in Christ. We trace this theme throughout both the Old and New Testaments, asking whether God has always viewed His people as those who believe Him, from Abraham onward, rather than merely those descended by physical lineage. We'll examine key passages such as Romans 2, Romans 4, Romans 9, Romans 11, Galatians 3, Ephesians 2, Philippians 3, 1 Peter 2, and many more. What did Paul mean when he said, "Not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel"? Why does he call believers "Abraham's seed"? And what does it mean that there is "neither Jew nor Greek" in Christ? This conversation also tackles some of the biggest questions surrounding Dispensationalism, Covenant Theology, and the identity of God's people. Is the olive tree in Romans 11 one tree shared by believing Jews and Gentiles? Who are the heirs of the promises made to Abraham? Has God's plan always centered on a faithful remnant rather than mere genealogy? Whether you've been wrestling with the concepts of the Israel of God, the New Covenant, biblical prophecy, or the relationship between Israel and the Church, this discussion will challenge you to reconsider long-held assumptions by carefully examining Scripture in its context. Our goal isn't to win an argument—it's to let the Bible speak for itself. We'll compare Scripture with Scripture, explore the historical context, and discuss how these passages have been understood throughout church history. No matter where you currently stand on this issue, you'll come away with a deeper understanding of one of the Bible's most fascinating theological discussions. If you've ever asked: Is the Church the Israel of God? Who are the true children of Abraham? Does faith define God's covenant people? Are believers the fulfillment of Israel's promises? What did Paul really teach about Israel? ...then this conversation is for you. Be sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE this discussion with others who are passionate about biblical truth and sound theology. What To Do After Leaving Dispensationalism? Catholicism? Orthodox?

LIVE Tonight at 7:00 PM EST | What Comes After Dispensationalism? For years we embraced dispensational theology. We defended it, taught it, and believed it explained Bible prophecy better than any other system. But after years of studying Scripture—carefully examining the context of key passages, comparing the Old and New Testaments, and testing long-held assumptions—we reached a point where we could no longer reconcile dispensationalism with what the Bible actually says. So now comes the harder question... Where do we go from here? If dispensationalism isn't the answer, what is? Should we become Eastern Orthodox? Roman Catholic? Reformed? Lutheran? Anglican? Or is there another path entirely? Join us LIVE tonight at 7:00 PM EST for an honest, unscripted conversation as we wrestle with one of the biggest questions facing many Christians who leave modern evangelicalism. We'll discuss why we no longer believe dispensationalism is taught in Scripture, including topics like: Does the Bible really teach a pre-tribulation rapture? What is "the age to come" in the New Testament? Is there actually a future 1,000-year earthly kingdom after Christ returns? Are Israel and the Church permanently separate peoples of God? Does the New Testament reinterpret Old Testament prophecy? What do passages like Matthew 24, 1 Corinthians 15, Romans 8, Hebrews, and Revelation actually say? We'll also talk about something many people experience but few discuss openly: What happens after you leave dispensationalism? For many believers, questioning dispensational theology isn't just about eschatology—it's about identity, church, community, and finding a faithful place to worship. Since so many evangelical churches in North America teach some form of dispensationalism, where do you go if you no longer believe it? This isn't a debate or a hit piece against fellow Christians. It's a genuine search for biblical truth. We want to examine Scripture honestly, follow the evidence wherever it leads, and have an open conversation with those who are asking the same questions. If you've ever found yourself rethinking the rapture, questioning end-times charts, wondering whether the early church believed what modern evangelicals teach, or exploring historic Christianity for the first time, this livestream is for you. Bring your Bible, your questions, and your perspective. Whether you're still dispensational, recently left the system, are exploring Orthodox or Catholic Christianity, or simply want to understand these issues more deeply, we'd love to hear from you in the live chat. 👍 Like the stream, subscribe to the channel, and share this with someone who's been asking hard questions about Bible prophecy, the end times, and the future of the Church. 📅 LIVE Tonight – 7:00 PM EST Topics: Dispensationalism • Rapture • End Times • Biblical Prophecy • Israel and the Church • Millennium • Orthodox Christianity • Roman Catholicism • Historic Christianity • Bible Study • Theology • Eschatology • Evangelicalism • Church History • Live Q&A #Dispensationalism #EndTimes #Rapture #BibleProphecy #Eschatology #Christianity #Orthodox #Catholic #BibleStudy #Theology #LiveStream #ChurchHistory #Revelation #Matthew24 #1Corinthians15 #Hebrews #Romans8 #ChristianYouTube #LiveQA 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? We're also expecting plenty of questions about Satan's Little Season. It seems like Satan's Little Season has become one of the hottest topics in biblical prophecy right now, and more people than ever are asking whether the Bible teaches that we're living in Satan's Little Season today. We'll be discussing why we believe Satan's Little Season deserves serious biblical examination, what passages led us to reconsider our views, and why this topic has generated so much discussion across YouTube and beyond. If you've been following the growing conversations surrounding Satan's Little Season, tonight is the perfect opportunity to ask your questions directly. Whether you're convinced, skeptical, or just hearing about Satan's Little Season for the first time, we welcome respectful dialogue and honest questions.
