63: Let's Talk About Sex and Submission in Marriage

Friends, it's time we go there. This episode is a response to some comments we have received in a previous episode about what biblical leadership and submission looks like in a marriage. We also chat about what that looks like when it comes to sex and intimacy with your spouse. We encourage both wives and husbands to listen to this together, because we think it will be a benefit to your marriage in some way (maybe get your husbands to skip the life update part as there is mention of some TMI girly stuff!) We want to add a disclaimer that we are not qualified Pastors, Counsellors or Theological Experts on this subject. We are coming to this conversation having wrestled with a lot of these things in our own marriage, looking honestly at what Scripture says and how we can best apply that to our marriages. Make sure to subscribe or follow the podcast and if you have a moment, we'd love you to rate and review the podcast if you are loving our content so far. We'd deeply appreciate it! 58: Building A Marriage That Lasts (with Abby from @an.intentional.wife)

In this episode, we interview Abby from @an.intentional.wife. Jess found Abby on Instagram over one of her viral reels (listen to find out what it was about). Abby opens up to us about how to have an intentional marriage, the little things that make a huge difference to support your marriage and the little things that create tension and disconnect in a marriage. We talk about how to date your spouse again and the importance of dressing up for your husband (you'll love the way she and her husband figured out a spicy way to do this!) We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we loved chatting with Abby. Disclaimer: Jess's audio was not working well in this episode - sorry in advance!
